Old mother India has out spawned its own pond..Its country CANNOT and DOES not offer a future to its people. Thats a failure by any normal standards. What gets me is, just how many millions have just arrived in other countries in the world. Their numbers and communities exported and imported so solidly everywhere. Within 2 years here in the uk, I am sure there are now, somehow more Indians here than ALL the other groups put together. Its astounding to see the indigenous and others be outnumbered by one group (south Asian continentals) in such s sudden and impactful way. With these movements Politics change, voter types, the , the shared future vision, shared cultural norms, etc resources like public transport trains, rosd traffic, shops, hospitals, public spaces are jam packed overall. No more quiet or isolated spaces, just 24hr pushing, shoving, shouting, mobile phone worship and loud speaker, conference video calling (my God this one grates my soul) destroys the respectful unspoken social and shared rule of EVERYONE else somehow, its insane! The place has no time or space to think. Blink and your place has gone. In every sense: social opportunities, place in queues job opportunities(as they set up internal networks that u are excluded from) aka as smugglers and their smuggled, housing bidding, corrupting of housing laws, benefit fraud all massive problems for local authorities and larger government overall. Under clearer terms and better conditions and planning Im with migration as a theme. Mass intinction to enable mass migration lol maybe less so!! Good luck to us all, we need it. Most of zs just trying to make a living and do right by our family's and our better selves — who can really knock that ???????‍♂️

As a fully disabled Army veteran who was raised by the southern border in New Mexico, who has seen first hand what the cartels are capable of, I have been saying this was going to happen for a long while now. The cartels have already expanded their operations and even the head of the DEA confirmed this, they are in every major US city. They have been growing like this since the first day Biden took office, and Tommy G's interview with one of the coyotes confirmed this months ago. The cartels are exploiting this country's weaknesses in seeing this as a political issue when it's concerns our nation's national security. It's going to have impacts for this country for years or even decades to come, and knowing what I do from where I grew up it's going to be really bad for a lot of innocent naive people.

As a Canadian I can say I did not know about this and I'm so so sorry our dumb, terrible dictator is doing this to your country. As Canadians we used to be able to trust that our government would bring in families and refugees and Canadians could feel secure and confident that we were helping. Our country was committed to kindness and helpfulness. Now, they're doing this. They're importing young-middle aged men who take jobs from locals and they give them tens of thousands in cash handouts, they steal our housing and give it up to these people who only want to colonize us. These people do not want our help, they want our stuff and it's heartbreaking to see Canadians grow spiteful and resentful. We are not losing our kindness, it is being stolen from us.

I've been saying this all while everyones eyes have been on our southern borders that why isn't anyone looking at our northern borders as they have to be just as bad if not worse. Distrackting everyones eyes from the norrh as everyone looks south is the most mind blowing by DC.qnd all our Politicans. Not one Politican even brought this up with all their rants about the southern borders. Are they all that stupid or is this all a plan by both partys. If our country really needs workers then where are all these jobs for all these immigrants and why not make a faster system to make them legal and more judges to have their hearings for Asylum seekers and Refugees to see if they even qualify. Love how they can get help honestly I do but it is not fair to everyone else specially the families that were born here and needed help for years already. I'm from Eastern Canada and its absolutely unreal how many Indians I see around. Not a single business have I gone to in months that doesn't have multiple Indians working there, or just Indians. You'd swear they were like 50% of the population. It's crazy what its doing to jobs for locals, both post secondary and not. Let alone housing. Its insane to be in an engineering field with colleagues still living with their parents in their late 20s and early 30s. \n\nI'm very worried for the future political discourse and social cohesion for this country in decades to come if the majority of immigrants that have been brought in are not deported. I've never seen so much crime in my Province in my entire life. About 5 homicides alone in the last month. Absolutely unheard of 10 years ago.

I have been in this country all my life and have 2 children who was born here and have college degree. Now they can't even find a job for over 4 months. I was born here and it's too difficult to pay my rent which asks me at least 2 weeks of pay. Then you have to pay for the electricity, the phone and eat. Often I eat cereal for supper. I don't have a car because I can't afford it. I'm 48 and I can't take it anymore. It's not a life, it's survival! So to foreigners who think it's better here I tell you, start by seeing what you can do to make things better in your country.

