Sorry to say , how foreigners can stage a protest like this? As an Indian, I don't see anything wrong on Canada's part. Canada has every right to fix their immigration rules.

The basic problem is that they subsidize foreign worker. Meaning they pay part of their wages. So not what is happening is companies are threatening citizen's to be fired and replaced by these workers.

Frankly speaking the vast majority of those students from most parts of the world, are not in Canada strictly for an education. Their goal is a Canadian PR and I am not blaming them for that in the slightest.

The students taken in by QUEBEC to be trained as nurses are complaing they do not get ENOUGH financially. The few CANADIANS going into nursing here have no financial backing. They carry themselve s through by working part time . I suspect many will not pass their exams anyway. No matter how much people are payed if they are not happy or liking what they are doing , they will not be doing A GOOD JOB.

The real Germany (West Germany) is as described in the video. But paying taxes and knowing that someone in the east will get part of your earnings isn't something I'd subscribe to. Coz those in the East aren't Germans, but rather a mix of USSR and 3rd Reich citizens.

As an Indian I would say it's a great move from Canada, should have done this earlier, their own people are unemployed, most students around the world go to Canada with students visa not to study but work and earn in dollars, government should make it very clear that students can't even work part time but recently they increased the number of hours they can work which is pathetic....

I understand you as a foreigner need to learn the language of the country in which you reside in, but I still find it really strange that A LOT of Immigration Offices are for the most part german-only and some advise you to bring a translator.\n\nI mean if there's anywhere that needs people who can speak english, the immigration office would be the obvious choice.

I have lived in Germany for six years. I did my graduate studies in Berlin. I speak the language fluently. Compared to the US, where I live now, Germany has much to offer. However, as an immigrant, whatever skills and whatever paper or citizenship you might have, you will never feel that you belong there. Language is another issue. Germany is for Germans, while the US is for everyone from any part of the world.

Yeah Indian students come to Canada and empty food banks intended for Canadians, occupy rental houses needed for Canadian families, and take all service jobs making it hard for Canadian born students to find part time work.... They also get free services paif for by Canadian taxpayers for Canadian citizens... Canada gets ripped off by students of every race and nationality.... Canadians getting totally fed up. As an Indian living in India, I also hate Canadians as well. They stereotype whole India without realizing the diversity of India. They are putting the blame on Indians, but not ready to acknowledge their immigration policy is poor. Your immigration policy should encourage bright minds to move there, but their selection criteria favours particular religion, area and people. Punjab is only a small part of India and so is Gujarat. Majority of Indians don't care about Canada.

If housing cost in Canada is down …..then immigrants save more money …and money keeps going out of Canada ….or less parents money come into Canada …..by keeping housing costs high ….major part of immigrants earnings goes to the landlords the older Canadian residents ….hence money earned in Canada remains in Canada.

At the Connaught Place police headquarters, a police officer told me that the biggest problem between Indians is their lack of trust. It doesn't exist. In my last 6 months here, Me and my Family had a very positive experience meeting supportive and friendly people. Specially my daughter was really happy and quickly integrated with the support of very precise education system. However, language remains the main barrier to us on integrating fully. Yes ,as an immigrants, it's essential to learn the language to truly become part of the culture and community, but it's challenging to achieve this in a short period. even it says short of Skill employees , Professionals like me who had a successful career back home makes its really difficult to find a job due to language barrier. I wish there were a proper mechanism to help candidates like us find jobs while we learn the language, We are eager to work, earn, and contribute to the economy.

Forget the language barrier. Even if you speak German their bureacracy is worse. It discriminates and even if you are legally correct they will purposelly give you wrong information on what you are eligible for. The labour office gave the wrong advice to a friend recently and asked her to quit her Job as the doctor had asked her not to return to work after a long sickness. Even though she was eligible for job benefits as she paid labour insurance they refused to pay her on sick grounds and asked her to quit her Job and come back. She did it only to be told later that she would get only part of the benefits as their doctor without examining or seeing her or even checking the background declared her unfit for a full time Job. They went to court and the court declared that the Labour office was correct. The lower court sent it to the upper court and the upper court said it was not responsible and the district court was responsible and asked us to withdraw the case. The courts are hand in glove with the bureaucracy and even if the bureaucracy makes mistakes they will always support it.

Systematic racism is a part of the system. I am a civil servant scientist working in a French lab. Before joining my new position, I worked 6 months at KIT which is considered top 3 ranked university in Germany. The way I was treated was not right for me. I am a dutch citizen who worked in academia in different countries, including Japan, US. The only place I faced racism at academic level was Germany. The head of group allows him/herself to infer into your personal life just because they can fire you anytime they want. The only country which has 6 months of probation is Germany, nowhere else keeping you like a hostage to shape you as their slave and if you do not obey, you are fired. This might be irrelevant but I want to share an incident which I find very tragic. I worked in German schools as a part of a project which allowed me to observe primary school life. There was this one special day on which students(age8-9) were allowed to come to school wearing costumes of their favourite characters. There was superman, batman ?‍♀️ costumes worn by some students with migration background and at the end of the day they all got arrested by german students who were all dressed up as german polizei. ?‍♂️\nThere was unimagineable amount of discrimination going on in an ordinary classroom everyday. At least nothing an 8 year old child can handle. \nI dont have kids but i know I would never gamble with my childrens future and psychology.. even if you give me millions...
