Well Canada has had hundreds of thousands of illegals invade Canada coming in from the US, usually through the Ontario borders. Glad you get to take a few of them back. I wonder if they would welcome a senior Canadian in a sanctuary city? Seems like they get to live far better than either US seniors OR Canadian seniors

Crazy how some states here and all of Britain is sharing this problem all at the same time. Genuinely doesnt seem like its ever slowing down.
2024-08-04 0
Seems to me that New York is getting exactly what they asked for; but now are finding out that it is not what they want; Shocking! When they get their version of socialism installed, the exact same thing is going to happen!!!!!!!
2024-08-04 0
Out of curiosity, is there any real movement by ordinary citizens in nyc to revoke the sanctuary city status? The democrats running NY state and NYC seem to be making money off these migrants and crininals. Free federal funding feom Washington dc and guaranteed money to hotels who host migrants, good for politicians and hotel owners but bad for the people.

Cry me a river bòo hoo. I guess it was ok when only Texas, Az., NM. . In Houston it seems to be 1/2 non citizens.
2024-08-04 0
WTH?!?! They have better clothes, phones, and make almost as much as many hard working citizens (for doing nothing). The plan to break the country is going along without a hitch, it seems.
2024-08-04 0
It seems like for 4 years straight yall are dealing with our fires both literally and figuratively
2024-08-04 0
It seems like trudu is sending troops ?
2024-08-04 0
What happens, is the USA the only capitalist country that works or functions? Nowhere else is this working, it seems. I ask it with respect
2024-08-04 0
I thought this guy used to do videos on real estate in New York? Seems like he has some concerns now.
2024-08-04 0
This is great, I wonder why the people aren’t complaining to the democrat administration, or their senator they voted for? Seems like the democrats are more like sheep and just keep voting for democrats without any thought of the consequences.
2024-08-04 0
Seriously what the fcuk are you guys doing over there, ny seems to be turning back into 70s and 80s lawlessness
2024-08-04 0
Have you stopped to think that the NYC policies are actually the cause for the crisis? And it is the State of Texas that has closed the southern border along its border with Mexico not the Federal Government.\n\nDeclaring yourself a sanctuary city was a noble, selfless, generous, magnanimous deed. And then the illegal aliens showed up. Yep, you sure showed President Trump who was boss when it came to immigration matters when you refused to cooperate with the Customs and Border Patrol and the INS when it came to deportations and immigration holds. And now you are complaining about the number of illegal aliens showing up? Please make some sense as it sure seems that you are not making one iota of sense.

As a Canadian - the immigration tom-foolery that is happening is just as bad up here. Our Prime Minister is a handsome idiot, he was a drama teacher before he became Prime Minister (I know, make that one make sense). He has no idea what he's doing, he's being used as a puppet for more experienced extortionists-erm-politicians. With the help of his party members and a coalition with another party, in less than ten years he has taken Canada from a great place to visit and live to basically what's happening in NY. Crime in our cities has gone up dramatically. Theft is on the rise. Homelessness and drug use is through the roof. Immigration is out of control. And our government also prioritizes immigrants and asylum seekers before born and raised Canadian citizens. As a Canadian who is tired of the nonsense that's been happening in the world this past decade, I wish our government would put on their big boy pants and do something about this uncontrolled immigration. Things are bad here too. Our government seems to keep changing policies and laws to further accomodate the insanity that is happening, I promise, not every Canadian wants these changes to happen. We are just as sick and tired of all this nonsense as our American cousins. I wouldn't be surprised if both countries at some point united in objective and worked together to fix this problem - but that's not gonna happen anytime soon as long as these dummies are in power. But believe me, the regular people of Canada see what you're going through because it's also happening in our own back yard. From this Canadian, I wish you all strength and courage in the coming days, we're all going to need it. God bless, and stay safe everyone <3