I’m Indian, born and raised in Canada. My parents came here in 1994 and they made the best decision for our future. We adjusted to Canadian culture and have respect for the country that gave us opportunity. It makes me disgusted seeing my own kind come here and make a mockery of such a good country. Unfortunately, those who will leave are those who are highly skilled because they have other options and see we are a sinking ship. The people who will stay will be low-skilled, and will do so because living in a first world country that is slowly becoming a third world country is still better than living in the actual third world. And our generous welfare state will enable this decline on the backs of the working-class.

I bealive new immigrants needs to adopt Canadian Values and way of living. They see Canadá as we are so nice and stupid, taking advantage of public services. When you immigrate to a country you are curios and open to learn a new culture you are leaving your country because there is things that you don’t like and you see your self with the same values of other culture. Once you are in Canada you are evolving and adapting to new ideas, and methods of living, most important you are here to contribute to society and the economy by taking care of your self by working hard upgrading your skills, help others follow the rules. Not the opposite you don’t move to be taken care off by taking advantage of government programs, if you honestly and truly need the government help the program is there for you if not you have a moral responsibility to contribute to this country/ planet.

Why are people leaving? BEcause in the last 7 years we made a huge mistake of letting in too many people and spent less time developing ourselves and infrastructure. Way too many came and got seated in the usual big cities where things are getting worse. Right now there is a gradually increasing anti-immigrant sentiment, especially towards East Indians, Bangladeshiis and Pakistanis, and there is a worry about having existing culture turning too Islamic and Hindu. So you can often hear some pretty racist things or read some pretty racist stuff online.\n\nThe problem isn't immigration. Immigrants are amazing and we need them, but our country didn't play the long game and let in too many too fast. Right now esp[ecially for Bangladeshiis and Indians, is that ,many are coming illegally and getting a REFUGEE status, paying their own to do this who work in lawyerships [and you shoudl see the scamming being done by Indian and Bangladeshi Canadians who are just taking their former countrymen for everything they are worth!]: Canada is like a person taking on too much all at once and then resenting its choices once it becomes responsible for them. Between bad decisions and some very seedy practices by immigrants coupled with the general greed to own land....and you have a modern crisis.

As someone who was born in Canada and left, I wanted to know about some current sentiment, especially by younger people. I think you had some interesting information. I'm actually sad to hear that crime and homelessness has gotten even worse, especially in places like you mentioned, DTES. One thing I want to share with you about the housing issue. Canada acts like a Federation. Meaning that a lot of decision making is delegated to the provincial and municipal level. Yes, Canada has goals for immigration. That's a super valid goal because every developed country is going through declining birth rates. Canada wants to lessen the damage that will be felt by so many other countries like Italy, Germany, China, Japan, etc. The issue with this federated government is like you said, a disconnect between goals and readiness. However, I really feel this will never be accomplishable because of all the lobbying that occurs at the municipal level that the Federal and even Provincial level government cannot control. Yes, there may be shortages in labour to do development, but even then, I really think that lobbying and corruption is keeping adequate supply from being built. From the homeowners and the perspective of the wealthy property owners, they want to keep the valuation of housing high by keeping supply low. Why else is the municipal government keeping such archaic zoning laws? From what I could find, there has been some talk about changing this (https://bc.ctvnews.ca/b-c-to-table-housing-law-targeting-outdated-zoning-rules-1.6627260) but I struggle to see anything really being done. That's probably because of lobbying. The immigration laws set by the government had too many loopholes and flaws ultimately. I don't think we are getting enough productive immigrants. Actually, the opposite seems to occur a lot. The wealthy from the countries I mentioned are abusing the immigration policies in Canada to transfer and preserve their wealth in Canada. I think it has hid in plain sight for a long time, and people have started talked about it in the last 5-10 years because of the struggles of housing affordability from the middle class. What about the immigrants that really want to start a life in Canada and find opportunities like you said? The housing is too expensive for them to do that. Really chicken and egg problem like you mentioned. And this issue can't readily be fixed with the way Canadian government operates. Look forward to hearing your thoughts. Ironically due to the economic conditions and mass immigration, younger Canadians aren’t having children anymore due to it being hard enough to get by without any dependents. I’m in my mid 20s, lots of married friends, none will entertain the idea of kids.\n\nWhat I would prioritize changing:\nA more thorough immigration process that does not favour any country over another. And spread the people out to the smaller communities that need workers instead of turning Toronto into whatever it is. An end to the corporate alliance price fixing on things like insurance, cell phones, and air travel. Reduced taxes for your first property, but additional if you own several (a system similar to what Norway does). Reduced foreign ownership in our home real estate market (home should be for families, and not financial assets for international businesses).\n\nAnd like the video said some more darn infrastructure. In my childhood, I saw entire neighbourhoods being built in - timely fashions. Now it’s rare to see a single home under construction in my home city. Some smaller Canadian towns I know even lack potable water.\n\nWith the market so bad no one wants to build or buy which is just amplifying the issue.\n\nAnd no carbon tax. I apologize for getting political, but the last 10 years the federal government seems to be more concerned with values and foreign intervention than fiscally responsible decisions. But those moving to these aforementioned countries shouldn't be castigated and termed desperados. \n\nPeople migrate for different reasons, many in these countries especially in the gulf are there to build capacity so as to make moving to America, UK and Australia and other better European countries more affordable and assured and do so with a softer landing and so far it has worked and working out well for so many... In ottawa, they own almost all fast foods, stores, gas stations, etc. They have absolutely no customer service skils its crazy how i hate it here now..i dont recognize ottawa anymore ...i feel like a stranger in a 3rd world country. Our neighborhoods are packed, and they dont talk to anybody...at clinics we were only white ones in waiting room many times...more crimes we see the names so we know..no more housing ...etc etc etc nothing is good about it.canada is down the drain done.

