Great video . Thank you. While you were living outside Canada you still had to pay 45% of your income in taxes?. Once you will be in the new country this situation will change?. Good Luck

Alina home is not a country or a building you grew up in. Home is the experiences you have had in the past, present and future. Keep having good experiences with your friends and make new friends and home will be wherever you are at. Good luck.

For me a Québécois, we missed the boat in 1995. Too bad if you don’t like it but we got screwed by newly arrived immigrants back then and we are being drowned by immigrants now. The difference is that you too in the ROC are being drowned. I am a Quebec nationalist, it’s in my guts. My family has roots going back to New France. Canada has always been an imposition for us just as we to the First Nations I guess. That’s unfortunately neither here nor there at this point in history and I apologize for it. I could blame the Trudeau government but any government in Canada would do the same for neoliberal/conservative ideological reasons. We have a neoconservative government right now in Quebec. They have practically killed our nation from the inside in order to discredit the social democratic and socialist tendencies that did so much to develop this nation. These are the ones who would literally step on their grandmothers neck to attain higher status in life. Since for me this place is where I feel the most a part of and have understood long ago that the ROC had done everything to negate us as a people a nation and the dream of an independent country with close ties to the ROC is and probably never was in the cards, I have started hoping for some kind of political union with mother France since it has become painfully clear that Canada as a strong bicultural self respecting truly independent country is a bygone notion. Just look at our military, it’s a monumental farce. Look at the insane levels of immigration, we cannot support this!! PERIOD!!! Look at way we genuflect to the US’s economic visions without questioning anymore. The Quebec people are a nation, Canada unfortunately is only a notion. For me getting out of Canada is also a reality except since this place never was one of a cash cow there only to send funds to some family elsewhere I believe we Québécois and Québécoise, with the respect for the First Nations that we have always owed them, need to go our way. So leave Canada, in fact there are too many of you already. We are not the US, we cannot afford the social chaos of savage predatory capitalism. What is bringing this confederation down is exactly that. Wanting to cram Canada, all its constituent parts into an Merican hole. No matter the price. Goodbye Canada you hardly wanted to know us.

I am here in Germany for almost 3years & already GuKP, but still I feel not welcome here specially I transferred to new Hospital to work. Taxes at expenses were high. In fact I had recently experienced bullying from my Colleague in my workplace in hospital. I hope my complaint will be raised on the management & make an action about it. I am looking forward to leaving Germany for next year & will applying to English country wherein the health care workers are being respected & with more salary received. ???

I've lived in Canada since the late 1980's, starting in Quebec, then Ontario and since 2010 Alberta. I've seen the decline and really don't like where this has gone. However, there have always been ups and downs and the recent pandemic has caused problems for every country. I still like living here, but I love travel as well. So for now we're snowbirds, exploring different locations in South and Central America each winter. I also have ties to Germany, but so far life in Canada suits me more. All the best for your new adventure!

Oh this is a great news for Indians in Brampton, Prince Edward Island and all the places that now they want to “conquer”. Say hello to New India!

Its not the poor new immigrants thats cause the cost of living to go up.... its the rich greedy immigrants specially from all of Asia and southeast Asia who have become landlords by forging documents and flipping houses... they are helped by their own people in the banking and lending industry to misdeclare income and become owners of multiple properties. ... if any one is to blame it is the poor regulations and the cheating prevalant in the retail banking where you can walk upto any visible minority banker and talk about forging documents candidly.. its a shame... !!!

I agree with one of the commenters...you don't owe anyone an explanation why you want to leave. I wish you every success in this new adventure. You will encounter new adventures and obstacles but you will SUCCEED! Welcome to your NEW adventure! You post great vlogs and I am sure that won't change just because your home base has changed.

It is interesting how much I've heard this from Canadians in recent years. Growing up in America's dull, dingy, squalid Rust Belt it was always a thrill to visit cities like Toronto and Montreal. The strip of water separating Windsor (itself not exactly Paris) from Detroit might be starkest line between two countries this side of the Korean Demilitarized Zone. But I was only ever a tourist in Canada and perhaps it's true about the grass always being greener. Best of luck in your new home.

Canada & the UK both seem to have doomed themselves by allowing massive immigration without sufficient new housing.

I was born in Montreal in the mid 50s and growing up it truly was a free country with plenty of opportunity. Graduating from Sir George Williams University I was able to purchase a brand new Mustang and live in my own new construction 2 bedroom luxury apt. Food and going to clubs was never an issue and as I had worked during the summers, I had no student debt. Most Canadians back then were from European backgrounds and safety was never an issue. In the year 2000 I left for the United States for good. I worked , lived and retired in a small university town and have a conceal carry permit to protect myself even here. I remember when you didn't even need a passport to go back and forth to Canada . The great replacement has hit Europe the hardest but Canada is a close second. If I were to leave here it would probably be for Thailand or the Philippines where there is a reasonable cost of living and safer conditions. I feel for you as I too can never go home, not the home I came from.

