I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! The presenter has done a good job with this video. Very fair. The highly ignoramus Liberal Government leader with his Indian goons in tow - esp that sell-out NDP leader whose support of Trudope has gotten us in such a mess in this country - are totally to blame!! Indians need to have some self respect and like you said - see themselves as ambassadors of India abroad and present themselves with dignity worthy of respect!! Look at the state of India - with all the money and tech and education for urban dwellers and the elite, the country still wallows in filth and the poor continue to suffer great poverty while the rich get richer and call it karma when the poor suffer - while not lifting a finger to alleviate their poverty..... izzath ka saval hai (matter of respect! - greatly valued!!) - is only personal and selfish and related to one's own family and status - to hell with the rest of the country and people!! You guys are 1.5 billions. It’s not the problem of Australia and Canada to think seriously and formulate policies in your favor. Rather Your government should formulate polices to provide quality education and create jobs within India. The protest does not make sense.

Well there is no perfect country. One thing which Canada has and India do not is Respect for working people. People working as Labor, Carpentor, Cleaner or Guard has respect but in India even you work as a Professor in private college you will wait many places more than three months for your salary. Second here people pay taxes and gets benefit too from Government. In India middle class job is pay tax and forget.

These students have no right to protest. First thing they are not citizens of this country. So take a hike. The other issue which is the main issue is that we have a huge housing crisis in Canada. I am living in Canada right now and I agree with all the points mentioned however,\n1. As a lady I feel safe, no one judge me for my clothes, no one stare me disgustingly and no one consider I am his private property to assault.\n2. I feel safe when my kid goes outside to play. People here follows laws strictly. Vehicle stops even at signal allows them to proceed, always I repeat always driver signals me to proceed.\n3. I feel happy that my husband is valued in his office and much appreciated. His seniors credit him for his hard work and everyone here encourage us to have proper work life balance.\n4 I agree we pay high tax but atleast we are getting benefits in return. Public libraries, transport system are top notches. \n5. Banking, health care, all government facilities are very systematic. We were not even aware we have completed 18 months in Canada and we received letter from government stating very soon my son's child benefit will start. We didn't even enquired about it. They processed it automatically as per our arrival date.\n6. And lastly, we celebrated Independence Day here in Calgary, it was great event and all officers were protecting us. I clearly remember while dancing , huge Indian flag dropped down by a toddler and one Chinese officer,he picked it up and gave it to nearby adult.\n\nLife is valued, humans are respected,laws are followed here so I don't regret my decision of migrating but yes, honestly I do miss India as well and I am proud I am an Indian.

Our goal for the moment shall not be Canada or US or Europe but China & South East Asia. But for that we need to significantly decentralise our economy so that local resources can be utilised and political centralisation to ensure a unifying governing across the nation to beat regional imbalances & regional political despotism like in Bihar or West Bengal.

I have to say as a white Canadian i have met some Indian people who are the nicest people but I have also had some that were the worst kind of people personally from my experience it has mostly been those who have come since the pandemic which is due to our government not properly screening people. As for brampton I was going to school and my instructor was Indian and I was surprised when he started bragging about when Indians first arrive in canada that they are taught by there church how to take advantage of the Canadian government systems and legally sue people he literally told me that and i was shocked that he actually bragged about that and thought it was perfectly ok i don't hate him or any Indian people but that kind of thing does happen alot in brampton and it definitely doesn't help Indians in most people's eyes especially when there's some bragging about it .and frankly same with the YouTube videos talking about taking advantage of our food banks not good at all especially when people are relying on them to feed their children.It also doesn't help when someone states there opinion and automatically it is called racist.

