It's not even just in Brampton even 1 to 2 hours away immigrant and international students take all customer service jobs to the point that Canadians can barely get hired into these roles because we have expectations and rights that we worked for and I've seen these immigrants willing to work for less than legal minimum wage and they do not stand up for themselves or work towards having any shared rights. In addition many politicians on both sides of the aisle are rental landlords so only stand to profit from low rental vacancies and cramming as many people into a small space as possible. They've also cut funding to a lot of post-secondary institutions who rely on inflating tuition cost for international students. At my current role on a team of 15 people plus one manager there are only three white people, born and raised Canadians. The rest are all Indians including the manager and will frequently talk amongst themselves loudly in Punjabi while we're trying to serve customers in the English language. That's actually against policy but Canadians are so outnumbered by immigrants and specifically Indians in this place that it never gets enforced properly. I've never been anti-immigration but it's gotten so bad in Canada especially in places like Ontario that I'm now against it and will tell anyone regardless of their skin color to avoid immigrating here. I've been on a wait list for a doctor for over 11 years, I know people who have died from cancer due to delayed referrals due to long wait list for additional screening, it's insane and absolutely ridiculous especially considering the amount of taxes I currently pay and have paid my entire life as a born and raised Canadian.\n\nAlso it's absolutely true every single one is either taking or has taken post-secondary studies in business admin or management. We don't need more people in these fields we need Healthcare sector workers and not a single one that I've spoken with which again is quite a few studied anything related to medicine Healthcare nursing... not one.

Some people get subsidized housing, but those housing are not the best places you would want to live. Mostly in poor neighborhoods and neglected. \n\nI came here and took myself back to school. One of the programs I did was an eye opener Leaderahip program. It gave me a glimpse of who I am and what potential I carry. And boom, I realized this is not my place. My life is not just about working and paying bills, it’s more. And this more can only grow home. Otherwise I will keep working with slow growth in employment, and come back home when I can’t live my full potential \n\n\nIf you have to, leave, come to Canada. Exposure is worthwhile. Make sure you take a technical course, avoid debts. Go back home and grow with your country. \n\nKenya is our Canaan.

I wanted to visit NY in the past few years. I probably will never go. With the situation at hand my safely trumps over leisurely travel. My aunt how ever visited on December had the nerve to tell me oh we got taken out by a friend to show us around she’s a cop only way we would have went out. I am going to tell you all the truth. I moved away from Canada in 2006 and lived in China up until 2019 (moved back to Canada). I saw China develop into a superpower, hiccups and inflation galore. But taxes are relatively fair and the opportunity to build something was always present. I find Canada has become a terrible choice especially now (totally neutral standpoint). If you didn't get into the housing market pre-pandemic, it will be harsh and you will be either a mortgage or tenant slave. The taxes are outrageous, utilities, insurance... these items are MUCH higher than China (and most countries). Owning a vehicle comes with high costs and you basically need one if you don't live in a top tier city. And then you are overpaying in living costs. Income tax (25-60%), property tax (about a month's salary), HST (13%)... and what do you get in return? A broken healthcare system, more freedoms (debatable), your children learning about woke agendas? An inadequate pension? If you are not in the top 5-10% (and I am), this is a very bad deal. My advice is to try to earn online with a passion and live in a location where you can actually save. Coming to Canada for the experience is great. But trying to build up in Canada is not a great choice. I am on the winning side warning you, Canada is saturated... look elsewhere.
