It's absolutely stupid to pull up something that happened 100s of years ago and blame Canadians. Unlike local Canadians who has accepted the mistake, acknowledged and integrated with the indigenous people, what concerns does an Intl student have towards this issue which has already been resolved. If one can't prove that their skills are worth enough to get them an extension or a PR, I'm sorry it's time for a pack up. I wonder how that student said that he was both a student and truck driver? Could someone look at this. If intl students are effectively breaking the rules as laid on their visa they should be barred from reapplying to another visa.

It is the weakness of government to implement a sustained immigration policy. 2021 Trudau said bringing more students to canada and incorporate more and moreof them in to the canadian citizens in the future. \nSo thats why lot of students from abroad came to canada expecting their dreams to \ncome true. So in that respect their grievances are also fair.

Will Canada ?? sponsor a few million of us Christian folks. \nTo immigrate to let's say Iraq. \nPay for housing, food, education, jobs and allow us to alter their social status, beliefs, religion?\nBut.\nWe all want to land in the same area of said country and be able to not integrate, learn their language and make sure our Christian beliefs are the only important issues at hand.

My recent experience was an Indian origin co-worker who needlessly put his tractor trailer into the median. Upon receiving a dangerous driving charge he claimed it was because he was brown. Sorry dude, falling asleep at the wheel has nothing to do with race.\n\nThat said I work with numerous India co-workers who put in solid long days to support their families. May they have many children.

I recently worked in a fast food restaurant owned by a foreign national, to begin with there was about a half and half mix between the foreign students and Canadians, it was well run, nice place to work and we pretty much got along, suddenly the owner started advertising for help only in his own language newspaper, as the usual turnover took place all the new hires were of his nationality, students who were limited to 20 hours per week wound up working more hours than the full time workers which in my books left me wondering how much studying they were getting in, Covid hit, I asked the boss if he was going to sign up for getting us paid instead of laying us off, he said he wasn't eligible for that program and laid us off, after he laid us off he applied for and got on the program, suddenly names the Canadian supervisor had never seen working for us appeared on the payroll and mysteriously when we got back to normal and got called back they never did appear in our restaurant. I'm not a racist, have always loved working with other nationalities, but rules are there for a reason and need to be enforced, a lot of folks are taking advantage of our lax enforcement. If you want to work in Canada you should apply for the permit before you come, if you come as a student you need to be a student, if you come as a refugee you should declare that status before you get on a plane. When we have people living on the streets and in cars because housing is not affordable we need to question how many folks we are bringing in.

You were spot on about govt's role and the behaviour of the crowd that has moved in the past few yrs. I have been here for 28+ yrs. I am sad about everything that is happening now. \n\nSad for Canadians and the new generation of students coming with improper planning. Some can't even speak decent English. Some are not interested in studying and getting local degrees. No solid long term plans. \n\nSome of them have no respect for local culture as you mentioned. Rude and unruly behaviour has become a common site in some areas. It is expected that most Canadians will come to detest all that. It's only natural. I can't stand it so how would they, who have never been exposed to that? \n\nDuring Covid, govt let students work FT, they let them come without asking for proof of sufficient funds to support themselves. Because of that, many people brought their families and the spouses were allowed to work as temporary workers. \n\nAll this was to be a temporary arrangement but people moved in droves without considering the possibility of things changing. They figured that between two jobs, however small, a family could survive. Sadly, not true. We already have a crisis at home and this made things even worse for the locals. There are low income families here as well. Things like Covid and the war has affected Canada badly. \n\nGovt failed to make it clear that the lifting of work restrictions for students was a temporary move. People also got carried away. In the end, everything has become a royal mess. As I said, it is a sad situation for both sides.

Good video and a good attempt to cover your thoughts on this complicated situation. Let me, as a full Canadian with Metis heritage give you my opinion.\n\nI dont hate Indians per say. And I would even go so far as to say most Canadians dont hate Indians either. What we DO hate is the disrespect we are being shown by many (not all) of these immigrants coming into OUR country. Many are coming here and expecting US to conform to THEIR ideology, their customs, and their way of life.\n\nWe have Indians worshipping Allah on the streets blocking traffic when they have their temples. We have Indians demanding Syrian (I hope I spelled that correctly, if not then I apologise...) laws be implemented, and we have Indians whom, as you said, are taking many of our jobs because of the mass influx of Indians entering into the country. That last part I FULLY side with you as being our useless gov't's fault.\n\nI cant really blame Canadians for feeling how they feel about what is happening though. Let me ask you this. Based on what I just said. If you had a masss influx of another race come into India and doung all the things I just mentioned along with what you mentioned, how do you think the Indian people would feel? My recent visit to the Landesamt für Einwanderung in Berlin was a stressful: i am a freelance musician applying for an official music teacher's position. There was a summit of 5 people there that could not wrap their heads around what papers i didn't fill in, so they gave me a piece of paper that legitimates my stay for one more year and said I'd need one more paper to proof that I am skilled enough. I tried to get one more appointment after filling in the papers, but no answer. Me and my employer are now stuck in this together, because we need each other more, than the immigration office thinks we do.

My wife got her PR a couole of years ago but she said that she does not want canadian citizenship. She was TERRIFIED by this woke country. So, we packed up our 2 blonde kids and left that woke shithole. We moved to Romania. Up yours, Canadistan!!!

read many comments here , I think Germany needs a cultural revolution in tackling xenophobia. yet the recent rise of AFD and other right extremist does not make the situations improved.\nAfter living in Germany for 8 years and pursuing my bachelor degree I can say most of the comments here on the extreme side of an opinion , yes there's racism, xenophobia and an unwelcoming mindset yet there's also many opportunities provided for immigrants to grow and improve their lives if you immigrate to another country and only talk about the dark side of it I find it quite unfair.\nGermany has not been a country of immigration like US or Canada and expecting it to be exactly like these countries , jus leads to disappointment. criticising is fine but if everything is said is just dark and negative , I personally find it not simply realistic. While a lot of what you have said is true, we do not agree that these are people from varied areas within India. To clarify, it is 75% Punjabis+Sikhs, 24% Gujarathis, and the remaining 1% distributed from all other parts of India. Indians have shown themselves as the most uncultured of all the population across the world. The lady is not wrong about the pooping incident. There were Indians spotted doing this, and reports went silent just not to create a major issue with the political situation. It will take decades to mend the damage caused by these Indians in Canada. The well settled Canadian Indian citizens do not form a part of these uncultured Indians who have suddenly grown up in numbers in the last decade and particularly in the last 7 years..

You said it all. Totally agree. I have been here for almost 30yrs. It has changed so much. You said it all. I specifically see newer Indian immigrants rushing to catch trains or buses disrespecting the discipline of respecting lineups, elbowing people, being rude, wrong side bike riding makes it feel especially in Toronto as if we are in Delhi Gurugram traffic. No rules folliwed. No respect for personal space. Loud music in neighborhoods. Ofcourse immigrants from other nations too, the super rich have bought so many assets and houses in Canada, that they just own, keep them not used, creating nonavailability of living spaces for regular Canadians.
