The plot went terribly wrong. Not only the ensuing wars (that we are fighting to this day) bankrupted America but we also lost our credibility as a beacon of hope. Before 9/11, our national debt was a meagre $2T. Today, it stands at a whopping $22T!! Nearly 50% of that is the result of cost of wars. It is time we ought to do our own soul-searching rather than make Islam a scapegoat of our problems for religions have always conquered civilizations from the dawn of human history. \n\nNearly 2000 years ago, Europe was largely pagan. And within a couple of centuries, it predominantly became a Christian continent even though Christianity at first was met with a lot of suspicion and mistrust among the pagans. Islam is now at a similar crossroad in the Western hemisphere. Should Isam replace Christianity in the West over the next couple of centuries (and it seems likely that it will), it would only mark the natural evolution of human culture and civilization. And does it matter what religion people follow in Europe or America? No. The French will still be French whether they worship God in a mosque or church. And ditto for the Brits, Germans, Italians, and others. But, the French will always play the most entertaining le foot -- Nous sommes les champions du monde! It is NOT ok to violate the borders and the sovereignty of another country just as it is not ok to break into someone's house. I am a legal immigrant, and it would NEVER occur to me to enter illegally or to overstay my visa had I been denied legal status in the US. Please go home and put your energy and intelligence into making YOUR country a better, safer place for your kids. A country is nothing but a PRODUCT of its people and their culture, values and belief system. It is YOUR home culture that makes your home country the horrible, dangerous, corrupt place that it is. Bring the western culture that you learned here home with you and work hard to shift things for the better in your home country.

Im against illegal immigration but I see a lot of racism in the comments! Poor people in the US and Canada are lazy and that's why they are poor! They don't want to do hard work although they have very little education. Don't go to stores where you do not feel welcomed, you can always shop online\n6. Don't go to restaurants or coffee shops where you do not feel welcomed\n7. When calling into a company for help/support, and you donot feel welcomed, just hang up and call again until you speak with someone nice.\n8. Nobody really cares about your complaints, so dont call into a company to yell and scream, just cancel the service and go with another company\n9. Go with your gut feeling, sometimes you do not feel like leaving the house, just don't.\n10. In general, try to be with friends and go to places where you feel safe.

15 years in America as an illegal. Man, I am so tired of these people who think they can break laws and move from one country to another with impunity. The question that never seems to be asked is why are these countries south of the border in such chaos? Why?\nWhy can't you find a better life in the country you were born in? Regardless of what your political stance is no country in the world is okay with massive amounts of immigration. Most of these people never assimilate and become productive members of society. No country is capable to support the influx of people, it's unfortunate but true.

It's Islamists that are a blood stain on this country where thousands upon thousands of men and women gave their lives for our freedoms and rights but now look at what these people have brought to this beautiful country. Wonder why these businesses spend so much time, effort and money just harassing customers who may buy their product?

I am from Serbia. Apart from African students and secutity in front of American embassy, we do not see a lot black people in person. And anyone who see them would be amased. Also, we see Asians only in Chinese stores. They are known to sell low quality products, pay no taxes and disappear after shop is closed.

Why are these women afraid of individual freedom? Why the lunacy of conforming to a medieval mind set that makes women subordinate to the demands of men? Submission is a product of fear, and fear is a product of violence. How can people live this way?

No matter what race, age, or gender, you will look suspicious aimlessly walking around a retail store for 20-30min without asking for help by anyone. In my experience in retail, 80%+ of shoplifters will walk around the store for 20-30min, look at all different products throughout the isles, will not ask for help, and will leave without purchasing anything. If you do this in a retail store, it will look suspicious. This is what we are trained to look for.

Then why do they demand their religion only. They try to ban Merry Christmas, alcohol, pork products etc...if they were peaceful they would not make demands to convert. Having many wife's is illegal in Canada, but Islam demands it, you knew before you came here, that we did not allow it, but you force your laws upon every other religion, why?

What a subtle way by the CBC of saying your restaurant isn't closing down because of your skin color, its because your food is too overpriced and the service sucks. The Chinese restaurant across the street is still going strong.\nStop pulling out the race card for everything.\n\nI'm not saying saying racism doesn't exist in Canada but saying your business is failing because you're black even though other minorities in the area aren't being discriminated against? Maybe you should reevaluate your service, pricing, and quality of the product instead.

They love to hate others and yet cannot even love themselves .  The direct link to this cause  is what they feed their minds on . Look at their countries !
