As an immigrant from Europe (not a country with a high level of poverty or a war), I arrived here in 2016 and I can say I love Canada, a very welcoming country. While I see lots of immigrants returning to their countries or going to other places, this country is amazing, offering tons of possibilities to entrepreneurs, business people and with a wide variety of possibilities. Yes, housing is an issue but it is in many rich countries. I also see a lot of people like me, happy about what they have and what they built. I travelled the world (Australia, Europe, Middle-East, Africa and Asia) and I can guarantee, there is no perfect place. So find the place that suits you best. Do not expect perfection. It does not exist.

12 year wait for a doctor, three months for a blood test cannot walk into a clinic since covid, have to book online, but can't book online without a doctor, check every day for an appt space- none avail. Literally NO access to medical care and in the ER after seven hours wait they misdiagnose you and fail. Surgery wait is years, and they wont give you a day or time for an appointment, they say they will call you months later to book a time and then never do. There is no longer health care in Canada. Health care is good?? Are you kidding me???? That sounds very insincere!! \nYou probably have never been to an emergency, like NYGH, where instead of the nursing staff, they have there trained jail and security guards to deal with sick people. The homes are crazy expensive. Just start from million The healthcare is not good if something were to happen to you . The thing that really pisses me off is that these illegal entries also gum up and slow down the process for legit asylum seekers and legit immigration petitioners who do obey the law. I saw a news report at the San Ysidro crossing where they interviewed a mother of three young children who had a legitimate asylum reason (which still has to be determined in court) who had been trying for over two years to enter legally. The system just didn’t have capacity because of the illegal crossings in the region taking up all of USCIS resources. This woman had no resources and was sleeping on the streets in Tijuana (not safe) trying to survive and care for her kids and she had the resolve to continue to doing things legally. \n\nPeople bitch about America being unsympathetic — what about people like this woman? You gonna say she should give up obeying the law and try to jump the border? What if you came home from work and found a homeless woman and her three kids eating out of your fridge? \n\nWalls don’t keep people out. They have doors. The migrant crisis will continue to worsen, because the countries that these folks are leaving realise if they treat them like ? they will eventually leave making their own countries more prosperous and putting the burden on others. Many organizations have a culture of meek compliance to rules, which may not make sense. Most Canadians try to avoid standing out, and standing out is likely to be seen by your boss and peers as threatening. No one wants to rock the boat.\n\nThese rules and expectations may differ substantially according to the politics and beliefs of the employer. For instance, overtime may be highly encouraged in one place and discouraged in another. But the veneer of handling things in a highly compliant and pleasant way is always there, with a hidden expectation that you will speak positively about the biases of your boss or owner. In other words, the common factor is that bosses often have fragile egos or are afraid of anything that challenges the status quo. This harms critical thinkers and innovators who often leave to the US or China, but also immigrants who have even larger barriers to working within the status quo. \n\nEven among better bosses I have had, I notice this tendency towards intense discomfort with ideas that come from outside of their direct experience. Though at least with my current boss and one other I had in the past, there is an intellectual curiosity and empathy which helps them gradually open up to unfamiliar things (and they're just awesome people in general). But I still notice this bias sometimes. It's definitely cultural.

As an immigrant who moved to Canada from India, just 3 yrs ago I can say India is affordable , medical services are also affordable and accessible, food is affordable accessible all through the night, transportation is cheaper and better. Weather is fantastic , except during the rainy season. \n\nCanada is not comparable to India, it is like ordering a plate of panipuri from a 7 * hotel and saying Bhayya pyas dhalo at the street vendor.

Plus the govt site info - mostly a lie. and yet,.they did admit Canadian tech (programs you use at work) is old, like back in the 90s and no research taking place in any area: medicine, IT, etc..........nada (it was in the news 1, 2 yrs ago).\nCanada is all about serving your customer and serving your boss, serving the banks (bills, etc) - and if you're dumb enough to get a credit line....... you're .........f'ed.. nada mas.

No surprise there, \n\nCanada is NOT attractive to migrants anymore due to multiple reasons.\n\nSoon a 1 bedroom apartment will probably cost 5000$/month for rent in the Major Cities making it impossible to settle here for newcomers.\n\nThe healthcare system has serious problems due to a lack of Doctors and Nurses who left for better paying jobs in US or Europe.\n\nIf you need immediate Specialist care you will probably have to pay hundreds of dollars just to see someone in the Private sector because the Public Health System has huge waiting lists and is understaffed.\n\nYou won’t be able to get a Government Family Doctor because the remaining ones have thousands of patients already so they’re swamped.\n\nYou can wait even 10 years for a Family Doctor and still won’t get one.\n\nYou can’t be bumped up on waiting lists for Doctors or Specialists even if you are in a critical condition because you aren’t a Celebrity / Politician / Millionaire.\n\nOnly those with a lot of money, status, power get immediate medical attention in case of an emergency.\n\nMost of the traditional medical costs like and eye exam, treating an ingrown toe nail, Physiatrie treatment are NOT covered by the Provinces anymore so you will have to pay out of pocket hundreds of dollars again.\n\nSome Provinces are already copying the US healthcare system which is 100% Private and for profit so don’t be surprised if you you’re gonna have to pay even for an infusion.\n\nThe minimum wage is only 15$/hour in most provinces when in reality you need at least 40$/hour to survive the ridiculous cost of living.\n\nYour typical salary will go 45% to taxes and 45% to rent leaving almost nothing for food / bills / gas / insurance etc. \n\nYou will struggle to make ends meet and possibly starve a week or two every month just to say that you’re “Canadian” \n\nThat is the sad reality but Canada is in a deep hole right now.\n\nUK is in a similar situation too.

This is not the same Canada, we came to, it has changed and believe me changed for worse. Every place is crowded still liberals say we need more immigrants. I want to ask them what incentives liberals are offering for new parents, on top of that planned inflation by government is making life of common Canadians bizarred. If someone protests then govt brings policies like SOGI123 to make sure every Canadian becomes gay or lesbian, they are inducing puberty blockers in young children to suppress natural growth. What future you expect when country in such stupid hands? There is no doubt why the citizenship application number went down, no wonder who wants to come and stay in uncertainty, May it social or political. Worse conditions for seniors whose pensions are not able to cope up with rising inflation… sad!

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become the North Korea of the western world.\n\nTheir are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.

Really they sell a dream, as britishers are institutionalized THIEF, that mean they theft other country resources but using policies and rules. In the same way Canada under rules and regulation want a cheap labour/ robots, whom they can use it as much as possible. My life in India was far better than Canada.\n\nPART 2....... Now you say why do not i come back then, reason because I have spend 25 lakh rupee in education to have good life, but now i am working like labour to earn those 25 lakhs money and when i earn i can come back and live with my family. Re Indian students as a former teacher I have to also say that many Indian students coning here are lacking the basics. I also found that students educated in US states like Florida and Texas were around two grades behind. Many Indian studenrs here have high expectations but poor background and inadequate English language skills. It is a shame that people are getting into Canada with false documentation and credentials. Also they are enrolling in very dubious schools and it is no surprise that they find life here very difficult. Hopefully the Canadian government will take greater care to see that only suitable candidates are allowed to come to Canada as students. Also students from other countries should avoid coming here if they don't really have sufficient skills and should make sure that they are choosing reputable educational institutions. There are lots of private institutions with fancy names. Don't be fooled.

He can't even hear what he is saying and the implications of it, where he describes you have to live in certain places with like minded people otherwise what, all the negatives. Insular racist etc etc.
