I’m in Canada for past 2 years. Despite its negatives what I appreciate the most is work life balance and women’s safety. Life is difficult for international students but for those who come here with PR or jobs it’s a little better for them. Anti India sentiments are mostly among Khalistanis. There is absolute logic for non Khalistani Canadians to not like Indians- the quality of people who have been coming here are not exactly the ‘brains’ and crème de la crème of India. They lack basic etiquette and civic sense and have been caught shoplifting, evading fares on public transit. We have no one to blame other than ourselves for this. Otherwise Canadians are very polite and friendly to immigrants. I’ve never had strangers holding doors to public places open for me back in India which I have experienced here.

Government should have focused more on loopholes, for instance, a visitor converting his visa into work permit, contract marriages, and entering into the country, on the basis of spouse visa, no basic sense, getting permanent residence card to useless people, instead of hard working students, who are contributing tot he Canadian economy, government failed to take actions becomes of community or ethnicity politics. However, finally, they woke up today with this move.

My son recently dropped out of conestoga college. I sensed something was wrong. When I finally sat down and tried reasoning with him he finally looked at me and said “ I’m the only white person in my course…. ( business course) hmmmm …enough said.

I'm puzzled by the constant negativity and sense of entitlement I've encountered. As an immigrant from the EU, I've lived in Germany for six years and have only experienced racism once, at a club entrance. Ironically, I faced more racism in my own country during elementary school. In contrast, I've never encountered any discrimination in my job, studies, or social interactions here. Germans from various backgrounds, including dorms, sports teams, and university, have welcomed me to their gatherings. I'm a person of color and speak imperfect German, yet I've been treated with kindness and respect.\n\nGermany has offered me free education and incredible opportunities in industry and research. While I'm not wealthy, my quality of life is significantly better than it was in my home country, with plenty of room for improvement. I'm grateful for these opportunities and willing to contribute to the community. My advice is simple: be thankful for what you have, try your best, and if you're not a good fit, consider moving elsewhere and express your gratitude. It's that straightforward.

They need skilled immigration and they take unskilled immigration, which instead of adding to the budget will draw from it. Where is the sense and logic in that? For many years, Germany drained Poland and other post-communist countries of skilled workers, then the difference in the standard of living between the West and the East of Europe was huge, today it has decreased to the point that people prefer to live with dignity among their own people. Now Poland has become a country accepting immigrants from the East, the language is similar so it is easy to learn, the culture is similar, the standard of living is good and the streets are safe. Germany is no longer as attractive to skilled workers as it used to be, the cost of living is high and you can get stabbed in the liver on your way to work.

I'm certain nobody will agree with me - but why is part of the problem in the west; people get their reality from the MSM - but if I were you I would go back to Russia. The East is the future; the west is heading straight off a cliff. The only way IMO that you can be reasonably safe from that anywhere in the west is if you are completely self sufficient - and debt free - living MILES from other people - or in a likeminded community - where you are prepared to defend yourself from whats coming. I am in such a situation in NZ and even I am ready to bolt; in my case either to a small south pacific island or maybe Thailand - who are joining BRICS and therefore completely isolated from the impending western economic/social disaster. What is so crazy if you have VPN and a couple of minor technologies you can watch social media from around the world, using easy technology you can hear and see what people are saying, thinking and doing all over the world.
