Which skill worker program is best to apply for visa to go to Canada?\n\nAs I’m currently studying nursing in the uk and want to relocate to Canada but I don’t know how to go about it

The wage of a miner in the US is $38,000 p.a. and they have to live on site permanently. I'm sure you know all the stuff about employment conditions, healthcare and crime over there but Canada is a different proposition. Work in Oil & Gas in Canada can be good but I remember when the oil price sank and a lot of it became unprofitable, a lot of Aussies were the first to lose their jobs over there and had to come back. The cold will also be another interesting factor. Sincerely wish you the best though and that you end up somewhere where you feel happy. Who knows - it could still be Perth or somewhere in Australia.

I’m American and Canada ?? is awesome I love the people. Some of the best people I ever met. Strangers paying for my food all type of stuff. Shout out to all Canadians. I wanted to move there it’s just too cold, I’m from Michigan. That Canadian weather hits different ?. But it’s somewhat strange to me that America and Canada open there borders like that. When every other country doesn’t want foreigners but there people stay coming to our countries make it make sense.

Born and raised Cdn and every point you raise is valid IMO and experience. I love my country however, it is hard to get ahead, we work too much, and cost of living is so expensive. The reason why Canada is wonderful for those who stay is A) Charter of Rights and Freedoms - we are protected by laws and citizens enjoy legal, justice, policing and gvmt services that help protect quality of life. B) it is a safe country primarily and not easy to reach for insurgents, terrorist attacks and political anarchy etc. C) We have so much land and space for people to decide where they want to live - density is not high so you can have space. D) it is a beautiful country with awe inspiring nature. E) we do have one of the best immigrant populations and that is our crown. Being diverse is a blessing so if you are atheist, Christian, Muslim etc doesn't matter - you can enjoy freedom to worship as you wish. And F) Healthcare could improve but, the quality of care is world class and speaking as a breast cancer survivor who's treatment ran $120k (diagnostics, chemo, surgery, radiation, med professionals, rehab and drug therapies) we have access to that care whereas in other countries you may not.

I moved to Canada from the US a few years ago. I lived in the US for over 30 year and the US government is a JOKE. Congress never got anything done regardless on what party is in office. If you're gay or trans I wouldn't move to the US because it's been very dangerous for that community especially in red states. The US still can't get better gun control to stop all of the mass school shootings yet and they think TikTok is the main threat right now. You can see where their priorities are. You can tell I moved to Canada due to political reasons lol Sure the cost of living in Canada are higher and I had to get adjusted to colder weather, but it was the best thing I ever did and I would NEVER move back to the US any time soon.

I'm from Alberta and think this is the best place to live and not Quebec who force us to put french on half of everything but they have the nerve to force everyone to speak french and then cry's and wines if anyone makes any kind of complaint about it. Of course they feel safe and super secure here in Canada because the govt will provide them everything, food, shelter and the monthly financial allowances. On the other hand, Canadian govt is getting credit and be known as the best humanitarian country in the world with the expense of its citizens working hard to earn a living. I am just voicing my sentiments here coz it took me 10 years before I am reunited with my family here. I was a nurse back home and in UAE entered here as caregiver. Before get back to my profession, I underwent many struggles and hardship. And still striving to live a comfortable life since everything is expensive now a days and govt seems no care to its citizens. instead, looking after of their world image. And I know a lot of people spending thousand of dollars for student visas to to enter legally here with their family back home financially drown with debts. And Some working visa still waiting for years get their open permit and Permanent res up now.

It's about time human beings realise we all need a better life, we need each other, I may be living my best life today, but tomorrow, I may be fleeing for a better life, safety for my life and my family. Its sad to watch some people, telling others to go back where they come from, forgetting that tomorrow it might be them, looking for help desperately. If the world were to be kind and loving, it would be a peaceful world to live in....Love your neighbour just as you would love yourself ??, Hope all those people find Canada as a home to live and make it into prosperous Country ??

