Our children born in Canada needs jobs, they finished University, colleges, technologies they graduated they cannot get a job. Where are the jobs for these Canadian .Children got their degrees?

At the end of the day the main issue is the Government used Indian students to supplement the economy at the expense of the Canadian citizens. Now in 2024 the Trudeau liberals still refuse to pause it because of the economic impact it will have on their corporate friends and the schools. They also subsidize immigrant students which incentivises businesses to only hire Indian students. Canadians can't find affordable housing or a minimum wage job and Indians are paying the price. I feel bad saying it because I'm not a racist but I don't want anymore Indians, or any immigrants at all, here unless they fill a vital need in the economy. We simply no longer have the housing or jobs and it's as simple as that. Enough is enough.

To undo the damage, we'll need to be deporting massive numbers of TFWs and the government will need to pay back the millions of Canadians for the economic damage inflicted by HCOL over the past 3-5 years.

Justin, stop the charade. Large majority of Canadians have told you over and over you need to cancel carbon tax immediately. That is the only possible way for your party to escape the wrath of voters. You will retain about 25 seats if carbon tax is cancelled. If carbon tax remains, you might just get a few seats and lose party status.

The problem of Canada not being able to sustain itself is not the fault of anybody but Canadians. You dont MAKE anything here. Not even stuff you need! The program requires that the exact job be placed on the Canadian job bank for 1 month with no valid applications. Jobs are under minimum wage but are supplemented with housing. Now living in a mobile home 3 men to a bedroom making 13/h for 40 or more hours a week might not sound like a good job to you but it still needs to be done if you dont want the price of food to go up even more

So no new houses being built, just removing future Canadians who might need them later.

Love immigration but hate tax funded Temp workers . Bad deal for Temp workers and very bad deal for Canada. Young people , seniors who needs a few hours to make ends meet, people living outside cities, adults returning to work , uneducated but hard working folks , disabled people and others are unable to find work . In the old days people would worry about jobs being outsourced overseas and now the work still being outsourced to Temp workers . This in turn ,is worsening the homeless problems throughout Canada. There is no such thing as jobs that Canadian people ( young and old )will not do and its not true that there is not enough workers ( skilled or otherwise) in Canada . The Canadian government needs to work for its people and not use failed economic models that increase profit for companies. All sectors should have restricts not just a few .

In-hand earnings for skilled expats viz. students, temporary workers and working holiday visa holders is lower in Canada compared to the US …the only attraction factor/appealing end-result for expats including potential PR applicants is the probability of a PR visa and the cost/effort needed to obtain PR. Unless there is potential for a PR visa, no international students will bother to enrol at Canadian universities. Simple!

I feel bad for those who were duped into coming here to Canada. They had big dreams of becoming successful here, instead not being able to do that and being forced to live in cramped accommodations. I work in healthcare, and a lot of people who work in the facility in which I'm employed were brought here from the Philippines and India, mostly. Some were hired directly by this employer, while others came here some other way. Those with professions like being an RN were under the impression that it wouldn't take that long or be that difficult to get their Canadian certification to work as RNs here. Instead, they found out that the process for that here in Canada is a lot tougher and takes a lot longer than they'd been led to believe. So many are left not being able to use their education to its fullest, instead working as care aides until they can get the proper certification. I know that this has also happened with doctors and engineers and to many in other professions for which they went to school for years. It's a real shame.\n\nThis massive influx of people coming from other countries, though, has been really tough on those of us who were already living here. It's been way too many people, and we just weren't prepared. It's been one of the biggest factors in the huge increase of cost of living and, of course, it's by far the reason we have an enormous housing shortage.\n\nI'm not completely anti-immigration, but I think that it needs to be stopped, at least for a while. Let us deal with what's going on now instead of bringing in more people that would only help to make things worse, through no fault of their own. There's no reason that we need to have more people coming here right now. We have way more than enough people here right now.

I am from India and been living in Canada for 18 years. I am living here with my family and I am so grateful to this country and respect the country and the freedom I have. The thing is homelessness is a fact that is coming from the most broken families. And here cannabis legal. I could see most white peoples don’t want to go to work, even there is enough work for them. And as a country to grow, they need youngsters for the workforce, but unfortunately Canadians people don’t have enough kids to support the country. And the kids are grown from the broken families maybe ending up in the streets. Indians are most of them only marry once and keep their marriage life till the end. So many divorce can ruin the life too. So the students coming here in Canada, how they get visa, Government don’t know that. We can’t blame them, because this is the offer they get from here. \nBut even though I am from India, I have enough from Indian people here in Canada. I always questioned the people from India either you guys respect the culture here or please go back. The reason I love Canada is Canadians are so pleasant and so helpful. As a Canadian its clear that immigration has got out of control. We should be accepting 1/10 of the number of incoming indian immigrants. I understand that many immigrants from India are hardworking and are good people but the behaviour of new indians are creating divisions in our society. You people need to realize that the decades of trust and reputation you have built as a collective is now in a gutter and ruined. My neighborhood has a silent agreement in place that we dont rent or sell to immigrants and we have practically 0 crime. Meanwhile other neighborhoods in our city allow immigrants and are much more dangerous.

Before coming to this amazing country in 1990. I had tried living in Germany and the United States but nothing was much opportunistic about the Northern Canadian Territory. As a refugee, there were no better choice but now the lack of accountability with realestate and common day actions, makes me think that the country is another Banana republic and needs to counter corruption on the way the system runs unfortunetly to say.

Canada must repeat what it did in the 1930's and the 1940's. Canada needs to bring 5 million immigrants from Eastern Europe, like Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Macedonia etc. Just look at the Eastern Europeans in Canada, they and their Canadian born children and grandchildren have learned and speak the English language fluently. I am a third generation Canadian. I have seen the transition from my childhood to present in this country and trust me. This country is officially a shit hole. I am a Serbian and Canadian living in Canada for the last 24 years. I love \nthis country I respect this country but my God is so much different than it used to be or it is me. This summer I went with my kids and wife to 6 different countries in Europe Eastern Europe and Central and have seen 2 alcoholic then I come to Canada I see thousands of drug addicts on the street. everything is overpriced ppl do not enjoy in here. When I came in 2000 Serbian economy was low due to the war now it is better and Canadian economy is worse so the gap is very small. you need to make 6000$ to live just ok and I do live well but there is always but. I call it a pressure cooker, I wish all Canadian travel abroad a bit just to realize that they were lied too and that there's a lot of bs. I can give you an example: Condo in Belgrade same size property tax is 200$ per year condo in Qc Gatineau 2500$ plus condo fees 400$ per month basically 7000$ wasted for what? no dr wholes on the street broken system. It will be for sale. I agree paying taxes on my house where I live but for rental property when you deduct all the expenses you invested so much money without any profit. the one that works and the one that scams the system make the same amount of money and we live approx the same. something is wrong there. I will live for many years to come but definitely not spending my whole life here due to many circumstances and expenses. Family values are getting killed and I have issues with that. The more I was pushed to change the more I went to church and believed in old fashioned traditional values. Spending Canadian taxpayers on foreign aid when there are so many needs in Canada. For example $100 million to Haiti,$100 million to Hamas. If anything we should send these areas seeds, shovels, buckets and some\n lumber & chicken wire. They will be busy growing their own food, and will not have time for rioting in Haiti or digging tunnels and firing off rockets into Israel by Hamas.
