My parents immiagrated here like 30 years ago and made sure to live in a community with different ethnic groups so they could adapt and learn english and assimilate. No one that immigrates here does that anymore. Im canadian born and i want to leave this country for good. There is nothing here for me.

Why fool these people with false expectations, 2:17 and when they arrive, it becomes a problem, Agencies and Government should think before they announce news like this. They want more immigration , but who is going to supply these people needs when they get here? Is it that easy?

The government says we need immigrants to fill the jobs left by retiring boomers. Millennials, plus GenX ers out number Boomers so there are lots of people out there to fill jobs. Corporations like Mac Donalds, Tim Hortons etc. want immigrants so they can keep their costs low and make even more money.

When a commodity is scarce, its value rises. Labor is a commodity. Workers rightly do not want there to be a surplus of labor. Their livelihoods are threatened. \n\n(5) Future care of the old: the more people we add now, the more people we will have to take care of later, when their working lives are done. Adding immigrants now to pay for the care of the old is therefore a pyramid scheme. Eventually, in a generation or two, the population of the world is set to decline, and the well of immigrants will run dry. Canada should aim for fewer, rather than more, retirees – as preparation for that coming moment.

As a child of minority immigrants, I do believe that the balance has been overstretched. Also, people coming to any country should want to fully integrate as much as possible. I don't see that going well presently either.

They're welfare shopping and Vice is ignoring the root cause; illegal immigration. They just want a better life, and I understand that, but they keep backing corrupt governments and religion. And they are refugees from their own countries because those countries can't manage themselves. The West, mostly considered an enemy to these countries, is not responsible for the welfare of people who are gaming the system with no intention and / or ability to assimilate into Western society. Instead, they actively work to change them from within to suit their religions and agendas. Not to mention the spike in crime from too much immigration. I don't think Russia is actively weaponizing migration against Europe. It's just that Russia doesn't care much: if the immigrants come live in Russia illegally, Russia will deport them; but if they want to go to western europe (with free housing, free healthcare, etc.) through Russia, then why does Russia stop them? For what? EU doesn't care about Russia's interests, why should Russia care about EU interest?

Similar issues here in the US, only ours are pouring in over the southern border with Mexico. Hardly any speak English nor have any real interest to, as well as no interest in assimilation. They live in their own little communities surround by their own kind, 90% being illegal as hell. We have immigrant problems of the less legal type here. They just come on over. Parasites upon our welfare system, the left takes advantage of them as future D voters & to bulk up their delegates which are based on population. Look at the sanctuary cities. Overrun with crime. But when we ship them to marthas vineyard or nyc or dc, where these wealthy leftists reaide, then oh no suddenly theres a problem ? they dont want them in their own cities their own back yards. F'ing hypocrites. It really does give evidence to the great replacement theory. Look it up if you don't already know. Theres a very real reason for all this happening the way it is.

Housing is the bigger problem, not the immigrants. We allowed foreign buyers to mop up all the detached and artificially raise prices. Now homes are 8-10x income when banks will only lend you 4x. How does that math work? Are Canadians supposed to have 600k saved if they want to buy a start 1M detached in Toronto? There are a multitude of issues in Canada right now.

Cherry on top are the income taxes. Cost of living is ridiculous expensive because not much is left in the bank after the government takes their part. I was able to build some wealth in Canada and left as soon I could. Being taxed 53% to live next to an injection site? Waiting MONTHS for healthcare? Not able to afford the expensive condos because the government took me half of my money? No thanks. \nLook at the US. Cost of living is still high these days but way more is left in your wallet. Canada doesn’t want anyone to build wealth. The system is really messed up. They want poor immigrants earning minimum wage in bad conditions.

Canada is huge but only has handful of cities that offer employment opportunities, if govt wants to continue immigration they have to build new cities and cheap houses.

This is SUCH a puff piece completely one sided that dismisses legitimate concerns as the only reason being xenophobic......Canada has always welcomed people but it was done at a lot slower pace where people had a chance to assimilate and build a life. You can't add over a million people a year with different cultures and pretend it's going to be ok. Ignoring the massive housing crisis, it's a culture crisis. A lot of the people coming do not share Canadian values, period. Canadians are noticing a massive change in the country they love seemingly overnight. You go out in any city and you barely see white people anymore. It's jarring. It was made into an amazing country by certain people and now it seems new immigrants are treated better than citizens. Everyone is in favor of immigration done the right way, but that isn't what's happening and natural born Canadians have every right to be upset that the country is being ruined in a way they don't want.

If you travel through Indian villages mainly in Punjab, Mumbai, Delhi and Southern states every KM you will see study/immigrate to Canada. They will tell you it is very easy as you need to spend only INR2.0Million( CAD 35K) to get there and balance you can work there as part time. Majority of Indians coming to Canada is from low income families who want to become middle class in India . High time Canada regulate its student intake and restrict only to selected universities and courses and stop allowing part time work. High skill immigration is still ok as they are coming based on their merit and point threshold and definitely contributing for Canadas economic growth. Student intake must be controlled .

Exact same issue in Australia. High immigration levels despite the ongoing housing crisis and cost of living crisis. Local people are living in cars and tents, but the government wants to bring in millions more foreign immigrants. It doesn't make sense and it's not racist to say so.

Most people realize this has nothing to do with a persons race. Its population size. When you increase population size drastically it effects infrasture when government dont invest x amount of dollars into system. You have to plan. Look at our housing market. SUPPLY AND DEMAND ISSUES. When you increase population size and there's not enough homes to house people that only increases the costs. Whats going on is suicide to alot of people. Also media does not want to report why Liberal government has 4x increased immigration in a yr span compared to 1x. Also why is there racial preference for India? After watching your video u have some point. But since 2020 Canada donated to much money to Ukraine and also getting immigrants. Maybe you don’t know but Canada give the free visa to them and paying for the hotels. I also want to mention that Canada is not exporting much to other countries if you check you going to find out more. All the companies you showed they are in USA Canada don’t have them so. I think the real reason are:\n\n1. Refugees from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Syria and Asylum seekers from Africa.\n2. Foreign investment in housing was allowed until 2022 which played a major part in prices going up.\n3. 1+ Million International students allowed in 3 years.\n4.