Canada is pretty good with French immigration, the Middle East immigration and with people that are going to give something in exchange in their view, then all those people take the best and more they could and go back to their Countries. That kind of Immigration are using Canada to get the best and saying goodbye. But it is Canada's fault, too. Personally, I fed up of the system I am not white and no native French even I talk the both languages never turned to take me serious. So for me was better just went back to my country and never look back.

I am Canadian. I don't know if Canadians are nicer than Americans. I have met many nice Americans. but I think Canada is way better if you are poor or middle-class just like every other developed country in the world. we work less, we get more paid holidays. in America, you work like a slave if you're poor .but the best country in the world if you are rich.

The cost of living offsets in Canada and America when you account for education and health care alone. Canada is statistically one of the best countries in the world in all aspects and is way better than America in every way!

My favorite beggar story in Canada was when I was in the Future Cafe in Toronro. (Best bread I ever had was there.) A guy came up to me and asked for money. So I being young and stupid pulled some money out of my wallet and gave him some, he then proceeded to lecture me on how to help a pan handler. He told me to tell them no, leave, get the money out of my wallet then come back to them and give it, that way they do not know where my wallet is. (Lol) My most unfav. was 8 months before when I first went to Canada and was at the Toronto bus station. A man asked me for money, so I gave him the last few dollars I had. (Seriously I even held up my wallet and showed him it was my last few bills. At that time I was leaving Canada for New York and didn't think I would need them ever again.) Another man who saw this exchange came up and asked me for money, before the other guy had even left. I told him I had just given the last of my money to the other guy, and he proceeded to yell at me calling me a liar and even pushed me.

THE conclusion is obvious. If you are rich, young and healthy with no pre-existing conditions .... then the U.S. If you are average and need some social support in order to get well into the job market and pay taxes for the benefit of the next generation ... then Canada. .... and please ... do remember .... one car accident in the US and all the success may be over even with the best insurance. Lastly, if you look for a more work-to-home balanced life ... then definitely NOT the U.S.

