We need to slow down immigration and international students, find other ways to boost GDP other than tuitions. If we have workers shortage, we Canadians have to get out of our couch and start working maybe 2-3 full time jobs per person on average and works 100 hrs a week (the government can help by lowering income tax and payroll tax, and increase the property tax). Nothing is free, and we can't enjoy our benefit while not working enough hours (rn we are paying with our future economy)

Moreover, dishonest practices, such as buying grades through online schools or bribing high school teachers, corrode the very integrity of our education system.\n\nAmidst these challenges, the lack of guidance from school counselors leaves Canadian students uninformed about strategic academic planning. Proactive counseling becomes crucial to enlighten students on the importance of enrolling in Grade 11 courses during Grade 10 and Grade 12 courses during Grade 11. This strategic approach empowers students to make informed decisions, strategically dropping courses for a better chance of success, aligning with the tactics employed by foreign students vying for available seats.\n\nThe current state of our education system is untenable, necessitating essential reforms. Every Canadian citizen student deserves the right to pursue higher education, liberated from the influence of financial gains for institutions. It is crucial to address these issues, highlighting the immorality and wrongness of pressuring kids to achieve a 98% for their future. Some achieving perfect scores may resort to dishonest means, taking cognitive-enhancing drugs, or being denied the opportunity to experience a normal childhood. This underscores the urgent need for a fair and accessible educational landscape prioritizing the well-being and ethical development of all citizens.

Immigration is less integral to the economy than we think. A trivial increase GDP growth wage growth, is meaningless when housing costs can go up 20% per year. Even other costs are going up because retailers rent is so damn high. I have a family member who is dying because of healthcare backlogs and i have untreated injuries right now because the doctor told me it would be a 6 month wait for a cat scan. I am tied to Toronto because of family and friends. But yeah, the cost of housing sucks. Structural I don't think housing will improve for a while. There are too many people wanting to live here for the space available now and in the future. The governments (a Ontario and Toronto) have to change the by laws to get allow single family dwelling neighborhoods to be bull dozed, not to build gigantic condos but multi dwelling space which may be a few stories high.

Outstanding news, I've always seen Islam as one of the biggest threats to Western civilization, progressive left wing ideology a close second. Singapore is a much more congested place. Real estate prices are on the higher end.\nCanada is a very cold place but in certain states, Canada gives free land to settle immigrants. Plus, as you stay in close proximity of the US with similar timezones. So you can find jobs in American companies. Singapore is from a different timezone and there is very little overlap between California PST and Singapore SGT. \nAs the global warming takes effect, Singapore will sink, while Canada becomes warmer, more natural resources are unlocked in Canada. Not to mention, Singapore is sorrounded by Islamic nations, and there is high probability of terrorism happening in near future as radicalization increases in that region. War is already happening in Burma between Junta and ARSA. And when civil war happens, so happens the in-flux of illegal arms and ammunition. Canada is far far away from these warzones.\nMost people should prefer Canada over Singapore, unless you have any specific ties to South East Asia, like you love the Asian food or you need to stay in close proximity of your family and friends.
