Most if my friends list jobs to students and i had to go work minimum the funny thing is that the student one year in canada getting 18 i get minimum? We need someone to fix this problem otherwise more people will go homeless?

As someone who taught in ontario colleges, the mindset of indian students is very disappointing. The amount of cheating on assignments, exams and college applications is horrible. On top of that, the lack of hygiene and the inability to assimilate to Canadian culture is infuriating. If you're not going to contribute to Canadian society with Canadian standards , please leave.

Someone told me that East Indian trucking companies in Ontario contract out to India most of their bookkeeping and admin to India with just a skeleton crew here. So you have a fleet of 100 plus trucks driving through North America every day, a lot of the cash/profits goes out of the country, lower WSIB costs that reputable CDN firms have to shore up, etc, etc. Just one example of how ill thought out government policies hurt honest Canadian businesses because they don't enforce regulations unless there are many, repeated complaints. Just like the foreign student, temporary worker program, these problems won't come up years later, but are happening now. Government oversight has to be better and more timely.

US citizen here.... I don't care about the geopolitical qualms abroad... I wouldn't expect them to feel likewise when the US collapses and cowards flee. A spade is a spade you flee your country you are a coward big or small. Make your home inhabitable before inviting yourself into someone elses.

For me foremost the reason is the people. I can tolerate whatever but even my mental health suffers here so much, that I don't wish my children to go through that.\nEven if their life will be hard, they still won't feel as second grade citizen or not enough. I know someone who has got a visit visa and is coming to Canada in September with 100% intention to apply for asylum. I know that he is bringing with him fake documents that will show he has a genuine case. But I know for sure that everything is fake. I have reported it to boarder security but I don’t trust that if they will check and even if they care. Because we all know these visit visa were issued to bring people and claim asylum. That’s like government is bring on purpose cheap labor and want to put the burden on existing tax payer.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! Unaccountability for politicians has made them take people for a ride all over the world. \nCanadian people should know that whereas focusing on electing in a particular party then what we bring into the office is a particular character of a person. So it is better to scrutinize someone individually before bringing them in not by political party bias but rather their capability.

I live in the Swanton sector in Upstate NY, 5 miles south of the Canadian border. Our small town sees dozens of border crossers a day, many just wandering down our Main Street waiting to catch a ride to NYC. Several months ago, I approached a group of a dozen military age males, loitering around the gas station at the main crossroad in town. One male was on a cell phone trying to communicate with someone on the other end who was speaking very good English, meaning no perceivable accent. The cell phone male was unable to communicate with the person on the other end of the call (female voice). As I listened to the other members of the group talking, I heard several words and or phrases that sounded familiar to me (possibly Arabic). I was language trained in the military for Arabic. When I spoke to the men, their eyes lit up with recognition. They were all Muslims from Bangladesh. After several moments of chatting, I was able to discover where they were from, that they flew into Canada, were given a contact # to call after crossing and for them to make their way to NYC. My data is anecdotal but a majority of the migrants we’re are seeing here in Upstate NY are from Central Asia (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh). Winter is quickly approaching here, and many who risk the Swanton sector route will not make it due to the extreme cold. Many of my friends who live outside of town, many farmers, are deeply concerned or frightened for the safety of their families. Many have had migrants approach their houses and attempt to gain access. Truly scary stuff. And it seems to only be getting worse.

They have destroyed the good system Canada...they scam and abused it...they probe to the Canadian immigration they have the money to study and support their personal expenses here in Canada...once they are here....they demand to work...GRABBED SOMEONE ELSE JOB....and demand anything they want...even unemployment insurance...and all those demand don't qualify them...they line up in homeless shelters 3x a day for feeding....they scam the immigration dept...

What people don't understand including all mainstream and digital media is that it is too late because someone like me.\nA born and raised Canadian who worked establish a home almost paid it off. Just recently, when I called 911, they told me the Calgary city police told me to stay in my unit for my own safety. I am not free according to the charter of rights and freedom section 7. Everyone has a right to life, liberty. And security and should not be prohibited thereof however, I have no rights because I am disabled. I am not surprised because what people don't understand is that the government is trying to make. People believe that Canadians don't want to work. Back in 1992, after my college experience. I was able to get a placement in the unemployment office. Worked for them for free for one month. Which was part of the course?\nBut the government refuse to hire me, no explanation. I know why it was because I am. Blind and crippled and look like a freak. So don't tell me about immigration. They get treated way better than I have in this country for fifty eight years

Why not just exclusively adopt the skill qualification as the criteria for granting PR status like 20-30 years ago. Isnt that the minimum every 1st world countries should require?They can bring their immediate spouses and children BUT do away with allowing old parents or Grandparents. It doesnt make sense to bring someone too old to contribute to the economy. Even if they do menial jobs, it wouldnt make an impact as they havent contributed enough to the system.\nAnd for heavens sake STOP the temporary foreign workers program. The jobs they are getting arent even under “skilled” category. That should be left for young Canadians or PR Canadians who needs entry level work.