I don't know where the figures in that table came from, but I bet that there are some shenanigans behind them. For instance, the UK personal taxation load is heavily weighted by taxes on goods, but big companies often pay very little tax themselves. It's all a big mess - the lack of transparency does not help the case for high-taxing Governments.\n\n\nLastly, considering the current governing dynasty in Canada, I could never live there. Trudeau is a nightmare totalitarian. The events of 2020+ showed some national leaders in a revealing light. Canada and New Zealand are now two countries I could never consider living in. I’ve watched the video and I’ve read many comments. My message it’s to immigrants, Canadians & everyone. Just be some patient to read for you to think reasonable after this. I’m sure you’ll start to be reasonable regarding Canada. I had a good life good job & a nice home in Ukraine. Due to the barbarian russian invasion my family & I fled the horrific situation in Kharkiv city. I was driving a mini bus of 4 families! Most are children. We’ve arrived to Europe. Crossing many countries (Poland, Czechia & Austria) we’ve arrived to the country leading the EU. In Poland & Czechia, we’re treat very good by the people. In Austria we got hardly a payed hotel where children could get a rest!!! We still didn’t understand why they don’t want to give us rooms despite we’re paying for our staying!!! In Germany, I believe that the government did its best. But the number of comers is huge! Of course many they got disappointed as happened with me! But I still understand and believe that really the government & people did theirs best. So fast I got a job! The social connection helped to introduce me to the company! But i was not hired, I still to express myself & my qualifications. The manager was understanding, so he accepted to communicate in English and to offer me the job in case if I am successful doing the job during the first week at the site. I had to change the machines menu into English. So the manager was very satisfied with my job and I got that job. The rent! You’ll get it only if you receive the blessing of each member of the county and a very strong social connections! The doctors! To make just a blood work for my son it took 45 days of waiting! To get the doctor appointment, you need that a German guy call and get you the appointment! Because when my wife called, the secretary said: we don’t speak English! But when my wife went for her visit she figured out they’re speaking English better than her!!! My son has an issue of hyperactivity, so they refused to accept him at school more than 3 hours a day! And he was excluded from the birthday parties of his colleagues aswell other events! Other Ukrainian children, they were just attending classes! Just a show! No body cares how help their integration! About, the taxes! The half of my income was going to the government! The money back?! Only 200 euros/ month for my kid. And nothing else. Nothing! To get a neurologist appointment for my son it was necessary to wait 3 months! Prices?! Everything expensive! Technology?! Not better than Canada at all. Bureaucracy, Canada is much less. Banking system, Canada much better. Where in Germany?! The best province in Germany “Munich”. Where people stoped long ago dreaming to purchase a home. Guys, Canada doesn’t through broken people as we were in camps! Where nothing is human there! Canada doesn’t enter you in cercle of hell bureaucracy just to get your kid into school! And if he needs a support he get it right away without any background that he’s not our!!! I got a good job in Canada; so fast. Without any social connections because simply I do not have any. I rent an apartment for my family, without to proof to the landlord that I’m the best guy in the world with a witnessed county about that!!! I want you to be sure, that I am not the lonely case. Just ask Ukrainians stied in Europe for a while before they move recently. Just ask them. I am not saying it’s a paradise or cons don’t exist. Just paradise doesn’t exist! And cons are everywhere. Just I want you to be fair about Canada. Please, be reasonable! The cons in Canada are not catastrophic, and it’s not difficult to fix them. It may take some time, but not difficult. When I was a child, my best friend's father was an engineer and a Negro. However, most Negroes in America Who make good wages are in the trades, which top out to about 45,000 to $50,000 a year. Which matches perfectly with your estimate of what Blacks make Canada. A crime against Blacks is extremely rare in America because they are a large minority, but this does not mean that hate crimes against poor Blacks are rare. Because crimes against the poor and my country are quite common. So I was surprised to see that Blacks, in general, are at the top of the hate crime list, and I find this unfortunate.

After studying the issue, and having lived in other countries I see now how Canada differs from every other OECD country. \nIt’s a rationed, inefficient govt monopoly. \nPublic sector: Only 1 medical insurance provider: Provincial Medicare. Other countries allow NON profit competing insurance providers to “simulate” free markets and provide healthy competition. Allows more choice and keeps administrative bloat at a minimum. \n\nPrivate sector: allow a fully functioning for profit private sector (for those that want a non-govt choice)Again, allows a 2nd employer, more choice and healthy competition. \n\nI cannot wait for the Supreme Court of Canada to hear the Cambie case and break up the Monopoly. Because essentially, the Govt owns their citizens bodies!\n\nFrasier Institute just released a 2022 study: family of 4, making 150k will pay $16,000/year or 12,000 usd for healthcare. Here, in the states our family pays $7,000- for preferred provider, dental, vision and fast access to everything. \nNot an advocate of the States’s system, but Canada could definitely emulate the best systems in the world which all don’t allow such a Govt monopoly.\nThe leftist ideology that is so against free markets doesn’t see how they will truly help and alleviate the problems and how every other social democracy on this planet uses them.

That's so funny and true at the same time. Sadly, I was born in the falsely advertised 'Best place on Earth, 'Canada' and therefore, cannot claim asylum in any other country, so I will pass away alone in hospice with 5 other dying strangers. Luckily, I moved away just in time through the UK ancestry scheme and live my dreams with my partner I met in a home we bought in a city where I don't have to look at the price tags as I know it's already 6x cheaper than Canada! However, there's a catch in that you can only go back as far as your grandparents to use the Ancestry Escape Pod, so if your grandparents were born in Canada I wish you all the luck and who knows, maybe you'll eventually merge with the USA and freedom and happiness is yours. Life is better on the outside. I moved 15yrs ago and never look back. I calculated a week to visit my siblings in Canada costs the same as 6 months worth of mortgage payments (my share).
