They're getting through the states and showing up at our borders all the way up north here in Canada. Wtf is going on down there lol.

They are bloody Economic Migrants. They want Canada's Welfare system. It's the same here in Australia, as soon as they get approved they go back to where they are from and start to organise there relatives.

Imagine spending all that money to go to school In the UK, and then not being able to get ILR!! That is why I will choose Canada.

How are they all militant without any weapons in hand trying to cross the boarder ?Funny enough the people who stormed the capital in January weren’t Militant and they were ready to lynch people and carried all types of weapons. These people are desperately looking for better lives . The shouldn’t need to go in illegally but if there was transparent policy where they can go through proper process without being criminalized legally applying for asylum and locked in concentration camps waiting for verdict without right if speech or to get a lawyer a lot of people wouldn’t need to cross illegally. Not even speaking of the necropoltics in immigration laws and how the system plays on peoples emotions with these moral panics and media narratives. It’s really sad . They are better off going to Canada or Europe honestly . They might not be militants over there

This is ridiculous. I consider myself an independant cuz I agree with certain things on both sides but on immigration I lean republican\n\nThis country is the only country ppl do this in. Y do everyone wanna come to the USA. We gotta do something and I actually agreed with putting up a wall or some sort of stable barrier. Either come here legally or stay where you're at. I'm from the Caribbean and had to wait 7years for my greencard after filing and came here legally and these ppl just wanna rush our borders illegally. But it annoys me that people think they can come here , apply for social assistance on our money. You should see how badly want to come out to Canada. Where everything is free! No it’s not. We have such a porous border in Canada. Problem is Justin Trudeau and his pack of corrupt Liberals want more and more “refuges” not skilled....with an education coming into Canada. I’m Lebanese , i applied for work permit 1.5 year ago, got approved a month ago and got my visa 2 weeks ago( for Edmonton, Alberta). My hourly wage is 16.46$ before tax. I’ve calculated my cost of living ( rent, food, transportation, etc.. ) It was acceptable back then . When i applied earlier , it was my dream to come to canada. I’ve struggled a lot to get the visa and I’ve booked a flight that was supposed to be next week , but honestly things have differ from when I’ve applied. I used to see affordable housing and cost of living, not anymore. Things have changed there, from cost to living to rents to increased crime rate ( it’s even higher and more tragical than Lebanon itself in his worst current situation) and so on and so forth. I’ve literally canceled everything and I’m not even regretting my decision.\n\nWorking on a slight above minimum wage, in a weather that’s -20+ for long months just to be in ‘CANADA’ and live from paycheck to paycheck isn’t going to seduce me honestly.

It's about time we don't have the money, we have a health care shortage. We can't keep letting able body Citizens whether born here or not live off Welfare going back generations. No one's screening the people who have already crossed over then once they get Citizenship they can bring all there relatives here is ridiculous enough is enough. If we had the resources is one thing but still screen anyone coming into Canada. We don't need other countries criminals & any more diseases brought here. We went through SARS then COVID-19 is here to stay.Try helping the people we already have you're burdening an already over burdened system. If there from Syria sure help them reach out to families that may be able to take 1,2 or maybe more into there homes to help.Quebec & other Cities or Towns in Canada can help too. The rich get richer & then there's the working poor & those who live off the system. Look what Free Trade did to this Country! People are working more for less & the cost of living is through the roof along with food prices.

Go back home!! I can't get over why this happened for so long. Canada can't even take care of it own people and we work to pay taxes to help people who don't follow rules, but true Canadians have to - what a bunch of BS! I think some people are confused, I think that crossing is a legal crossing through authorities, he’s saying if you cross illegally through a different unregulated crossing then you will be arrested. Many people with legitimate cases will be allowed into Canada but it’s a lengthy process. \n\nHe’s also getting the lady’s bags because many who cross this checkpoint do have legitimate cases, if they’re already going to be citizens they should be treated that way unlike other countries who treat all migrants like illegals even while crossing legitimate checkpoints and separate kids from parents and leave them in unsanitary cells

Send them back. I came to canada in 2017 as an international student, paid shit tons of money for housing, tuition fees. Worked full time after graduation,yet my immigration process is taking long. Evey step I took went through proper screening, and yet it's taking forever. Send them back. At this point theres no gurantee for people like me to get permanent residence over here. With all the back logs etc. So why should they be granted status, while my work permit expires in 6 months and immigration officers wont bother to answer my phone calls for extension. I have paid my taxes, I have obeyed the law. I'm a law abiding citizen. At this point, I'm even thinking of going back. This country wants new talents and more people to add to their workforce. But if they treat people like me like this. Then we might as well go back.

