Im from Vancouver bc its still one of the more preferred provinces to live
2022-01-07 0
WOW. This report must be very old because Quebec is definately not the #1 Provincw infact it is the most violent and unsafe province to live in.
2022-01-06 0
Sad that Quebec is such a racist province...actually one of the worst provinces to live in!
2022-01-06 0
Hi Igor how can I migrate to Canada in Prince Edward Island or four provinces you say you have ? Just apply ?
2022-01-06 0
You may have ranked Quebec number 1, but ask anyone west of there and you’ll discover that it the most hated province also!
2022-01-05 0
We have provinces, not states lol

A little sad to see Manitoba last, but thank you for mentioning Churchill as the only thing Manitoba is best at! Polar Bears. I’m proud to say it’s my home town. \n\nAlso I highly dispute Quebec being the best province. They get soooooo much of Alberta’s money in equalization payments from federal government. \nThe excuse you had for Alberta’s economy being tied to oil is the same for the entire country.

thank you for loving my province, alberta

I'm from Quebec and moved to Alberta and I agree it could be a great province to live in, except if your job is in Montreal and you want to commute. The traffic of Montreal is horrible, even worse than Toronto's. The healthcare and education systems of Quebec are also inferior to Alberta, BC and Ontario because of the very heavy bureaucracy. Oh and heavy bureaucracy = Higher taxes than elsewhere in the country. But Quebec has a good quality of life in general because of its low cost of living in general and its strict controls on rent, car insurance and electricity prices, which prevent these from going up by too much. People tend to benefit from more government protections towards abusive businesses in Quebec than elsewhere in the country. Quebec also has cheaper beer, but wine and spirits are cheaper in Alberta. That province also doesn't have a lawsuit culture because of its no-fault rules in many aspects (For ex: You cannot be sued for causing a car accident or failing to clear snow from your driveway.) Alberta is more boring (At least, Edmonton. Calgary looks very cool.), but has better public services and better economic potential than Quebec. It's better in my opinion to raise a family in Alberta. And many people think you can move to Quebec without knowing French. That's false, except if you really wanna hate your time in Quebec. In terms of the climate, Quebec has a milder climate than Alberta but has more snow and their summers are very damp, while Alberta has more comfortable and dry summers. Owning an A/C is imperative in Quebec.

Lol this guy really put Quebec as number 1 and put BC which is by far our best province 4th hahaha

Manitoban here. I've lived here all my 70 years and have never regretted it. I've never been out of work. If you've never travelled Manitoba, then you've never seen the most beautiful scenery of most provinces. Your comments on Canada's provinces is unappreciated and disgusting. Canada is beautiful no matter which province you live in, so take your childish opinion and shove it.
2022-01-04 0
Most dangerous province!!! We are number one!
2022-01-04 0
I'm offended Manitoba is the worst province smh

To me, the problem is threefold. a) Toronto and Ontario in general - and perhaps the whole of Canada - are accepting way more immigrants than they have quality jobs for. If you need taxi drivers and plumbers, maybe this experience should be valued way higher than education as part of the existing immigration programs (which is not the case). At least then potential immigrants know this before they come and get stuck in low-paying or relatively OK-paying but repetitive and demoralizing jobs with debts and mortgages that become a trap preventing them from leaving. It's also partially on immigrants themselves who come to Toronto to only find out there's 100 people competing for one spot and that you need to be exceptional - or connected through your ethnic network - to work regular white-collar jobs. b) The official bipartisan policy of non-integration. The naive expectation that having people live in ethnic enclaves will somehow make the overall culture richer is not what happens: instead, people tend to stick to their own communities and the common culture thus gets eroded and limited to economic and financial matters. This makes some cities feel like one large business with everyone networking 24/7 instead of socializing normally. And arguably, having the right culture / social life is what motivates already successful people move in the first place. So when they come and they find out there's nothing but money talk and hustling, they leave (if they're smart). Quebec is doing better in that regard, but then Quebec is not really Canada and it's been pressured to cave in to the same money-centred, uncultured and disconnected society by the feds for decades now. The States is smarter in that it actually makes sure to integrate its immigrants (and let's be honest, many immigrants like being part of a new culture if it fits them) c) Treating real estate as an investment and not as a basic necessity (as Japan or some Nordic countries do, for example). That coupled with a lot of Asian money being laundered in Canada through immigration channels and private equity firms buying whole apartment blocks for rental purposes has led to the highest housing price increase in all of the developed world in the past 20 years or so. The median price of a condo in Toronto is higher than in New York despite the massive gap in salaries and the fact that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world to begin with. Some draconian measures are needed here to prevent foreign - or even out-of-province ownership -, second property ownership and corporate ownership for renting purposes.

