One protester was saying he is a truk driver. Withen 1 year he is driving hiway? So he didn't come to study. Also all security companies has to be changed, all are in Indian's hand. Before they arrive in Canada they have curiosity jobs. Even in Air Port they are working. The Air Port job is only for 2 community. Every one know about. So Canada government has to stop and think about it. ?

As a Chinese immigrant, I have to say that Canada needs to evaluate the quality of new immigrants. For the past 20years, large amount of Chinese immigrated to Canada, 50% of them are wealthy, and brought millions billions of dollars to Canada, especially a lot of rich students who are willing to consume and pay taxes. The other 50% are not that wealthy, but they are working hard while not breaking the rules. Most importantly, they don’t take shit on the beach, and they are afraid to break laws!

It is all about economy and business, The Government is collecting huge capital from sponsorship and visa applications and processing system, and Colleges, Universities are making lot of money from foreign students charging 4,5 x fees, also people they move to Canada ?? ? they sell their properties and bring all the money to this country to start the business, providing jobs and contributing in to building Canadian economy even more stronger, we can’t say anything bad to any community just because of some bad people. In my opinion we are all Canadian and we love ❤️ our Country, we are civilized people and should respect each others, and Government should make good policies to beneficial for the Canadian peoples.\nLOVE ❤ FOR ALL\nHATRED FOR NONE\n???❤️??????

As a fellow Indian, They had enough time time to study and get a good job apply for PR instead they take useless courses , work instead of study and when the wp expires they think they can do a strike and demand to extend WP!Remember its an opportunity given by Canada to gain Workexperince after study instead you guys are make them take it back by doing this stupid strike! They were given false hopes about ‘Canadian Dream’ by Canada’s Public Colleges that if they study any diploma while paying 4 times the regular fees and if they have 1 year Canadian work experience then they’d be eligible to apply for Permanent Residency in Canada. This stream was started by Canadian govt to boost their sinking economy. And now after they’ve paid almost 40k in fees and paid taxes for 4 years they are being forced to leave Canada. All Canadian Dream hoax is over now and politicians blaming the poor students who are basically victims. \nWhy are public colleges still giving admissions to new students??? They just want to make money and squeeze innocent students. This is nothing new for Canadians. Canada is not taking advantage of population increase. See in another perspective, if Canada improves their high speed trains and buses, more people will visit more places, dying mining cities will revive etc. If you can reach within one to two hours from far cities, people working in Toronto will look for far places to live. Regarding Brampton, our councillors don't know what is needed for this City. Go and check Kennedy Road from Queen Street to Steel. There is no development. No university in Brampton. Easy to complain. But there is lot development needed in Brampton.

Not so acurate information. During the college time students can work only 20h/week. Unless it has changed. \n\nAlso, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get permanent residency before graduation because you need Canadian experience (full time) for at least 1 year in specialized areas. \n\nOnly if you successfully complete your program you get the full time work visa per 3y. In this time it’s going to be possible TO APPLY for permanent residence. \n\nBut not only that. Canadian experience give you extra points in the immigration program, but also a Bachelor’s degree, or a master degree, work experience in your back country, English level, and age. \n\nI don’t know for certain countries if the rules are different, but as long as I know, it’s the same for everybody. \n\nWhen I came as an international student, I had to prove the college was paid, also show I had enough money to support myself for 1y without work. Also, the program at college that costs $4000/semester for a Canadian student, it costs $8-10.000 for an international student. \n\nMy work visa (during college) allowed me 20h per week working only. \n\nTo get my study visa approved I had to show intermediate English, money, work experience, Bachelor’s degree (I have also a master’s), and explain why I wanted to study in Canada and why that program was related to my current career. \n\nTalking about jobs; I have worked as a housekeeper in a hospital (on weekends). After I graduated I became supervisor. \n\nSome people complain about students and immigrants getting the jobs, but what I’ve seen was a lot of people complaining EVERY DAY about their jobs, about their lives, etc…but doing absolutely nothing to change it.\n\nI got here as a student, I became immigrant, I worked as a cleaner, I graduated at college.after 2y working full time I got the permanent residence, and I was back to school. \nI got a Master’s degree at McMaster University, and now I am a manager in a big hospital. \nImmigrants taking the jobs???
