I left Canada finally after many many years of debating for myself. It’s the best thing I ever did. I have a really good job, that pays me more than three times my monthly overhead. After literally struggling in Canada for 30+ years as an adult trying to keep a job amongst colleagues that hate you for everything that I was and wasn’t, had and didn’t have. I’m very happy that I left and can go to work peacefully everyday, without needing to feel like I’m a piece of crap that doesn’t have the right to exist. I came to Canada at age 12 with my parents. And was always called names, always under minded, overlooked, put down, bullied and never had a single job that also contributed to my pension. When I left Canada, immigration Canada emailed me daily for three months telling me to come back to Canada IMMEDIATELY lol. Because my home country wasn’t safe enough to live in. I’m from Belgium. It’s much safer, friendlier, empathic and prosperous than Canada ever was

As an immigrant in Canada, this countries infrastructure simply isn’t built for the progression it’s tried to achieve, hence the failure. I’m leaving in December to go back home as even though I earn really great money, it’s just simply not the lifestyle reflected by what I put in.

I'm Canadian born and raised. My grandparents came from England after WW2 for a better life and sadly the Canada that they immigrated to is long dead. \n\nThe lack of opportunity and the insane policies of the federal government has severely decimated the quality of life in Canada. I wanted to start a family and own a home, nothing huge or extravagant, just something to call my own and all of that seemed impossibly out of reach to me. I had a somewhat well-paying job and lived within my means and I could not seem to get ahead. I didn't own a large or new vehicle, rarely ate out and would always try to buy used. Still, I could barely save or invest anything. \n\nNot wanting to live in a place that just wants me to be poor, lonely and unhealthy I pulled the trigger and left for Eastern Europe. I have no regrets and while it has been a difficult and stressful process, it has been well worth it.

Running a Youtube channel is hardly adding a lot of value to a country. For a better standard of living try training for a high skill occupation.

I feel for them, I really do, war is a terrible thing, I have been in a few, but it is Not the fault of the countries that are Swarming too, that said, I would rather have people like this, Families, much more than the Fighting age Single men that are Flooding into our country, they are building an Army in Great Britain, & the Second they have the numbers we will see just what a great many people have been trying to tell the government they are doing, Great Britain has a fight on its hands, & hopefully we will be victorious, this is a Battle we must Not lose, our Children's future depends on it.

We don't have enough for Canadians while trying to provide for new people to come in and pay such a high cost of living. Newcomers are taking jobs from Canadians in huge numbers. These competitions aren't provided resources for our Canadians, while bringing loads of people.

I agree with you leaving. I am a 3rd generation retired Canadian who used to be proud to be so. Now I am not, in fact I am embarrassed to say I am Canadian as it is nothing to be proud of. I think of how good things were in the 70's and 80's while I was young and now how bad things are today and it is truly depressing. Back then if you are willing to work, you could make a decent living, buy a car, a house and raise a family - today, good luck with that. The people in the west have had no say in the faulty governments we have had as Ontario and Quebec have put the final nails in our coffin when they elected that buffoon JT for a third consecutive term and then the NDP kisses his butt to join up and torture us more when most sane Canadians did not ask for this. JT is truly an embarrassment for this country although the US is in step with comatose Joe. I feel sorry for the kids and many others that are trying to survive, make a living and buy houses. Reverse discrimination has been at play for 20 years or so but is really out of control these days when a white Canadian kid that has got 5 yr honours degree in University has trouble finding a job today because you are the wrong colour. Our national anthem was changed a number of years back for no good reason. Immigrants are being imported by this idiot called our PM and handed out living accommodations, jobs and our hard earned $$ that he stole from us while our own people fall deeper into the quagmire. Many of these immigrants are bringing their hatreds and views with them to are country and are causing chaos. We are heavily taxed for driving our cars and heating our houses on FALSE pretenses with the govt saying it is to save the world - nice try - BS. The government and schools are pushing the alphabet children protocol per the WEF. These are just a few things that are wrong with this country that is sinking quicker than the Titanic. Everything this country stood for is now gone. It is so obvious to anyone that doesn't consume the main stream medias programming what is going on here (and when you do look at it you see how ridiculous what they report, how they report, they are no longer reporters but merely reading the scripts they have been handed by the powers that be) , however there are far too many people with their faces in their phones that are zombies today which is what the governments want. He literally blocked a bill from being passed that would have supplied the border with THOUSANDS of border protection agents. Oh, but that's fake news right? As a white male could I migrate to another country and request politcal asylum; because if you think about it this Canadian government oppresses white males and some females with their employment equity DEI laws, mass Asian immigration, and cheap temp foreign labour. Gosh I've been in Canada for 14 years. Trying to do everything by the book when it comes to immigration. Came here as a student, graduated from engineering 8 years ago and now working in the aerospace sector. I can't even become a Canadian citizen until Quebec lets me to do so, and I got big dreams such as flying for the military here. Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

I am asian guy. It's been 32 years in Canada and I never had a girlfriend in Canada ?. Now I gave up meeting someone in Canada. Feeling lonely though at times, but I think Canada is still a good country to live. Definitely more opportunities here than places like Argentina, South Korea, etc. I go to Walmart to save money on groceries. Problem is I do feel lonely here, so in the future maybe I will try South East Asia to meet a girlfriend when I am older ?

Most of the problems listed do exist in several countries.\nIf you are an immigrant in a country for work focus just on that and try to move out when you are done. (Due to declining population Germany isn't prioritizing such people)\nIf you are an immigrant and planning to settle in the country for good then you need to invest and learn their system, culture etc..\nIts not easy or pleasant at first but you need to go through that for your future in that country.\nStop complaining and make the best out of it.

I saw a movie once where this guy wouldn’t come out of the building he was in. The authorities tried talking with him, negotiating, cajoling him etc etc. finally they sent in a robot with 20 pounds of C4 strapped to it. Guy refused to leave, refused to leave, refused, refused…. Then let me tell you about Ukraine my Ukrainian lady, I lived back home for 30 years and moved to Canada for 28 years I live in Ukraine on and off for 9 years I have more friends in Ukraine than back home and Canada together with the most beautiful warm good hearted people I ever known maybe when the war is finished you can try your luck in Ukraine what a beautiful country don't believe me? ask your parents if they don't like something they will tell you on your face I feel like a king there they all love me respect me if I need help they will help with no questions, good luck to you my Ukrainian lady ?

Scottish Canadian here. I left canada 20 years ago, for Asia, and have never moved back. I go home (southern Ont) for holidays and am shocked at what the country has become. Currently riding out life in Thailand and love it. If you can get out, and won't regret it, you should try. Canada is absolutely shocking now as a (post) nation.
