So sad that the police only showed up next day. Edmonton.... not surprised
2020-07-14 0
Didnt Edmonton cut their Police budget in half? Why are so many people in the comments surprised it took them a day to respond to this if that is the case? And why do you care? We dont need Police, remember? >->

Canada is just an extension, another state, of the U.S., therefore it’s not really surprising to me

A running gag in Canada: \n\nAmerica: We banned kinder surprise, because someone might get hurt.\n\n\n\nCanada: We didn’t do that no. \nWe banned guns

I find this very surprising but I guess Canada can’t altogether sustain an unprecedented amount of immigrants but Trudeau is the who said Canada is the first post national country wtf does that mean

lol even if they were hypothetically stealing, I'm more surprised these shoppers employees care enough to play security when they are getting paid minimum wage....

Hey Drew, it's surprising that you forgot to mention the obsession with guns in the USA amongst the differences

The first time i travelled across Canada on a road trip, heading west, going town to town along the TransCanada Hiway, i choose a black friend to accompany me. I choose him because he was really easy to get along with and i knew he was an auto mechanics enthusiast, which, as it turned out came in handy on the trip. We were on the road for a few months. I grew up in a city in a little multicultural bubble of liberalism and was taught as a child not to judge others based on skin colour or sex; to be respectful towards people of all ilks and ethnicities. The thing is, i was young enough to not really realize that i was in a bubble. As we travelled though parts of Saskatchewan and Alberta, where there are few to no blacks in many towns, i began to realize that Canada is quite racist in the outback and little towns mid country. I was surprised and actually angered by it. My friend took it in stride however. For example, i was meeting people, getting invited home for dinner and meet the wife and kids sort of thing, and my friend couldn't even get a conversation going with most people, they just totally ignored him and gave him a wide berth. I know underlying all of that is just the fear of an unknown quantity and the fact that a lot of Canadians watch American news sometimes which tends to be chock full of black in gang wars, shooting each other and committing violent crime so they get a false view of black culture because the news at that time rarely showed blacks unless they were committing a crime.

Drew I’m surprised you didn’t talk about the diversity in Canada where I am from in Canada it seems there are more people that came from third world countries than people born in Canada

Oh my god I live in England which is nearly one of the smallest country. its smaller than california but it has 20 million more residents then Canada\n\n\nOk i get it. Canada has a lot of its space using up natural habitats and islands so less people \nBut England surprisingly has 55 million people

Canada: Bans guns because they are dangerous\nUSA: Bans Kinder Surprise Eggs because they are dangerous
2020-04-09 0
Guns vs No Guns\nBan on Kinder Surprises vs Kinder Surprises\n\n\n\nI think it’s pretty clear

Is anyone really surprised he’s doing this ? They have to round up all of them and the Trudeau family and make them “ disappear “
2020-03-29 0
It’s not a surprise to see this happening in Canada Let’s be honest guys.\nEven I went to Costco, little boy said “ why are you guys shopping here if you are not speaking English now”\nI will Never Ever forget how he made his face to me
2020-03-18 0
Anyone surprised by this?\n\nThe #1 priority is to displace White Canadians in their own country. All other considerations are secondary.
2020-03-18 0
Why they need armed guards in Canada? Thought treudeu would have bongos and welcome wagons! New York State a liberal crap hole we welcome them to leave the United States. Surprised soy boy hasn’t disarmed Canada yet!

I am so surprised the people of Quebec do not care about this? Go Rebel go and keep up the good work!
2020-03-10 0
Why am I not SURPRISED.....they will buddy with you mostly due to fear(European), The others will buddy up to you and consider themselves just like us. Because, overall they’re a minority to. But, rather be accepted by the Europeans. And, of course the Black guy who is so over racism due to it impacting his/her life in abundance for centuries. They just want to be fair and be accepted.

It is what it is. Those employees are doing a fine job.\nWith the slave wages those people are being paid I'm surprised they even bother.

It's not surprising how insecure and Jealous white born Canadians have become with the influx of well to do new Canadians.
2020-02-16 0
Originally from the Philippines here and once a homeless man told me to go back where I came from. I'm actually surprised he said that, I’m just a passerby.\n\nIt hurts a bit but then I moved on. I think racism is everywhere. People just don’t have the time and mental energy to understand and know each other, I guess.\n\nThat is why I’m telling my son to have a good solid ground of resilience (aka not be to be a snowflake). Life is too short to wallow on this. We came to Canada as immigrants, do not except everyone to treat you like a first class citizen. But the way you act, the way you do, and how you treat people around you may earn you respect regardless of your color, race or creed.

This is a great documentary! the struggle is REAL! I just visited NZ and WOW...what a surprise! they need diversity and customer service training! I didn't like NZ at all...felt so insecure and always targeted

To be fair the situation is difficult, having worked in retail before there is plenty of shoplifting on a daily basis so I can understand why staff are trained to use procedures to make shoplifting less likely, it does result in an unpleasant experience for customers if they are misprofiled and unfortunately people do misjudge or assume that certain types of people are more likely to steal. A lot of shoplifting is actually surprisingly done by old people, and its usually not intentional, sometimes they just simply forget to pay.

15:02 I’m not surprised I always see brunettes with black or mixed race boys. Way more than blondes with black or mixed race guys.

Im surprised Canada allowed this to get this far. Anyone covering themselves up is very suspicious. Muslims need to stop pushing their fake religion into mainstream. U don’t see Christians wearing robes to work. The Muslim fake religion is based on nothing real, my Muslim friend said. Jesus was a real person. There is no real basis to their religion. If I see someone covered up, I do not shop at that store for fear of a shootout. Any lunatic can be under scarves in banks, Churches or schools. In this chaotic world which Muslims have contributed a lot to, we do not need to be covering ourselves up, especially suppressed women from archaic views made by man, not God.

They know we won't keep allowing our politicians to sell us out and they think Canadians are just as gullible as our leftist liberals are ! Surprise they aren't idiots either!

I learned something new today from watching this documentary, the fact that they actually named a town & a park Africville in the great white north. Some people are naive while others are not when it comes to racism. The very fact of the world has been conquered & dominated with the white supremacy mentality leave very little to be surprise that Canada had slaves. I think from what I've come to understands is that having slavery for 250 yrs most white Canadians will pretend to not be racist, but it's like those two kids in your class the one who had the paper thrown at him & the one who did it doesn't act like he did anything & the rest are just as bad because they saw who did it but are complicit by not saying anything. No one wants to be the rat, but at the same time they all know why the one kid that threw the paper did it & the one that had it done to them knows exactly why.

Got to visit the neighbors up north two months ago and thankfully, my experience was wonderful! I'm of Mexican descent from Southern California and was visiting St. John, NB, and the people in New Brunswick were surprisingly friendly folks. I even had a random stranger who was worried about my bowel movements and warned me that eating too much seaweed would give me the runs. I absolutely enjoyed my time in New Brunswick and look forward to visiting my neighbors up north again in the near future.

I'm not surprised, that's what white Canadians Are all about.
2019-10-20 1
Sooner or later we the Canadians will pay for mistakes our government commit. I won't be surprised if our economy of politics would be determined in Peking and not in Ottawa.