In Quebec we already have over 40000 of these illegals living on government checks, taking space during a housing crisis, taking healthcare when the system is overloaded, sending their children to overloaded schools (Relative to the numbers of teachers) with them not contributing at all... they are making it harder for people to have families during a period of low birthrates. Canada is pretty good with French immigration, the Middle East immigration and with people that are going to give something in exchange in their view, then all those people take the best and more they could and go back to their Countries. I was a backpacker in Australia and I have family that migrated 25 years ago. I think you should have spent more time up north. Loads of lovely photos to take in Broome. Go deep in the outback and meet the indigenious communities. I was invited to closed land and got to experience and see the indigenious holy land. I know ''PERTH'' is regional but regional true regional is where the culture is. I was obviously there for a different experience but from a photography point of view there is a lot to be seen. Cape Tribulation Groote Eylandt. Housing wise it is mega expensive and flights would make my eyes water flying back to the UK. I totally get what you are saying regarding immigration. It seems to be all about what visa you are on which becomes grating. I was in oz from 2013-16 then moved on to Canada. Fresh produce is not that great in Canada and it was cold. Those are my only complaints.

Lots of people have cross-border lives. Family, work, home is on either side of the border. Now living up in Washington State, it's different. In south America, you just need to eat and not get eaten by things. So the result is that people survive way below the poverty line. Then, the big lie tells them that the US is better so they come over to eventually learn how the others found the three headed gardener the hard way. I feel like maybe if they got a tour of the country and learned how shitty it is to live here too, they might think twice about coming over. There are periods and ways when the US opens it's borders but it's looking like a real shit show right now. We don't have enough jobs and not enough houses to house everyone. At least in south America you can live in the family house and no one bats an eye. People help each other in poverty.

F CANADA, im in BC canada on disability for life due to immune system problems. past 10 years ive tride getting healthy and started feeling good, i found a good job last summer, making 29$ hr full time! i was very excited and ready to move on in life from the system, 3 months into it, i start doing the math... im losing 22% off each check for taxes twice per month + union dues, + they charging me for cleaning service for my uniform 5$ per check THEN i pay 12% tax on all good i buy.. SO im losing almost 40% of my monthly income after fees and taxes... NOW im working so i need a car to be at work on taime daily.... this is another 15-20% monthly expense.. YEAHHH RIGHT i am not working myself to the bone to work just to be as POOR as i was on Disability. i quit the job as soon as i paid off the car, sold the car now im my own boss again , i have no need for a clock, i sleep until i want, eat when i want, and go where i want 7 days a week. You have to be a total FOOL to work in this country with these amount of fees and taxes, and please dont say taxes are high becuase of the 2% on welfare, take a look at the BILLIONS of dollars your foolish leader Trudeau is giving to Ukriane.

I wanna give my two cents as a Jamaican who lived in Canada,Germany and the us for me i wanna see the us is better interms of making money. It's better to get around , open business, hustle it's have that go-getter capitalistic mentality, Canada and Germany are similar. In Germany its haaaard to get anything done and bureaucracy will end you. Canada is a bit better and less bureaucratic. The us is a play ground filled with variety of everything and did I mention how easy it is to make money. Canada and Germany habe similar health system but in Germany things get done quickly, the us system is good if you have money. Racism is in all three but Germany and Canada are kinda not in your face, Americans will be in your face though, to me i prefer the america racism at least i know who to be aware of but in CA and ger you don't know who your enemies are because they will smile with you while not liking you. For kids it's like this , i would raise my kid in Germany because they have the kids are so well mannered and well behaved but i will let them experience american high school . Canada is waaay more peaceful , Germany cleaner. The bottom line is if you are a young ambitious Person the us is for you, but to retire I'll choose Canada but let my kids grow in Germany.