I think the best province is Ontario
2022-01-04 0
I like Alberta, but not enamoured with it. Luckily it has an industry that gets the biggest technical subsidy to any industry ever. Now we see the younger generations are paying a big price for this and will continue to do so for decades to come because of a province that basically just wanted to ride the wave instead having any foresight not to mention it's lax approach to industry regulation.

I had no idea racism makes Quebec the best province. Go figure!
2022-01-02 1
I can’t say I agree with Quebec as number one, tax rates are huge when you factor in property taxes, car insurance, plus they have the most expensive gas, outside of NFLD. The people are mostly rude when it comes to those that cannot speak French (yes I’m unilingual English not by choice, my hearing is bad). In support of my opinion, I have travelled (camping) in every province and territory except the Yukon. I have met some amazing people kind, friendly helpful, sadly I cannot apply that to Quebec. I wish this would not be the case as there are many parts of the province I would love to go see.

PEI is the best province. Everyone is so friendly there and it’s beauty is probably second to none. (B.C. is also very pretty, but something about PEI is more beautiful for me.) Anyways, it’s hard to go wrong anywhere in Canada.

Thank you for your entertaining video. Hard to fit such a diverse and beautiful country in in short video. There was no mention of Québec City. Out of the most beautiful province in Canada, Québec city is the birthplace of the nation....and a slice of Europe! Skiing in Canada in the province of Québec on the ancient Appalachians....or in the Rockies of British Columbia....EPIC! As well, Canada has 2 official languages nation wide.
2022-01-01 0
British Columbia is the best province u can’t change my mind ?
2021-12-31 0
You forgot to mention that Quebec is by far the most racist province, they hate outsiders, their government is completely corrupt, they never signed the constitution, provide a huge portion of the national debt, require bailouts from other provinces, completely overtake Canadian politics, should I continue?
2021-12-30 0
Just fyi, Ontario is the biggest province in terms of population size and not Quebec, and by far. However, Montreal (Quebec biggest city) is indeed one of the best city in Canada because of it's different cultural/shows events that are happening almost all year long, and it's very diverse as well. Also, in the western part of Montreal it wouldn't be a problem for a unilingual anglophone to live there because everyone is bilingual or unilingual English. Quebec city is also the oldest city in North America, a very nice place to visit and only 250 km from Montreal. If one is working in the financial sector however Toronto remains the real option in my opinion, but his way more expensive and so, so boring compared to Montreal.