It seems that countries want to start a civil war and later interfere as heroes..
2024-08-04 0
Hmm, politicians allowing things that the citizens didn't vote on, what is that called, hmmm. Seems to be allowed worldwide, hmmm. Nothing to see here.
2024-08-04 0
thank you for the coverage of this issue\nas a Canadian who lived in Texas for a couple of years back at the turn of the century before 911, things sure seem to have changed at the borders,
2024-08-04 0
We need to elect Trump and invade and take over Canada it seems.
2024-08-04 0
It seems that for what the southern seekers are paying the rip-off coyotes they could pay for flying to Montreal and walking across to New York without that horrendously difficult and dangerous journey.
2024-08-04 0
I gotta say though man- what I want isn't gonna happen but I don't know if it's a good idea to border lock the nation seeing as how this all seems to be on purpose to further separate the wealthy and poor I think the nations leaders want the cities like this the cities are likely insured or something to that effect so if Russia or the Middle East or a sleeper cell targets a major city it'll wipe out the drugs addicts and criminals thatve been corralled there
2024-08-04 0
Hey, nothing has been shut down, we are just told it is to shut us up. Think about it, how can this be good without control in place to begin with. If we had illegal entry under control and legal entry control in place, go for it, but now it seems like an invasion and our leaders don't seem to care. Prove me wrong
2024-08-04 0
I appreciate this reporting. To some it might seem anti-immigration, but I thought you did a great job reporting on the issue while keeping politics out of it. Kudos to you, guess Journalism isn't a total lost cause after all.

Well, NY wouldn't vote republican is Robot Hitler was on the democrat ticket. And they seem to have unlimited tax money to help migrants very much like our federal government does but nothing to help working people. And this is why Texas and Florida continue to grow and NY continues to shrink. As long as they don't send them to swing states to try to cheat the election, I say great. Maybe some of them will become citizens one day.

1:55 Do people flying extreme poverty can literally fly on airplane to Canada? In Peru I am not in extreme poverty so I don't feel I need a U.S. sanctuary city to feed me, but I cannot afford such trips. That help to wealthy people seems unfair - _ -
2024-08-04 0
And yet, Canadians have been dealing with migrants crossing from the US into Canada, stressing the asylum services, shelters and social services. \nIt would seem this is a revolving door.
2024-08-04 0
Many have extreme poverty here!! Many have lost jobs, but we wonder if illegals are being hired by corporations.\n\n They have enough money to fly here??\n\nIs the whole world in need of asylum? That seems strange, but then why isn't that being addressed? Im in India regularly...I haven't seen any changes, in fact they have Modi in place again, and are happy. They are after Muslims for what they are doing there. So there needs to be a serious vetting program in place here!\n\nRepublicans want to shut down benefits to citizens, but these guys are getting phones, housing, money cards for 1400.\n\nYes, this is a huge problem. Rural Canada never needed a wall...it's a friend of 'Merica.\n\n????????

Love how they can get help honestly I do but it is not fair to everyone else specially the families that were born here and needed help for years already. It’s setting a horrible example specially for people wanting to commit crimes it seems like there’s no punishment for anything anymore. I can’t see any of this being good for the people or the country ?‍♂️. I live hours away from nyc and the crime is already spreading out here having neighbors being harassed and property being stolen it’s truly getting out of hand ?‍♂️
2024-08-04 0
What do they think they’re gonna do when they get there ? Seems more like an invasion than simply migrants
2024-08-04 0
Glad Canada’s sending their best illegals so they can live off the American tax payers dime, Canadians are taxed enough. Send them all they seem to be very well paid to live in NY.
2024-08-04 0
Seems like we need to lean on Canada to require visas for people to visit from third world sh!tholes.
2024-08-04 0
Utter insanity, yes I feel for the less fortunate regardless from where they come from but to surrender your own country, destroying your own standard of living is ridiculous. Multiculturalism seems a big lie and focusing on our differences as those with a voice seem determined to continue is sure to end horribly
2024-08-04 0
From one frying pan to another. They are fleeing poverty to another city that is riddled with poverty, crime, etc. They need to go back to their own damn country and fix it themselves. Why escape? This seems like an invasion.

