With all the people that live here hating America and thinking it’s so racist you would think that’s what the border would like with them leaving the US. America, a nation so great that even the people that hate it not only still stay but encourage others to come here too.

If a hundred thousand of these same people stormed the capital in Washington DC what do we think would happen? ?

We can’t find housing cause a estimated 50,000 people A WEEK MAKE IT OVER THE SOUTHERN BORDER ! That’s the ones that actually get threw … take some basic math folks - \n\n50,000 a week x 52 weeks = 2.6 MILLION people a year coming across … okay so what ? \n\nPhoenix Arizona couple years ago was the 6th largest city In the USA WITH 1.65 million population … DO THE MATH… JUST SAY FOR A EXAMPLE THEY ALL STAY IN PHOENIX. PHOENIX WOULF WOULD TRIPLE ALMOST IN SIZE EVEDY YEAR … \n\nWe can’t afford housing now ! Why? There isn’t enough houses or apartments available so supply and demand. Demand skyrockets and so does price - what do you think happens when we triple our population in a year ? Rent WILL BE MORE THEN NEW YORK… and that doesn’t even touch the traffic as our roads and freeways weren’t built to sustain 4 million people, AND THE WORST OF ALL… our water … we’re all ready having to do severe cut backs cause we’re draining the Colorado river and lake mead and lake Powell … we would kill our natural resources within years …\n\nAnd sorry to say but that many immigrants that fast - in one year . Mexicans would be the dominant population no question by double … they don’t have insurance, speak English , there culture is drastically different … just look at what small amounts can do to certain areas … I know I don’t want my houses in my neighborhoods painted yellow, pink, and merrachi music blasting till 3 am from every neighbor - I say that cause it literally just happened to me as I had to sell my house cause several houses were bought up around me and swathes of them moved in and the entire neighborhood did a 180 real fast… and who do you think pays for every single one of them and there food cards , health insurance , there WIC baby money , there school, there housing .. YOU YOU YOU

I know I'm in the minority on believing this, but I think that if Canada and the US merged, we would absolutely secure North America as the dominant superpower (for at least another century). With Alberta's oil, the productivity of the prairies, combined with American ingenuity, prowess, and capabilities, no other single country could compete with us.

If this video wasn't about Canada you could very well believe that this video was about Australia. We are pretty much the same. There are too many selfish idiots in this country who want to get rich quick through property investing. As a result of this everyone is mortgaged up to their eyeballs in debt. People think that owning investment properties means you're some sort of god. If we didn't have any resources our entire economy would be focussed on building homes. The thing is, the houses that builders build in this country are terrible. They don't insulate well, the materials used are crap, the workmanship is poor. People on average now take out mortgages 6-7x their income. To keep property booming we open the floodgates for immigrants. The societal landscape of our country is changing for the worse. Looking around Melbourne and Sydney, most people are either Chinese or Indian now. These people run away from their countries (which they think are crap compared to the West) and then they buy houses here resulting in people born in Australia losing out.\n\nThe entire thing is a god damn ponzi scheme.

I'm canadian and yeah, while the healthcare can be tricky sometimes, in cas of a emergency, it's not that tricky. I had to go to the ER 2 times in 3 month because of a pneumothorax, arrived there, pass in 15 min approximatly both time and was in charge, spent 1 week each time there and the second time even had to have a part of my lung removed. Had no real tricky manipulation to do or anyhing. I was just happy it cost me absolutely nothing and I think it's definetly a reason why the lifespan is higher since in case of an emergency, if I was in the US and had to pay, I would have actually died, since I don't have the money for it, I'm a student so... (that also helps, my session cost me around 200 bucks... yeah, 200, I'm in college). Healthcare should really be something free everywhere, you never know when a shit can happen and... you can't really prepare your bank account for it...\n\nSorry for the bad english, I'm a native french speaker (yes, I'm from Québec)

I think Canada economy is not as flawed as this video propose. Instead I would say that Canada as develop a strange equilibrium by surfing on the American economy. It does not need to take risk : to be entrepreneurial, to pay for research. AKA, Canada is out sourcing the risk out of its economy and I wouldn't be surprise if Canada is always performing relatively better when recessions happen.

while I agree with a lot of this video theres one crucial aspect this video neglects and same with the commenters here.. POPULATION. \n\nCompared to countries like denmark, sweden, japan, france, uk, etc. we have a much bigger country to maintain landmass wise. Infrastructure. USA is similar but they have 10x the population as us. Our population in canada is pathetic. Problem is everyone stays in ontario or BC which is stupid, im in sask I want population. Another thing about infrastructure is our climate. We have such drastic events in our climate across our huge country that takes a toll. Climate problems with our low population is not a good thing. I mean most people outside canada and even within Canada dont believe me but Saskatchewan goes from like -45 to +45C with windchill/humidex. Our forests are on fire often, that is not normal. That costs so much money to fix as well. In summer sometimes, Nunavut or NWT will be warmer then here, we talk about it here when it happens. Think about that. Weather is HUGE in saskatchewan. We talk about weather daily. I never realized until internationals pointed that out that we are obsessed with weather in sask lol. \n\n Our housing market is a joke and I agree we need to invest more in buisnesses but at the same time we need affordable housing, we are in a weird spot. As far as working etc goes people commenting here lol the golden years of the 80s are gone old timers, my parents realize this that you guys were spoiled in one of the greatest time periods in human history - post WWII boom and the effects. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

