How can you go to another country , want to be part of that country and not learn the language, If you cant make an attempt to be part of Canada by learning the language then you dont deserve to be here. How can you be educated here and get jobs here after graduation with poor to very poor English skills. On a work site this is a safety issue and can not be overlooked, If this is what our university's are teaching then it goes without saying that they are failing Indian students If roles were reversed how far would I get in India speaking only English?

I migrated to Canada when I was 9 (I’m not Indian). I feel Canadian and I am now grown and have my own children. I am afraid the Canada I know is gone and my children will feel like outsiders growing up and in the future.