Newfoundland and Labrador is by far the best province to live!! Hands Down!!!
2021-12-30 2
I visited Canada as a tourist a few times. It is definately one of the best countries (landscape + people). Each province has its own charm and from my foreign perspective all provinces are ranked no. 1 ??
2021-12-29 0
If you don't speak French you will be shunned....even if you are trying. The Federal Government gives anything and everything to the province of Quebec and that would be the only reason it is #1!
2021-12-29 0
As an Australian, this video was interesting and informative in showing what a beautiful country Canada is, and the built environment is also so impressive. Also, I am naturally unbiased by any rivalry between provinces, particularly concerning Quebec. Oh, and I can usually discern a Canadian accent, which to my ear sounds more refined than many accents from the United States.
2021-12-28 0
Very informative video . Which province you suggest to apply NOC code 7237 ? Thanks .
2021-12-26 0
even when hes saying newfoundland is the 2nd worst province he still points out that it isn't a bad place!!
2021-12-21 1
I was expecting Quebec to be near the bottom of the list , most Anglos don't really like Quebec especially the fact it's mostly French and taxes are high , you ranked Nova Scotia and New Brunswick low because of your criteria i understand ,those are the two province that i want to visit some day , after all this mandated medical apartheid ends ...
2021-12-20 0
From NL. It would help your credibility if you could actually pronounce Newfoundland. (Hint - it rhymes with Understand). Like all the provinces, each is large enough - even PEI, that there are significant differences from one part to another. From Coast to Coast, Canada is a great country!!
2021-12-18 0
I will take the remote places any day over crowded, noisy cities thank you very much.\n\nAlso, you are painting the whole province of NL based on St. John's... once you get off the Avalon, the weather is better.

I'm move in Ontario Ottawa Im originally from Quebec Montreal. Ontario is so great better compare to Quebec even school are better in Ontario even the food everything is better in Ontario than Quebec to me Ontario is the best province in Canada I can tell
2021-12-17 0
I think all provinces should be the same law and Quebec should be the same than they other even talk English
2021-12-16 0
Video's great, but 0:50 we call them provinces or territories, not states.
2021-12-15 0
Excuse me! Sorry to bother you, but there seems to have been a slight mistake in your tour bookings. You see, you mention this being a Canadian tour, but I'm afraid it looks like there are no dates in the Atlantic provinces at present. I'm sure this must just be a misunderstanding, doubtless our fault. But we're terribly desperate for vaguely famous people to claim some connection with at the moment, and we'd be absolutely delighted if you found the time to stop by one of our vaguely historic cities? If it's not a bother, of course... maybe next time? :)
2021-12-14 0
I'm French and for me Quebec is obviously the best part to live in Canada ! But all provinces are so beautiful.
2021-12-12 0
We don’t have states in Canada… we have provinces.
2021-12-11 0
In which « state »!?!??? I know it’s for the joke but come on guys, provinces……!!!! ?
2021-12-11 1
The state joke won't work in Canada...provinces.
2021-12-09 0
You need to come to Winnipeg, MB! People always forget the Prairie Provinces.
2021-12-09 0
I'd wished you come to Montreal in Quebec! That said, I don't leave my lovely province very often but I might make a short trip in Ontario you see you guys in Ottawa. I've been hoping to see you perform on stage for a very long time!
2021-12-09 0
They don’t have states in Canada, they have provinces. M.
2021-12-09 0
Love this! ????????\n\nP.S. Canada doesn't have states, but provinces.
2021-12-09 0
Yeh you are coming to Canada. I will be there even if you do not come to Quebec (will go to Toronto) in March and I will see you in Dublin in April. You sketch is well done. Even if as a French Canadian you did not refer to French. Probably safer anyway. One tiny glitch referring to which state ? Goes well with the answer but Canada has NO states. We have provinces and territories. USA as the inhospitable region is damn right. Have a nice day.
2021-12-09 0
Love you guys, but just to be clear, we have provinces and territories here in Canada, not states. Just saying, eh?
2021-12-09 0
Great sketch, but a little bit of nitpicking: I understand the drunk joke is impossible without it, but we call them provinces, not states.
2021-12-09 2
0:55 every time they try to subvert our expectations. What was the expected answer for this one, seems weird since they are provinces
2021-12-08 0
Fun fact : British Columbia, Ontario, and Alberta are the top performers among all the provinces, earning “B” grades on the Education and Skills report card.

My life is already broken ...really sad experience with Qc. Shouldn't have even live in the this province even for 1 night.
