most newcomers to any country struggle especially since most are not bringing in wads of cash to start a business but literally scraping in using life savings just to get here - however once here with residential status a national health care and level of income security for unemployment benefits is an added bonus which you won't get in every country regardless of residency status but refugees and others come in with no money at all as well as problems in some cases with language barriers, but as bad as everyone thinks it is the grass is not greener on the other side just because you're paying lower taxes but privatising infrastructure only makes things more expensive even when you're not taxed.... and Canada is a huge country with very limited number of tax payers such a small market would double costs for private business too - and just cos things may be cheaper you may find you don't fit as well as you thought..... and also the more you move the less time you have to settle and grow into the space you find yourself now....I've lived in 3 very different countries so I understand how difficult it is.... and how some places regardless of cost just fit better than others.... I love Toronto... but would not want to live in Vancouver or Texas for very different reasons... and don't judge a city by people who don't know how privileged they are to live in Toronto or anywhere in Canada really they should try living in India or Russia or even South Africa... places may be cheap but the lifestyle isn't worth much as a result of being failed states - even USA is falling apart road by road bridge by bridge.....of course there's hope for all of them eventually.... but if you don't like it it's probably best you leave.... if you don't want Canada why would Canada want you.... your just bringing the nation into disrepute

How about you lower taxes, axe the tax and hand out more esentives and allow canadians time to have more children there wouldn't be a problem , deport all these imagrints now and allow canada to become better through its own people,they say we have a housing crisis and want to bring in 500000 imagrints?, and they get put into hotels and get a Government check every month, thanks to us tax payers, but our veterans are living on the streets, disgraceful, help our own before others, shame on you liberals are veterans didn't fight and die in the great wars for this. Immigrating for Studies is different from Immigrating for Work and Residency. These people think they are all the same. There are different levels of intake based on how much limited resources Canada has. If you come for studies, that should be your intention. You get your education, and then go back to their country of origin. If you want to come for work or residency, apply as such and get in line behind others who use the system fairly.

I don't care about a person's race or background stop letting people into our country and help our people first. A country should come first before helping others out. If another country is under threat of invasion then help them out. Some indians are nice people but many of them are not adopting canadian culture. I have noticed they don't care about food safety or the environment doing things like pumping out the septic tanks into the storm drain on the street. Immigration numbers seem a problem because of pathetic macro economic and infrastructure mismanagement. I dislike most Liberals and NDP like every sane person but Conservative hasn't done much better in managing Ontario. \n\nWhen there is lack of business growth, when there is lack of policing, things get worse for an unemployed society. It's literally policy making weakness that makes a community a target, and divide people amongst each other. And for all the hate Indians get for living crowded (which I don't think anyone should for that matter, for life in comparison would still be better back in India), at least Indians aren't homeless, which in itself prevents a lot of them falling prey to drugs and crime. Check crime stats and you'll see the Indian community performing way better (as in less crimes) than many others.

I wanted so badly to become a Canadian but sadly, after living in Vancouver for 1.5 years, it became apparent that staying in BC would mean never being able to afford to start a business (let alone buy a house) and that making friends was not something locals were interested in doing. I discovered that Canadians were exceedingly polite and helpful to others in the community, but not friendly. The difference is someone being kind enough to return a lost wallet (with the money/cards still in it!! WOW) or phone but won't invite you to their homes, join friend groups, or social circles. Side note.. I also learned that I prefer more overt racism than the polite version experienced in Canada. At least you know where you stand with someone..

It is not just immigrants as I do not believe they are the biggest issue, Illegal immigrants for sure and that is totally on our border services/government. The bigger issue in my opinion are refugees and asylum seekers. We can not take in these massage numbers of people from war torn countries and not expect our crime raid to sky rocket. Nor can we continue to bring others of cultures that go against our believes. We have seen the drastic rise in hate, intolerance of different believes which was not here before. We simply do not have the capacity for support them in any manner when we are failing the people that live here.

Enough. Let’s help our own people first. My girlfriend has been living in canada illegal for the las 15 yrs. She was deported 10 yrs ago for working with someone else's S.I. N. after immigration was called. Immigration told my company that the only way she was able to stay at my company if they were able to pay her cash. 17 yrs later and she works for the same company for cash. Tax free. I go with her, and others to bodegas in Toronto where they cash all cheques in the back room at the end of the bodegas. No questions asked. The reason Immigration was called was because the S.I.N she was caught with had $10.000 thousand unpaid taxes over the years. And the person that let her use her card for $300 each month needed the card to go on welfare. No one had to pay the taxes. My company today is 90% illegal workers. All in hotels all over Toronto, Brampton, Mississauga you name it.

My brother professor in BC was intimidated & harassed by these Indian students when he called them out for cheating and plagiarizing in his class ... All they do is cheat, steal and rob. He was provided by protection at the University... it's not funny !!! They mean it !!\nAnd the others are trying to grab land in Alberta and Saskatchewan for their beloved Khalistan. Not Kidding.