As someone whose family has lived in Canada for five generations, I now hate living in Canada so much. Our national identity has been taken from us. I feel like an outsider or a foreigner everywhere I go. I can get on a bus and not even 1 person will be speaking English. I feel like I am living in a foreign country.

The last few years have also shed a bright light on India's reputation with scam-calling centers etc., too. As it happens more and more in Canada now, with Indians being arrested for it. Yet the Canadians, who had $ stolen from them, still remain poorer after the arrests. \nAnd due to some recent (but many) Indian business/home owners in Canada, and the recent fraudster agents in India ... both utilizing secret cash pocketing shenannigans ... Canadians now are often viewing Indian men (and I stress the word men) as untrustworthy and $ greedy. \n \nSome Indian students have strong ties to Canadians, not most. I bet the protesters with their signs accusing Canadians as being racist don't have such ties, because if they did they would know its horrible to call one of the most tolerant societies in the world racist. \n \nWhy does Canada have to own missteps and make inspiring changes while India doesn't? Diplomatic relations, but only at Canada's expense? \n \nIf Canada keeps the students will they proceed forward honestly? Or will Canada be letting in a wave of demanders and scammers? You tell me? Heck even Indians who immigrated to Canada decades ago don't trust many Indian newcomers. Why?\n \nDoes giving current Indian students PR (because they were 'victims' via India) help Canada solve Canadian problems (that exist because of the student PR mess)??\n \nI know Canada made some mistakes. And I know some Canadians turned greedy too. But you tell me why, after 50+ years of Canadians loving multiculturalism and immigration and acceptance of so many from all around the planet (and after a world pandemic) Canadians are primarily (by a wide margin) upset at Indians. Why not the other mass migrators lookin for a better life too? \nYou tell me. \n\nFyi, I write all this as someone who in the past helped Indians migrate to Canada.

Just remember that a lot of people have a before and after view. Back in the day a school photo looked like a meeting of every country and now in some areas, those photos look like one country only. My point is that people grew up in a multicultural environment. Very rarely did one group have so much impact with so few people in such a short time. The long and short of it is stop driving like an entitled @$$, mow the lawn, don't be the loudest people, don't crowd, have large gatherings in public areas where you take over some place so that nobody can use it. Some people just want to get in, get their stuff and go home. I understand that the 2 countries in the world with the largest population like to be very sociable and crowd together, but neither of the two groups want to follow rules, laws or be considerate of other people. It's all about them and how they want to live. Imagine you've been paying taxes and following the laws and being considerate of other your whole life and someone coming to the country and making no effort to behave.

Those that came here under false pretenses need to be deported. Immigration is slow for a reason. If too many people come illegally, they wipe out the existing culture. Canadians are against terrible management, illegal immigration and scammers. If someone came here under a student visa and didn't spend any time in school in order to by pass immigration, sorry deportation, Canada owes you nothing.

While I have worked for a company run by Indians and they were great but there are a few Indians who are total Indians who don’t care about their actions! As a truck driver Indians are more and more becoming truck drivers but they don’t respect others! Pooping in urinals using washrooms and leaving them very dirty. Driving erratically just acting like someone else is to clean up behind them! Now Indians working retail and service jobs are great I sooner deal with them than white people! I try to deal with Indians with respect as well as other nationalities saying thank you to people isn’t a bad idea.

It's not so much a German issue, rather about communities and law dynamics. PA is rly struggling for everyone, but for foreigners services they are making clearly less efforts. Then when it comes about being different from a local, again like in every country, you would not know anything about the law, the school, the possibilities, the services and all the good aspects which Germany has and often people do not know. This is often filled up by talking to people, which luckily happens still also here, where the people are kind, although you have to be close to someone most of the time.
