Hurts me seeing these people like this but I do not approve any of it nobody should enter any country illegally \n\nI was 12 when my mom and dad left for the US \nthey both left when I was 12 and my brother 14 \nLeft us by ourselves in a third world country sending us 100$ a month to survive \n\nso I waited and waited for 8 god damn long years \nfor me to get a stupid interview that was done in 5 minutes with me barely saying any words. \n8 years it took me just to get a interview with the U.S. embassy \n\nYeah that needs to change obviously \n\nBut when I look at this people I only get disgusted and reminded how much bs I had went trough not being able to have my mom and dad near me as a kid because we went on the “right” path

You know what, I’m an immigrant too. I came to America in 1988 from a communist country to have a better life and have religious freedom. But it took us more than 5 years, if not more, to get approved and jump every hurdle, every flaming hoop, and else they asked us to do, BUT, WE DID IT! Why do people think it’s ok to be able to come here illegally when others have to Jump through hoops to get here? A country without rules will fall into anarchy. So many people do shit the right way, why do others think it’s ok to say fuck it and became a burden on the economy? Everywhere around the world, there are borders in place, and they’re there for a reason, to keep order, and to prevent illegal entry. Nobody’s saying not to come here, or that you’re not welcome or wanted here. But you have to do it the right way. Millions of people had to do it like that, by the books, the right way, you don’t get a free pass to come here illegally cause it’s hard, or it takes a long time. My in law US veteran spend around 10 years dealing with Veterans Affair to get his retirement fullfill then last minute they demand him to take a drug test ; imagine in ten years been poor he would of end up doing. i live in a almost 65year old 8by6 CANVAS trailer with zip up windows and door in the SF bay area in California. its so expensive to live here i cant get us out of the giant hole of shit im stuck in. were stuck in. its been 3 years. the cops impounded my only car for expired registration some months back. i work 11hours a day doing heavy physical labor for 140 bux a day and im the only english speaking guy in the whole company lol . everyone i work with has an apartment and cars and a family 3times the size of mine and all of them r here illegally and somehow im the only one struggling to keep my family afloat. my daughter turns ten in two weeks and said the only thing she wishes for was a normal house with her own room...\nsometimes i feel like im living in the twilight zone..

Bruh. These people are running from a war torn country. I don't get why people are so pissed about these guys doing this. Sure it's illegal. Sure it uses resources. But uhh. It's our own governments fault for not using our taxes to pay for the things we need when we're in need. My best friend started her immigration process in 2017. She was finally green lit to come to America in 2019 after marrying her long time husband over in Europe and then getting the paperwork done here in the US during that time Covid hit, and when they closed all the borders, they stopped all of the immigration process to America meaning that she was stuck in Europe away from her husband for three years. Finally last year after making her go back through the process getting all of her paperwork re-done, paying another $5000 she was able to come to the US just last month she got the start of her paperwork for her green card to work here in the US and become a full US citizen. It’s been a long process. It infuriates me that people like that who are honest, hard-working people who want to come to the US and start a life after being married, proven to have jobs and want to pay taxes and support a system. That’s willing to take them in get held up because of people like this want to come here illegally Big cause of whatever the reasons are trying to circumvent and skip over the people who are trying their hardest to do it the right way in the first place, dust dragging the system further down.

This is America people. I am waiting to my aos over years and now im facing another backlog. If you are legal it’s really tough in United States to getting aos. But on the other hand they are so many people who crossed illegally got so much benefit besides aos thanks to tax payers including me. This country is completely broken system. Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any other president (more than Trump I believe), Trump stiffened up the border, and Biden made measures to actually make it tougher for these Venezuelan immigrants to get into the US once the migrant herd was moving north. This is a result of Venezeula and their economic collapse. If it happened sooner, it would've happened during Trump's time. I'm sure once Biden is out and a republican is president (looks that way), they'll try it again. Even Mexico doesn't want them since they have their economic issues to deal with.

I spent more than 10 year to get my paper with two master degree and high position in the tech company while paying ridicules amount of taxes. Why are these people feel entitled to get here illegally and how come our government is turning a blind eye. And they wonder why people will vote for trump.

My journey to permanent citizenship took 5 long hard years of hard work, impeccable record of residency with no issues with any law or law enforcement, slogged through employment at the company who sponsored (much lesser pay). Canada is soo weird. University students who spend 100k+ on education and are in the Canadian system are having problems getting residency, whereas shady people who get here illegally or get residency by immoral do it without much problem.