An important factor as always been for me the different of murders, mugging, rapes, theft, people killed by firearms each year up to 38 000 a year in the US, add other types of weapons, and many more. In Canada we have clean water, lakes everywhere, we have so much more good timber for building, land for farming etc. The cost of health care in the US and schools can easily ruin them, their parents and families. Canada health care is mostly free for everyone, although seemed slow by many, but is it slow or are they worried to see a doctor to realize nothing is wrong with them ?? Going to see a doctor for a cold, a bad night sleep etc are not really worth a doctors time or theirs. The education system in Canada educate their citizens, watching Youtube videos about Americans being asked common questions like : Which 2 countries border the USA?? Sadly most are morons and think it is Europe and France LOL Parents and children's have a way better time when they give birth and spending time with their families ;-) You might get better pay in the US, but then you have to worry about getting shot, robbed or killed, get your car or stolen, house broken into etc. Plus add all the scammers and scams in the USA, that citizens, non citizens and politicians and city officials and even cops do, no thank you.

Well Canada is a great country, my grand parents were able to get here in 1957 with their 3 kids, after going through and surviving WWII, work in Europe was scarce and employers were abusing their workers everywhere. My dad was one of those 3 children's, he met my mother here, they had me and my sister. Today i have 3 boys of my own and my sister has 2 girls. Canada has any country as their plusses and minuses, but i wouldn't live anywhere else. I've lived my whole life on the south shore of Montréal, worked in and around Montréal for 35 years. Never ran out of work as long as i was willing and able to work. I've worked in all my life, 65% immigrants and 35% Québecer's. There both are kinda racists in some way and they have there own reasons as well. I was bullied in school till i was 11 years old, i had an accent and dressed differently since my dad made our clothing. Being ridiculed, pushed, punched etc, and then one day the bully of the school approached me and wanted to fight me. I was scared, everyone else were laughing, so i clenched my fist and punched that kid right on the nose. Everyone got quiet and the principal came out, we went to his office and then he asked me straight away : Are you gonna do this again or was it a one time thing ?? I said it will be one time thing unless someone else wants to fight me again, then i will have to defend myself again. He said ok and now go back to class, and that was that. But in the 1970's with the augmentation of people moving here after WWII, people in Canada were scared immigrants would steal their jobs etc. My grand father worked all his life till he died at 82 years old. Worked 6 days a week, 12 to 16 hours a day. My dad had worked all his life 70 hours a week and sometimes 85 hours a week. People complaining about doctors or hospitals, a lot are going in for a cold, the flu, headaches etc, for sure take 2 aspirin or tylenol and stay home, no need to see a doctor for that. If you have a broken limb or were in an accident, you go right in and get fixed up without issue really. Any country as it's inconveniences in the end ?

I moved to Canada in 2012. I used to love Canada as even with $11 per hour job was more than enough to survive (during studies, part time job). I used to live happy life. But, since Liberal government was elected in 2015, things are going crap. Just between 2016 when I signed lease of 1+1 apartment for 1140$, in 2019 it was getting rented for $2400. Prices went up for house and lots of things. Liberals had messed up affordability that most people in Toronto region are living paycheque to paycheque. On top of it Carbon tax in hide of saving environment which literally not working out, is killing Canadians. \n\nAfter living in Canada for 11 years, I don’t see this country has any good future overall. Our banking to technology sector everything is outdated. World is moving so fast, Canada is not able to catch up. I am looking for easy was to get green card of USA, the country which I hated, it seems USA is far better. I have many relatives in USA, I asked around and it broke lots of my stereotypes about USA which I had developed living in Canada and from Canadians. Even met few people who lived in Canada for 10-15 years and moved to USA and living there for last 5-10 years. Worst decision of my life was choosing Canada in 2012 for easy immigration. My classmates who chose USA and moved there in 2012 are in much better position career wise as well salary wise and they files are also in progress. Living lavish life with great weather, while Canada is depressive as hell.
