Canada brought in 1 million immigrants from Jan 2021- Dec 2023, a 2.5% population increase. That, would be the equivalent of 8.75 million immigrants coming across the southern border over 2 years. It is happening both ways, USA and Canada. For 8 years, migrants have entered USA from its southern border, prob. from Central America, then bussed to New York, then put into taxi's at New York and driven at Roxham Road into Canada. We don't need them in Canada either. Last I heard, Roxham Road has been closed. Only way to bring sanity back to the way it once was is to elect Trump in USA and Pierre Poilievre in Canada where migrants will be sent back to their places of origin.

Why are people so upset about it? I personally don't see the problem. It's not like our government has ever cared about anything or anyone, only dollars and free, or close to free, labor.

I have no sympathy for that NY mayor, he was buying migrants bus tickets to Plattsburgh knowing full well they were going to walk across the border. As a Canadian that lives close to the border.. ( BC ,Peace Arch crossing ) Those people that got kicked out of Canada must go back to where they came... Trump needs to close all borders with executive decision, shift the National Guard and Homeland Security resources to the northern border, beef up border patrol at the southern border, and institute Stay In Mexico and Stay In Canada policies with both the heads of those countries. If they will not comply drop 100% tariffs on them. Open unfettered asylum to America is over.

We have them here in Queens. I donate to the Salvation Army and i see them there, picking up stuff which is then recorded by the S. A person and the government subsidizes the Salvation Army. There is also an area close by which they fenced off and covered the fence so you can’t see inside but i caught a glimpse of what is going on there.
