The bad people are exploitative landlords and employers (and trudeau), not the influx of young peaceful immigrants. I am reading the comments and it seems like most people commenting didn’t actually take the time to listen to the interview. He is calling out the government out for political and reactionary changes based on sliding poll numbers as opposed to a coherent immigration policy. He specifically says that this government allowed certain sectors to get addicted to temporary foreign workers. These changes are political as this government is more concerned with political survival than the needs of Canada and Canadians.

Coming to Canada for an education does not, and should not guarantee permanant residency in Canada. Not our problem if anyone assumed different. We need to stop allowing the influx of low skilled immigrants. We need doctors; nurses, engineers, tradespeople, etc..we have enough uber/skip the dishes drivers, sandwich artists, and baristas. Our youth can't even find jobs because of the amount of low skilled immigrants we bring in, and the amount of temporary foreign workers we allow.

I love my second gen immigrants Indians and they're parents the immigrated properly, not coming in as students and demand PR and don't want to leave. No houses. No jobs. These students smash cars, have 0 manners, throw garbage on streets, 20 in homes, increased crimes and total disrespect to citizens that have lived here for generations. There is nothing wrong with immigration if it is properly regulated. There should be a standard to earn immigration and the system needs to be strict with youth who come here as students. So many immigrants don’t even bother to learn the language. The hospitals are over crowded.

Canada needs to bring 5 million immigrants from Eastern Europe, like Poland, Portugal, Romania, Ukraine, Serbia, Bosnia, Lithuania, Estonia, Hungary, Macedonia etc. Just look at the Eastern Europeans in Canada, they and their Canadian born children and grandchildren have learned and speak the English language fluently.
