Here is a great irony. Cmdr. Shilling has served in the Navy for the last 20 years with honor and pride of country. I cannot see why the idiots in DC are making a big issue of her gender change. Does the fact that she is transgender make her any less of an officer and a pilot? My husband serve this country in total of 30 years in the Marine Corps and he shared to me about a gay in the military that suddenly grab his butt and punch him right away and complain about this situation happening in the military.
