I hear ya. Im from North Dakota and we get a lot of Canadians from Manitoba that come down to shop and whatnot and I have not spoken to one Canadian that is optimistic about Castro Trudeaus Communistic Canada.

Unless you are extremely rich, it is getting nearly impossible to live a 'good' life here in Canada. The cost of everything keeps going up and up yet the wages don't, and the jobs are beginning to disappear too. I just don't see any future here for myself and I'm making plans to leave also in 3 to 4 years from now.

No where is perfect! What i can tell you is that ?? is waaay better. \nYou can move like this because you are a content creator hence you dont need to be in Canada to make money so i hope people dont get mislead!!!

In Canada they have little toy schoolhouses you can burn down on some holiday (can't remember which) and you can form dykes in your backyard and pour in water in the winter to make your own ice skating rink. That's about it. Oh yeah, they have moose. But you can't get a gun to shoot them. Average home cost $700,000? --I'm not moving to Canada, no matter how much I can ice skate in my yard.

The middle class has never had it good. A very small group of people do really well in life (due to TONS of different factors) and the rest not so much. It's been like that from the dawn of humanity. I grew up in the 90s in Canada, and everyone in these types of videos is acting like middle class people back in the day were living this baller, lavish lifestyle travelling the world and driving luxury cars. Ha! They were clipping coupons, and ordering whatever the special was whenever they went out to family restaurants. They drove Dodge Caravans, and lived paycheck-to-paycheck. I was one of them, as were my friends growing up. I was lucky enough to find something that helped me get out of all that. Sad reality of the world is and has always been, the rich can enjoy life and the rest take what's given to them. I'm not saying that's good, but it is what it is.

It's almost irreparable the damage done by Trudeau to Canada and its citizens, but keep fighting to get rid of this vermin for the sake of your children's future.

The ONLY way you're going to enjoy life in Canada is if you are wealthy! Anything other than that means you are a stressed slave, locked inside a prison corporate system, while paying through the nose for your own slavery i.e. insanely high rent for a roof over your head, a car that gets you to your slave job, and ridiculously high food prices. If you like stress, slavery and the idea of never getting ahead than Canada is for you! It's a live to work/ slave country.

The official business in canada and police station are a joke i just last week went to get a criminal check to do uber and i oaid 250$ just to get a criminal check background but thats not all the way i was treated from the workers was dissturbing been living in this countru for over 14 years and never i have felt that type of discrimination as i did at york region police checks . For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. The difference is that you too in the ROC are being drowned. I am a Quebec nationalist, it’s in my guts. My family has roots going back to New France. Since for me this place is where I feel the most a part of and have understood long ago that the ROC had done everything to negate us as a people a nation and the dream of an independent country with close ties to the ROC is and probably never was in the cards, I have started hoping for some kind of political union with mother France since it has become painfully clear that Canada as a strong bicultural self respecting truly independent country is a bygone notion. Just look at our military, it’s a monumental farce. Look at the insane levels of immigration, we cannot support this!! PERIOD!!! Look at way we genuflect to the US’s economic visions without questioning anymore. The Quebec people are a nation, Canada unfortunately is only a notion. For me getting out of Canada is also a reality except since this place never was one of a cash cow there only to send funds to some family elsewhere I believe we Québécois and Québécoise, with the respect for the First Nations that we have always owed them, need to go our way. I'm very curious where you're moving to! I was living in the UK for a few years, and then Ireland. I moved back home to Canada two years ago. I'm glad I came home, life is getting very difficult there too, and I get to spend more time with my family. I'm actually doing better financially now in Nova Scotia. We just left Canada 2 weeks ago. Now we’re in the US. Canada has gotten worse for the last few years or decades according to some. When we applied for Canada, all the prosperity was promising. It was like second or third option behind the US and UK. And now, after 7 years, we have decided to really act and do what’s best for our family and the future of our kids. The main reasons why we left Canada, it’s the high and doubled taxes, the very slow healthcare, you get to start to zero despite your decades of managerial experience, they don’t honor your diploma cuz they have their own standard even if your education or work is US standard, the housing and rentals are skyrocketing. Imagine if the rentals are increasing every year by $50-150 is insane. It’s just so inhumane. Back in my birth country in the Philippines, if you’re poor or low income family..the government don’t tax you. You get a high percentage of healthcare assistance and you also get some free social services including monthly allowance from the national government and another separate assistance from the local government. Canada is beautiful if you have money with all the good and kind people around, but the expenses, it’s gonna kill your pocket.

