I have family in the USA the people are fantastic, nice places, better earnings in some jobs worse in others. The best reason to move there is opportunities if you are a band or entertainer, actor. Teachers in Canada make $60,000 to $100,000.Because our Prime Minister is leaning towards dictatorship my stance on gun laws are changing to the American view. Hopefully the next election will reverse the censorships and overreach of this particular government.

International students are given student visas here in Canada on condition that they will leave Canada upon completion of their studies. They now have completed their studies. It's time to go back to their country as they agreed on when they applied for student visa.

Please don't conflate legal immigration with millions of international students and temporary workers. Canada needs a legal immigration policy that works and right now it does not have that in place.

If they spend a huge amount of money to get an education, then why are most of them taking useless courses that will leave them with no skills whatsoever????? Take an amazing course in India. Become a Doctor, India has the best Doctors IMHO. Spending a fortune to come to Canada to get a diploma that will get you a minimum wage job seems rather foolish to me.

Now it is open and clear that education or so called skill enhancement education programs for foreign students is a scam. They just want their money(many times what Canadians pay), and no skills to give them in return. Its broken in a way that they also can't apply to another country. So, for everyone who is applying--- Don't apply to Scammy Canada. when I had a chance I didn't even consider Canada because of their this attitude.

As an international student you must tell the truth on your application that you don’t intend to stay in the country. Canada doesn’t owe them anything. Clearly the came with other intentions.

It's bad that this situation has risen... But it's self inflicted by the Indian Students themselves... On the pretext of studies... They come to Canada and do all the odd jobs except studies especially the students who study in colleges (not University)... During the peak COVID times, the immigration allowed even a college students to bring in their partner (including those who are in conjugal relationships) which again bloated the influx substantially... Needless to say the immigration scamsters in India, Canada and throughout the globe took advantage of this going to the extent of faking the IELTS and few other documents... The Canadian Government has woken up and making a course correction, which is good for both Canada and all the countries to have a cleaner system based on credibility...

As an Indian, i can assure you that Canada had made mistake long time back.... Canada is doing this mistake for nearly 20-25 years, UK doing this mistake 10-15 years, Australia 5-10 years......\n\nSorry to say, damage in Canada is already done.... The real problem is the middle class and small businesses in Canada. I was a PR in Canada and still couldn't get a decent job because of two major issues. First - language. I went to look for a job in so many places but couldn't get it because I couldn't speak their native language, like Polish, Arabian, or Chinese. Second - I asked someone if I could get a govt. job near my house and everybody said NO. Why because the place had a Polish guy in charge, and he is only going to hire his family or friends who are Polish. So doesn't matter if you get the best leader known to man, Canadian economy is doomed if you don't do anything about the middle class system and non-English speaking immigrants.

I moved to Canada in 2017 as an immigrant (international student). It literally feels like a different country now. It’s not at all racist to say the immigration numbers are way too high. It’s basic maths.

NOW admitting that they messed up with Immigration numbers is too little too late. Canada has now been changed forever because of this governments unjustified immigration levels.

Will they be leaving their rancid Islam behind too or creating a parallel version of Pakistan in some grubby corner of Canada?
