100% agree to Mr. Ozan, they are particularly mean and harsh when it comes to talking to non-europeans in English. Mr. Ozan made a good question that how do Germans talk to Italians and Frenchs? English or something not German. I am new and I am willing to learn alongside my full-time course and part time job. It's not like the government has made any conditions while granting the visa. I have met many genuine Germans who don't know english but they are kind enough to express what they want to say, but employees in some stores are so rude and deliberately say Nein when asked for help in english. Like wtf.

Please calm down people , everything will be fine. Affordability is problem for everyone, also for students, they paid 3* more in fees (or invested in a way) compared to domestic students (facts) . They have done their part, it is the responsibility of people on higher positions to create infrastructure with that money for Canadians. These rich are not doing their part. Peace

Canadian immigration is illogical, horribly planned, greedy, self-destructive, the list goes on... The worst part is that even if we somehow completely shut down our boarders (which will never happen), the recent immigrants are the type to establish much larger families than the average Canadian household. \n\nThink about how this will domino in the coming generations. Canada is doomed, it's already too late.

Hey! I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada,population around 1.2 million. We have a huge awesome river and river valley that is utilized year round. There are non stop festivals, right now we have the Cari West the largest Caribbean festival in western Canada. Our tap water is amazing, my daughter rents the main floor of a renovated house that includes a garage for 1,400 a month. Gorgeous south side neighbourhood within walking distance to anything. Lots of imperfections as it is a big city and yes there is crime but it does not define what I do and where I go except possibly late at night. The cold in the winter is tolerable for the most part but that doesn’t stop any one from outdoor activities. Just put your warm clothes on and just get out there. I get fed up with winter when it drags on but all of a sudden we’ve been having record breaking heat this summer so I am looking forward to Autumn. We’re 4 hours from the fabulous Rocky Mountains and the wonderful city of Calgary is about an hour 1/2 from there. Alberta is my province and Edmonton is my home. The rest of Canada varies from one province to another. PS. We’ve travelled to various locations in the U.S. and were always treated well and enjoyed our visits, just sayin!

I grew up in the country since I was born (I turn 30 next year), and it's the most beautiful place I've ever seen. But I want to leave, because (as an employed electrical engineer), I will never be able to afford a house or a family. And the values of kindness and generosity that seemed an integral part of Canadian society have been replaced by apathy, indifference, and selfishness. People have given up, leadership is completely out of touch, and the general hate for humanity I encounter on a daily - DAILY - basis makes this place almost unliveable.

Canada has to start recognising degrees from other countries. Here in B.C. we have emergency rooms closing overnight due to lack of staffing. We need doctors and nurses yet the barriers for those immigrating to get their degrees recognised mean many never qualify.\n\nCanada also needs to look at who we are admitting in and to terminate the family unification policy. When immigration was helping the country grow there was a different demographic coming in. Often it was single men or young married couples. As they came by themselves they assimilated into the mosiac of the country. When you concentrate on immigrants from one country instead of assimilating they setup ethnic communities. \n\nLook into what study groups have said that is contributing to gang violence. It's ethnic groups that have the grandparents, parents and grand kids all living in one home. The grandparents want the grand kids to adhere to their native culture. Unfortunately by time you get to the grand kids they are Canadian. They speak English/French depending where they live with little interest in speaking their ethnic language. There is cultural conflict within the home hence street life is where they find love and caring.\n\nSome cultures are not as community minded. Part of the high cost of renting/housing is based on greed not need. In my own community I know of apartment units now renting at 2,500 - 4,000/month owned by the same people that even five years back you could have rented for 500 - 800. There is no justification for that percentage of increase other than greed.\n\nJob opportunities. Summer employment for school kids is going down yearly. You see local business that use to hire students over the summer month claiming they can't find any workers. They bring in TFW yet Canadian students can't find work. You can tell the owners nationality of a business by the nationality of the workforce. A local store bought by a east Indian two years ago which at the time had a diverse workforce is now entirely staffed by east Indians. Yet who screams racist? \n\nCanada definitely needs to reconsider its immigration policy and bring in major changes.

This should not be right because why are we not OK? I understand different parts of the world has things I’m born Canadian as far as my family and millennia and Canada were third generation here in Canada with Caribbean European and American descent all that being said I don’t care how people comes to Canada ?? but we should get the best of the best and I feel like Since they have a job since I work with the airline, why can’t they just apply for a transfer? The tenancy laws are broken. Part of why we have a rental and housing crisis is because all the laws favour renters and disincentivise anyone from being a landlord. If landlords had more recourse there would be way more rentals on the market.

Human race is and always has been for the most part a vile, violent and evil species. That is the definite constant throughout human history. It's almost fitting that the imminent environmental collapse will wipe most of us out, regardless if we are Christians, Muslims, rich or poor. I'm confused. What part of it should be illegal? Claiming asylum generally? Quitting your job while outside of your country? Does having a job mean you cannot claim asylum?\n\nAre they hiding when they get here which is why the visa part is important, or claiming asylum? If they're claiming asylum, and they aren't eligible, maybe we should make sure we have enough courts to hear them out and send them back.

You have to separate the cause from the act. The cause is the government policy. So why is the government promoting this policy? In the Soviet Union Josef Stalin made it his policy to move populations around so that there were no national majorities anywhere. In this way he was able to suppress around 130 million for decades. And when the Soviet Union finally did collapse, it was in the areas with a national majority (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Azerbaidjan, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kirgystan, Turkmenistan. It was no coincidence.\n\nCanada today is a dictatorship. There is no freedom of speech, no freedom of thought. Just look at what happened to the truck drivers during covid-19. Or look what is now happening to Jordan Peterson now. What is going on is unconstitutional, and it is the government who is behind it. The purpose of the migration is to change Canada into a minority state just as it happened in large parts of the Soviet Union. The issue is not with immigrants or immigration, rather a lack of social structures. Canada has one of the highest taxation, with the lowest return spending on social structures, as compared to their high ranking counter parts.