Canada is suffering a massive brain drain in the skilled trades as well. This has a subtle impact on companies, because they end up taking longer to complete projects, and costs are higher, as less competent people are having to get the projects done.

First step in bringing Canada back into shape is to get rid of the clowns running the federal governement. Vote wisely in 2025.

We had not communicated in a long time BUT... I think you were surprized how much you enjoyed to exploration of Russia a few years ago but quality of life was very good then but even better now, but retaining the unmatched access to culture, very low cost of living much lower crime rate than Canada/US/Europe, and cost of living about 1/10th of Canada, great health and easy to get a residency and citizenship due to being from Ukraine originally. For your travels, it is a little more complicated due to US sanctions but from here in St Petersburg it is really easy to travel by bus to Estonia and fly anywhere in the world. Estonia is the cheapest cost of living in the Baltic. I have flown to California several times using that route and to London the flight is $50 euros. \nAlthough you explored a lot here there is so much more to see and experience.\nThere is no doubt the western countries that relied on cheap labor and resources from colonies are all in a downward spiral and the east is rising. All the BRICS countries have positive growth in quality life and economic growth and a total of 108 countries have either applied or expressed serious interest in joining the largest trade block in history while the US empire fades at an accellerating rate. I would not go back the the crime, homelessness, anger, poverty of the US but have family business to take care of every 4-5 years. The decline is not a temporary downturn, the banking collaps that is accelerating now and impossible to pay back debt, it is really sad to see how the US is turning out. When growing up in California we had everything , really the golden state but is a wreck now. Canada is like my country Sweden. It was nice but now so much worse! High tax and you get nothing. High crime and drogs. I blame the goverment and The leaders.

The power of our canadian passport is regressing. During COVID I had to use my Mexican passport to enter Korea as they weren't letting Canadians in due to a small political spat, I get e-visa when entering Egypt which Canadians don't get and about 6 months ago I had to apply for an Indian visa using my Mexican passport again because India blocked Canadians from applying. This was understandable as Canada had a diplomatic spat with India but it was NOT understandable that we didn't block off Indian visa applications at the same time. We are essentially letting others walk all over us. also the embassy services for Canadians are absolutely god damn terrible and feels like I have to beg them to actually do their damn job.

Scottish Canadian here. I left canada 20 years ago, for Asia, and have never moved back. I go home (southern Ont) for holidays and am shocked at what the country has become. Currently riding out life in Thailand and love it. If you can get out, and won't regret it, you should try. Canada is absolutely shocking now as a (post) nation.

I travel for living across Canada, and I have seen how even small towns have changed over the last decade. High crime and excessive immigration are just a few things. We have no one to blame but our current Prime Minister. How quickly our beautiful country changed. I lived in Ottawa all my life, but currently living and working in a small remote area in the Northwest Territories. Because I am a licensed, healthcare professional, It is not easy for me to work in another country and it will definitely mean a huge salary cut, but I am considering doing this as I am no longer feeling happy living in Canada. While many countries have changed due to global factors, many changes in Canada can be traced back to the policy issues and politics (all levels of gov but especially federal gov). That includes: 1) mass immigration (at a time when we have a housing crisis and most of ppl living here cannot afford a place (to buy or rent)), 2) crime - this is directly related to changes introduced by the federal liberals, 3) drugs - federal liberals again, 4) housing crisis - all levels of gov - most of people in Canada cannot afford a place to buy or rent - what kind of country are we???, 5) economy (GDP/capita has been decreasing for 2 yrs now, investment per worker has been stagnant or decreasing, productivity) - our economy is real estate, education and public sector, 6) deficit/fiscal irresponsibility - all levels of gov but federal liberals are exceptionally good at this. We are a mess.

