Every major US city is struggling to budget for illegal immigrants. This is why trump has done so well in cities, poorer Americans find themselves in direct competition with illegal immigrants for government resources. If you looked at figures like the number of encounters at the southern border and the amount spent on illegal immigrants this would make it obvious why Americans are upset. Instead you just paint poor Americans as xenophobic and don't even give that view a fair representation. Classic elitist bias.

I always wonder why people in US even care. Like, okay, you need to enforce law, yet I think that it mostly because people assume it spike up crime, exacerbate housing crisis (which is not really caused by immigraiton), which is presumptions. Guys, immigrants maybe enter illegally, but they not necessary villains.

All polls should designate legal (skill/education/$$$$…..) immigration and illegal immigration (crossing the border, overstaying visa…) which might be the reason of poll results mixed results.

I doubt he'll have the necessary resources and co operative countries to pull this off ie remove ALL illegal immigrants. Canada should take care of their homeless people first before accepting refugees from the United States since Trump won the election where he will deport any illegal immigrants. I am Mexican, I went to College and worked legally in the US, and I am living in Mexico right now. I am totally against illegal immigration, but what I oppossed the most is the racism between Latinos. I can tell you that most of the people who treated me the worst were my own people. Latinos don't like other Latinos there and even less illegal immigrants, even if they were once illegal, 'cause they are not gonna take away what was so hard for them to get !! so so sad, I guess they are ashamed of where they come ???? and that's a big reason why they voted for Trump!!

Federal government officials needs to investigate and arrest those who are involved and responsible for helping the illegal immigrants to enter the country too… make them pay for it.

The fact that we have so many people in the US undocumented and living here for decades tells us that our legal process is not sufficient for allowing people to come legally. Having that many people tells us we need to treat this as a policy problem, not an individual-making-bad-choices problem. And spending billions of dollars on border patrol tactics that still allow for so many illegap immigrants tell us that our resources are grossly misspent. Plus we treat legal asylum seekers as if they were illegal (depriving people of food, keeping them from crossing in the first place) so people will choose whatever method will get them here. People can be here legally for well over a decade before getting a green card and then even longer to get citizenship.

Why not ask Trump to spend a couple days to work on these farms that requires manual work like picking vegetables, I bet that he wouldn't last an hour, and the majority of the American people don't want to do that back breaking work for little pay, so if he reports all these illegal immigrants whats going to happen?