For my work im in about 6 to 15 homes a day, every day, and this is all you see now. Homes packed full of immigrant families living in utter squalor, and the landlord is some dude who lives in a other city or country

As an Indian who was born and raised in Canada (immigrant parents from 1994), one of my favourite things about being a Canadian has been finding my own path as a citizen. I still love my culture but if I wanted to be in India, I would have just chose to move back. My parents came here to give me a better life and opportunity. I have fully embraced that. It frustrates me to no end when I see other Indians come here and disrespect the country that is giving them freedom. Canada isn’t your personal frat party to act like a public disturbance. I have proudly adjusted to Canadian culture and I associate with it more than I do India, and I always will. My parents didn’t give everything up and move here just for me to pretend I’m in India. \nI hate that I get lumped in with this mess sometimes.

I am currently in Waterloo, Ontario. Definitely Canada is one of the beautiful country. However, the points you mentioned in this video are infinite percent correct. Sometimes, Canadians get fed up so much of seeing Indian students and they start abusing us. It certainly is not correct. But, some students literally occupy, do parties with loud music and act as if they own the place which riles up the natives. In addition, the health care is not responsive. The doctors are so scared of loosing their license that they do not even care of other than their patients (even if some one is in emergency). This is very scary. Sometimes, I think, India is so much better in health care.

Living in Canada since 5 years and never faced any of these issues mentioned in the video. Its a beautiful country with most polite and helpful people, one of the best work culture I have seen. We recently welcomed new born baby in Canada and medical care we received was top notch. Been growing personally and professionally in this land with grace. \n\nThe only issue I see here is growing number of unqualified immigrants which doesn’t help Canada and creates stress in Current system. Its good that they are starting to take measures on quality of immigrants.

As a child from Northen Europe ?? I remember when my grandmother told me about our distant relatives living in Canada ( due to war) and how powerful, rich and fair country this is and that everyone has good life there. Now, 25-30yrs later everything has changed. Big part of Europe and Northern-America aren’t the same anymore due to mass immigration. Even my own country with only 1,3 million population ( Estonian 69.1%, Russian 23.7%, Ukrainians etc). We have taken in quite a lot ukrainian war refugees, who atleast share the same values as we do. But I still see a lot of people in the street wearing burkas and our demographic is changing. People need to stand up for theirselves and protect their countries heritage and culture or otherwise there won’t be anything left for our children. My parents/ elders fought for their right to become free country and Estonia took back it’s independence in 1991.