I think it depends on what you really want from a country. If you exclude costs of living, Canada today looks like a nice place for retirement where people just want to live life quietly and do simple happy things in life. This makes it not as focus on development in my opinion. The cost of everything is going up because if I was a rich person, I would go to Canada too to live life. Not as stressful and the nature there is just amazing. BC weather is really nice.

I think the one thing wrong in this video is I don’t believe Canadian’s would rather spend more on living then elsewhere. The cost of housing takes up most income and therefore can’t invest it… not much of an option. For example a dumpy house in Canada costing more then a castle in Poland (not joking).\nI get the importance of Immigration but come on man… i just wana buy a home lol.

Wait but I thought that Venezuela was a gun free zone you would think they would love it it there because the normal civilians can’t protect themselves I mean own fire arms. Everyone is asking why do they want to leave so bad because despite all the gun regulations and laws put into place normal Venezuelans are being killed by the government by the police by the gangs and can’t even protect themselves without becoming a criminal in the process. North Americans aren’t very far from this reality we close our eyes to.

I think they should have educated people beforehand. I mean paranoia is real in today's world. Can't blame authorities for acting the way they did. Reality. Really. Maga right. Let's see unemployment numbers down nation wide since Trump took office. Foreclosures another all time low. Employment is up. Programs that Trump and his republican mates took away to help now not only back in firm place but helping Americans who weren't wealthy and paying for it are now successfully employed, own their homes and contribute fairly with appropriate taxes. People can't find housing??? Programs are out there for those who had foreclosure on them because of Trump's unyielding to constantly tax those not making six digits. Also our country lost over one million innocent men,women, children and infants because Trump REFUSED to acknowledge COVID. Care to speculate how many of them were republicans thinking how could I of believed him??? One father stated after burying his wife who died from it said this. We believed him then my wife of fifty years contracted it and died quickly and our kids who like us who believed him were told had this been taken seriously in the beginning it would of never become this severe. Maybe we need to rethink the border Wall. I think it would have helped our border protection officers.

I bet if they dug a few pits and put some tear gas rounds in the crowd they would flee and rethink these invasions. Personally I think they should be in their own country fighting the corruption there instead of fleeing here making them our burden to bear. Solution is simple. We all know the USA can easily make those third world countries better so none of their citizens would even think of coming to America for a better life economically. If I may ask: who made all those third world countries poor despite their rich natural resources? Message ???

My parents came to this country in the 70s from a small country in SAmerica. they brought me 3 years later and my handicap brother 2 years later. The USA embassy made my parents sign a paper stating that my brother will not used any government assistance ( he had polio when he was little so he has to walk with scratches) and that's what my parents did until my brother got a job. He worked for 40 years in the same job until he retired 6 years ago. With the exception of the mass rehab center for job training, my brother never used government assistance. \nI remember my mother and I we used to wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning to shovel the snow from the driveway so it would be safe for him to walk to his car to go to work at 5 am. I am very proud of my brother. \nSome people think that receiving government assistance is smart, but we think is not bc it makes you a dependent, you loose your sovereignty as an individual. And these people don't realize that. Personally I think these people are getting paid to do this bc this is not normal. \nIn the other hand, the USA government in the quest to protect its interests ( mainly the corporate interests) support candidates that will go along with what the US says. \nI would like to point out that in this country, there's plenty of corruption, do u do anything about it? ! Jan 6 is the only time that I see it happening ( for me, Jan 6 will forever be a very important holiday)

Love these people. I spent a lot of time living on or near the border, I really think the US would benefit from these people coming into the country. (Most of them, maybe not all of them). We just need to do it the right way, and make it a bit easier to do it the right way.

It's the same all around the world. Any country that has borders, which is every country on our Earth. People are desperate for themselves and their families. \nI think that the question is not why ? People who think this is about Republicans vs Democrats don't have a clue and are just going with their biases. Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any other president (more than Trump I believe), Trump stiffened up the border, and Biden made measures to actually make it tougher for these Venezuelan immigrants to get into the US once the migrant herd was moving north. This is a result of Venezeula and their economic collapse. If it happened sooner, it would've happened during Trump's time. I'm sure once Biden is out and a republican is president (looks that way), they'll try it again. Even Mexico doesn't want them since they have their economic issues to deal with.