It's not hatred. It's a clash of cultures. We want our country back. I have met many really awesome young Indians. Not too many young Canadians. Every time I am on the freeway being dangerously tailegated by a 2008 black BMW who is dangerously weaving in and out of traffic feeling terrorized it is always an 18-28 year old Indian man. These Western countries including USA and Canada are more kind to illegal immigrants who cross their borders illegally from Mexico, central and South America but very harsh on Indian Students. Similar situation happened years ago in Europe and UK. Later these countries had a surge of Middle East refugees as a result of war. Now Europe in its entirety looks almost like another Middle East country with loss of its own identity and culture. My question to Canadian government is why do you want to treat Indian students who invested in your country’s economy as colonists ? Why do you treat Indian students who helped your economy with their money worse than illegal immigrants who cross your borders bringing nothing but their families ? Canadian citizens remember when these Indian students leave out of self-respect… it’s your own loss !!! I would say you will most likely be stuck with uneducated illegal immigrants in your country. I have family in the USA the people are fantastic, nice places, better earnings in some jobs worse in others. The best reason to move there is opportunities if you are a band or entertainer, actor. Teachers in Canada make $60,000 to $100,000.Because our Prime Minister is leaning towards dictatorship my stance on gun laws are changing to the American view. Hopefully the next election will reverse the censorships and overreach of this particular government.

Since I arrived in Canada 24 years ago my CPP is 40% of the maximum a Canadian who has worked for 40 years would get. \nConclusion, I had to get a survival job at 65. \nMy daughter is 24 years old and I use every opportunity to advice her and her friends to leave Canada ASAP because they will be poorer and poorer. \nI am a senior, for me it is too late to start a life abroad but kids, my advice is GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE !!!

Very informative and good accuracy of facts in the video(I am living in Canada) After watching this video If anything I am convinced now to convert my Canadian PR to Canadian citizenship. Because governments and policies will come and go but the fact that this country is so rich in natural resources and has hardly tapped into it makes it a no brainer that it will do well if led by a responsible leader.

I was born in Canada and applied for a part-time job at a restaurant around the corner by an Indian employment agency. I have multiple years experience. I was told to report to the manager, who was a Sikh. I did online training and never scheduled. I was never paid for my training and told I was not needed and would have to reapply. Everyone who works at this restaurant is south-Asian or from India. Why do we need workers from 12,000 km away when people around the corner are looking for work? It's literally like a summer camp with students from India. The Trudeau government never should have increased immigration so quickly. Major mistake.

The Trudeau government has been bending the rules concerning immigrants studying in Canada. The loudest of this group are foreign students from India. The conditions of their student visas include that they must have the ability to support themselves while they are studying in Canada. This is common with students from India, they lie about their financial circumstances to get the visa, then they come here and complain they need financial help. Why would Canadian tax payers foot the bill for a bunch of fraudsters. If they are found to be in violation of the conditions that govern their eligibility for their student visa, then the laws should be applied and they should be deported immediately. If they can't obey the laws and obligations necessary to obtain and keep their student visa, then it's a no-brainer. The world is taking advantage of the good will of Canadians, enough already. Send the liars and scammers home.

Hello, Madam canada government is not applying any strict rules. They are simply asking to get settled in the profession in which stream you have completed your masters or a degree. Not to get settled as a delivery driver or grocery store worker. Who suggested these guys to protest? If you have skills, apply for PR in a clear path, but not with protesting cards on roads.!!! Government in of Canada. Too much immigration is what keeps house prices unaffordable and wages low. There is a lot of gangsterism in the culture which is old and tiring. Im sick of these people (gang guys of any race) shooting up our streets. It's the Canadian government's right to make law and change the law in favor of their people. However some people comparing this with rohangiya and bangaladeshi however indian students went to Canada legally but kangaladeshi and rohangiya are coming illegally.

Honestly speaking, I never thought that there’s a lot of issues going on in Canada, during the college seminar, we were told that there’s good education (which is completely true), good pay rates for work, good housing and good society. After coming to Canada, I realized the rents are sky high, homeless people everywhere (it’s not their fault, they are homeless because of the government), drugs & weeds, everything’s expensive, high tax, couldn’t able to get even a low wage jobs? if I know these things are going to happen then I won’t come to Canada, also I don’t have enough money to pay back my education debt and I can’t go home without earning a single penny, I’m trying my best to spread awareness about the real issues that’s going on in here and I hope people will think twice before coming to Canada. \n\nOther than that, Canada?? is a beautiful country with amazing people, places and culture, I would love to be a part of it but if the situation is not gonna improve then I prefer to go back to India??
