The Can gov was foolish to allow Mexicans visa free travel which has been stopped. Ran for some years. Indian always needed a visa and have seen reports that is now being scaled back some are even being turned away from boarding their final flights from transit points on multi leg flights like London / Qatar etc and at Indian airports on direct flights. International students get 3 years of work permit after studies. Skilled students get a job in their profession, gather enough points for PR, and get the Permanent Residency. Students with no/less skills don't qualify for PR and they have to leave. This has been the law since always and hundreds of students return back home upon expiry of their temporary status in Canada, but now students from Punjab, India with no professional skills, want to get PR by protesting.

My family came from Canada from India over 100 years ago we came over here legally we tried to assimilate I think what really bothers me now is that these new international students are giving all of us a bad name most of them cheat on their English exams back in India, and this is a known fact most of them can’t speak English and hence why they fail the colleges here expecting to be passed automatically. they work over 40 hours a week illegally and lie about it The government is subsidizing international students but they are taking jobs away from our students. We paid taxes my entire life and my son applied for over 100 jobs and got nothing because every single job is taken over by international students they are they are abrasive. They are entitled, they cannot seem to understand how assimilation works. They are so entitled and they feel they can protest out in the streets when they dont get PR. They came on a student visa and were expected to go home. They are now complaining and protesting at this point they all need to be sent home because this is ridiculous, PR should be handed out as needed not automatically and right now there are so many Canadians without jobs so we don’t need more workers. I also work in healthcare most of the students or their families come in don’t have appropriate healthcare and we end up paying millions of dollars in healthcare bills because of them, we have had families come visit their international students with no healthcare having strokes costing us healthcare workers and the government over $1 million. We don’t have the infrastructure for these students to stop. The government needs to stop subsidizing. The government needs to stop handing out PR like they’re handing out candyscamin India and here charged enough is enough. I will def be writing to my politician

I think you have raised a good point, back in the days when I was at the university. Most of the indians (punjabi mostly) were entering the washroom while singing Aaja Mahi Aaja Mahi Aa Soniyave… all the white folks were stunned. You should atleast show some decency.

In the Ontario town I grew up in back in the 60's, most families had at least four children, most dads had factory jobs and most moms were stay at home moms. Most families owned modest three bedroom homes, kids played sports, had bicycles, food on the table and never felt poor. If you are under 30 today, the Canada you are in absolutely SUCKS by comparison. When I graduated high school in the mid 70's I could have got a factory job that paid 10k a year and bought a modest home for 20k. Now, in the same town, a person earning 100k needs about 800k to buy that same house. So, people under 30 are giving up on getting married, having children and buying homes. Canada, thanks to Justin Trudeau, is on its way to becoming a third world country, but without cheap food.

Students are stealing Canadian's jobs. Our kids can't even find temporary jobs these days. Trudeau has really ruined this beautiful country. Students should not be allowed to work outside of Campus and should go back after completing their studies.

Why is the increase of foreign students an issue? We have an old dying population that is a burden on the health and social systems. These kids have to pay the enormous tuitions and pay rent and taxes to survive. They contribute 10 times as much as the Canadians each year. It sounds like xenophobia at its best.