I don’t think it’s Indian people’s fault for not being able to fit in the culture and laws in Canada. It’s a government issue. 10% of Singaporean population is Indian Singaporean but no one there dare to do crappy things like people do in Canada because the laws there are no joke and culture there requires people to be respectful to others or they get sever consequences. And everyone there seems to adapt to the jurisdiction in Singapore and culture very well eventually. People there are nice and very civilized regardless of their colors and backgrounds. Go to Singapore for once and you will understand.

thank you for the video/ i am sooo tired of all these people who expect the Romans to do as they do and place unending demands / this is not what immigration was like in the past/ there is no benefit to over population/ but it seems that the goal of some of our politicians and businessmen is indeed just that/ unless perhaps they plan to send the new immigrants up to the high north where nobody wants to live/

No one really wants them it seem strange why not Iran they seem to be feeding the war

Perhaps its time for us to speak up and get the media to listen to employees instead of the ultra-wealthy so we can become efficient and well rested like many European labor forces, and not become the next Japan which seems to ignore employee needs.\n\nLet's give workers 5 or so weeks of actual time off as in Europe to prevent chronic burnout so we can keep up their productivity. Lets stimulate domestic tourism through this actual time off and revitalize rural Canada, creating business opportunities and jobs. Lets let our newly refreshed and productive workforce create world class companies like in Germany. \n\nAll it requires is we treat employees whether local or newcomer with respect, that labor organizations and companies cooperate to prevent burnout, and we have strong labor laws to prevent abuse by bad employers so employees can have enough time for friends, family, and things they like to do. This sounds easy, so lets fix this productivity crisis.\n\nJust my opinion.

Liberals don’t believe Canada has its own culture and identity…and as it stands our children and grandchildren will have a much tougher time making ends meet….down with the liberals..they seem to care and support newcomers more than people who have lived here for generations

I live in Quebec and love winter, but I do sometimes dream of living somewhere like Hawaii or California where I could eat ripe avocados and grow so much food all year round. I could build a tiny home (less regulations - so much red tape here - and cheaper bc less need of insulation and heating) and go swimming every day. This is pretty idealistic though, and could probably do these things in non-american countries. Would I consider moving to the United States? Sure I would consider it. Would I though? Probably not. Why? Similar reasons to many folks in this country:\n- lack of women's rights (still growth to do here too)\n- lgbtqia+ discrimination (here as well, but definitely to a lesser extent)\n- racism (we have this here too though... just maybe less nazis?)\n- guns (this terrifies me... anyone I know who has a gun here has it only for hunting and it's locked up in a gun case, which I think is required, when not in use)\n- healthcare (though I'm not in love with our system... I'm currently on a huge waiting list for an mri, the waiting lists to get a doctor are obscene, and can't access dental or mental health support... some of our hospitals are in such poor shape...)\n- politics and MAGA (terrifying that so many people think like that... though our political parties are pretty fucked up too... just not to the same extent)\n- school systems that teach kids the world is as old as the Bible says\n- police and prison industrial complex (seems less personal and terrifying from the outside)

These white agenda pushing elites seem to think they can just suggest an agenda and everyone else will be mesmerised by their 'logic'. This reporter makes me feel ill with her assumed superiority

Ill never understand the money argument. 6 figures is easy to get and you can buy houses for as little as 30k \nIt seems ppl just arent educated

it's not just Brampton, people all over the country say the same. Doesn't feel like Canada anymore but like India. I'm not racist but I feel like I don't belong here and out of place which is very wrong. Canadians from long family tree people here and even of aboriginal descent feel like minority here now. Just feel like we are getting squeezed out of our country and we didn't even do anything wrong. They seem to have radically different beliefs too.

As an American here. I am pro Palestinian. BUT, can someone explain why this British guy is acting this way????\nIs there something going on in England that I am not privy to???\nBecause this guy to me seems pretty unhinged. Then again, I have never been to England.\nSo again, can someone explain something I might be missing...

How do we make Biden and Kamala supporters acknowledge this so they can wake up from their coma? It seems they are again more than ready and willing to give them a free pass.

The only people to blame for this is the immigration dept. If they had proper rules in place then only proper educated and decent people would've come there instead of many people with criminal or rowdy background who even falsify there IELTS score. As someone said in comments that most of the people in Canada especially Brampton are from small villages in Punjab who have barely seen n lived in big cities in India itself. And it's true everyone in India knows that Brampton is mini Punjab, Punjab with cold weather. I have many friends who have gone to Canada and some of them were living in Brampton also for some time, but everyone left, they all say that Brampton is just a rowdy place and does not seem like you are in a developed country coz of the ruckus the Punjabi people make their and most of the educated people going from India to Canada wants to avoid Brampton.

I found groceries to be really cheap in the lower states, like Texas. But, as you move north, and especially the states next to Canada, the grocery and cost of living prices seem much higher. The labour may be much less costly in the states bordering mexico?