Same story, also moved to Canada(French Canada!!! :D) when I was 4, I'm 32, been in Canada like 24 years. Easy fit, my Dad was Canadian, so got Naturalized easily. I left Canada at the end of 2020. Mostly because of Covid/Work Opportunities in engineering. Now living in the USA with my Canadian Wife and visiting Canada 2 months every year, also happen to be born American, so again, easy(easier**, still hard) move for me. Currently working in engineering, less travel experience, but I did get to visit or work for long period of time in 5 countries. Anyway, I do have similar opinion, I think the solution is a federal housing initiative. We NEED to build north and have more cities than Toronto,Montreal & Vancouver. It would reduce rent & mortgage by a lot. Essentially solving the ''where are we going to put all those immigrants issue'', then secondly, we need to encourage entrepreneurship and business a lot more. We need more jobs and be less reliant on our USA neighbors or EU neighbors 3. Better transport, surprisingly a lot of Canadian don't visit all other Canadian province and prefer traveling out , hell, I want nothern Canada & Nothern Quebec to be more like Alaska, or make it easier from someone from Quebec to move to Alberta, but still easy enough to visit family and friends in their home state in under 3 hours. ;)

Good luck with finding a new place to live, at least for a while. I don't recommend coming to the US, because we're just as much in the dumps as what I've seen on Canada (better in some and worse in others), and until we get our act together, and that's totally on us, then you should try a different place.

People cannot wait to move here from other countries. But it's not because we are getting better, it's because there countries are getting worse. It's hard for someone from Canada to see it get poorer, it's a really sad situation. I'm moving 6 months out of the year to another country, just to get away from it all.

You don't really have to sugar coat it. Canada WAS a great place to live but it's just not anymore. That's why you're leaving. And let's be clear that this is fault of Liberals in power. They now try to paint Conservatives as the radicals, but it's them who radically changed this country in just 9 years. And they're not finished. Conservatives subscribes to the norm that made this country great in the first place, they're not interested in radical departure from what Canada used to be. That's current Liberals. And NDP. So, everyone that convinced me to go to Canada is now leaving the country, including my fellow Hispanic YouTubers ... and I'm barely starting my journey, this just leaves me concerned instead of excited and it really makes me sad to be saying that, hopefully those who will go through the hard times in Canada will also get rewarded, and remember amigos, when in Canada, behave as Canadian.

Justin Trudeau and the liberals have destroyed this Country. I was born and raised in Canada in a town in Ontario along one of the Great Lakes Lake Erie. My parents and even their parents were born and raised in that same area I am from and Canada was a great place but since Justin Trudeau become PM everything started to change and not in a slow unnoticeable way it was fast. Drugs and homelessness started to become a thing something I have never seen in my life and even my neighbourhood and town started to change too with people that don't speak english and wait times in the ER started to be so much longer and even finding a doctor when I moved to the city was impossible to get. I have not traveled much only in a car or truck and never been on a airplane but I am considering moving out of Canada too. I am going to wait and see what happens in the election and see if things begin to charge before I leave the only place I know and start new somewhere else. I have been thinking of Southeast Asia like Laos or Thailand because there Canadian funds are worth something and you can live and at for very cheap and get a very nice place for half or less of what rent is here.

Since my mother was German when I was born, I just recently found out that I'm also a German citizen from birth through descent through my mother. I've been living here in the US since high school when I moved from Victoria to Tucson, Arizona. I eventually got my US green card (permanent residency. I then moved to Madison, Wisconsin and became a US Citizen. At this point, I am a dual US and Canadian citizen in addition to being German citizen as well. I am applying for my confirmation of German citizenship through the German consulate in Chicago which would then allow me to obtain a German passport for access to live and work freely in EU and Schengen countries. I went to The Netherlands last January and I really feel in love with the Dutch culture and lifestyle. I am planning on spending at least a few years there as soon as I get my German passport. \nMy relatives in Canada keep telling me how lucky I am to be a US Citizen as they all say how terrible the situation has become in Canada. I am surprised since I've always considered Canada to be one of the top places to live in the world. I haven't lived in Canada for a long time and I've been doing relatively good here in the USA. Yes I agree. I just got my dual citizenship from my natural parents and now I’m waiting for husband’s application. Once hopefully he gets approved are out of here!! Canada is not how it use to be and it’s only honing to get worse. So Sad ..