Maybe because many, not all, of the new immigrants hate the country they are coming to, have no desire to integrate, and want to turn it into the same disaster they left behind.
2024-08-14 0
Just say already where you're hoping for, or as a minimum the criteria that you were looking for in a new place...
2024-08-14 0
Honestly, you seem full of it. The description lists a whole bunch of generalities that don't affect 90% of the people.. You don't leave a country because tents are popping up downtown or the economy is stagnant. Nothing new, it was worse actually in the 90's yet most people were just A OK living and playing here. You should not have made the video until you can disclose your actual personal reasons and destination. As it is it seems dumb to even talk about it.

Can you go to Maritime provinces like New Foundland and do COL vid?
2024-08-14 0
That's a thought-provoking post. It's important to consider the choices we make and the impact they have on our lives. I applaud your courage to explore new opportunities. Best wishes on your journey!

Canada is one of the most countries as Australia or America welcome to the new migrants. However, high inflation over the growth of the wages changed everything nowadays.

Now that Joe Biden stepped down it's like a new chalkboard everything's fresh, everything's good, the borders good everything's good, the economy's good everything's good?

Just curious, but can you still speak Russian? Good luck with your new travel plans.

Canadian here. Trudeau is a diaster. He's letting in 1.4 MILLION migrants every year into a country of 40 million, population is exploding, housing is nonexistent, healthcare has collapsed and its overcrowded and homelessness has exploded. Trudeau has turned Canada into a third world country. It's literally India now. And Canadians have been sold out. Canada is over. Trudeau has destroyed it completely and turned into New Mumbai. I'm ashamed of what has become of Canada. Our quality of life has nosedived under the Canadian version of Maduro.

Well, if it's Thailand, and I suspect it is with the new DTV visa, I am sure you will love it there. Highly recommend Sukhumvit area for your first year Condo rental. Best of luck!!

Life is full of unexpected turns. I left behind the enchanting beauty of Positano and the Amalfi Coast in search of something new. Now, after a decade, I find myself calling Alberta home with genuine affection. The warmth and hospitality of the locals have been truly heartening. Despite the challenges posed by economic circumstances, the joy of being warmly greeted whenever I step outside, coupled with the relaxed Calgarian spirit, complements my Mediterranean, traditionally formal nature in the most delightful way

Right on. You are awesome. Both my kids have dual citizenship with Canada and New Zealand. Given the life here at the moment I hope they choose New Zealand in the future

The wife and I are looking for a new home too, this country that was once the envy of the world has turned into a dystopian nightmare under a Trudeau/Singh government.
2024-08-14 0
Good luck with finding a new place to live, at least for a while. I don't recommend coming to the US, because we're just as much in the dumps as what I've seen on Canada (better in some and worse in others), and until we get our act together, and that's totally on us, then you should try a different place.
2024-08-14 0
Nothing new with things changing over time and Capitalism and overpopulation is making every country change for worse. The best we can do is chase the light of dead stars and go somewhere that's not so bad YET. That's what drove me to move from Brazil to Canada and that's what's driving me to move from a big city to a smaller town. I wish you the best of luck.

Canada is not home, it's standard Hotel where travellers check in and out next day or week, some stayed a year or two and have their kids born in hotel, some stayed decade with two or three generations lived in hotel. The hotel manager always busy for new comers to sign in.
2024-08-14 0
Your words resonated with me deeply. We are a family of two who moved to Canada over two decades ago to start a new chapter and pursue our dreams. Now, we may need to move and start anew elsewhere. We’ll continue to follow our dreams, no matter where they take us.
2024-08-14 0
Wish you all the best through your new journey!

The end of new world order...??always put the blame on others..close all embassies should be the next move..
2024-08-14 0
I simply moved to my new country and registered as a student. Got me right in. Nope, not gonna tell you which. We don't need more of you here.
2024-08-14 0
Seriously? It’s not anti immigrant. It’s anti far too much too fast and all while natural citizens are held to far different standards than the new arrivals as well as the privileged “elite”. IRS also not rocket science as to why…
2024-08-14 0
The politicians have done the same thing to New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc. it’s very sad…
2024-08-14 0
Canadians need a pm that is not a globalist elite we may need new comers but we need to fix our country first not just housing , health care

Justin Trudeau and the liberals have destroyed this Country. I was born and raised in Canada in a town in Ontario along one of the Great Lakes Lake Erie. My parents and even their parents were born and raised in that same area I am from and Canada was a great place but since Justin Trudeau become PM everything started to change and not in a slow unnoticeable way it was fast. Drugs and homelessness started to become a thing something I have never seen in my life and even my neighbourhood and town started to change too with people that don't speak english and wait times in the ER started to be so much longer and even finding a doctor when I moved to the city was impossible to get. I have not traveled much only in a car or truck and never been on a airplane but I am considering moving out of Canada too. I am going to wait and see what happens in the election and see if things begin to charge before I leave the only place I know and start new somewhere else. I have been thinking of Southeast Asia like Laos or Thailand because there Canadian funds are worth something and you can live and at for very cheap and get a very nice place for half or less of what rent is here.

This exact video could have been made by someone from the USA! Sad times, but not limited to the US and Canada. I think we are in transition and the future will be better. So excited for your new adventure! Thanks for these videos and all the best to you and yours! ?❤️?
