This man crossed through several countries before arriving in North America. By law he should be deported to one of those countries where he changed planes or travelled through. He has ZERO right to be in Canada or North America . . . using a fringe community to exploit a loophole in the law is an abomination. It's really difficult to understand the bureaucracy.\n\nBureaucracy:\nIt took me 9 months to get a working permit.\nFor a renewal, I had to make an appointment to have an appointment... The last time they offered me an appointment after 1.5 years.\n\nYou don't get a right answer from the people who works there. Your life depends on those people.\n\nAs an expat who lives 3.5 years in Germany, I still don't have an German bank account which is not online. Basically, they don't open the account or giving an appointment to over 1 months or etc. \n\nBut this bureaucracy is for all. Germans also have the same issue.\n\nHousing is also an issue. I tried to apply the same places by my name and a German name. It was possible to get an appointment by a German name :) \nBut I do understand them that they find Germans of course more trustworthy.\n\nCulture:\nI don't think many people are racist here. I even live in Mecklenburg Vorpommern. They were mostly nice to me. However, the city you live change a lot. Hamburg is one of the best city about welcoming expats. People are nice and kind. Never had an issue here.

The war should be stopped and a peaceful solution reached by BOTH parties because Israel isn’t going anywhere. When the British toppled the Ottoman Empire (early 1900s) and claimed their spoils of battle (land) they created what became modern Israel as is the rights of a victor in battle……BUT Palestinians were also carved out land to live in that region so they must be able to co-exist peacefully somehow. Palestinians were migrating out incrementally even when their were no active immediate conflicts because that’s what people do in search of better quality of life, it just usually always happens to be western countries they migrate to on their own volition ? countries can solve their own problems by limiting their migratory intake yearly across all categories instead of trying to assert blame to countries like SA, this is reasonable.

Wealthy societies, like Canada, began with charity supporting refugees in the whole world. This is based on the Ideologie of human rights. This big scale charity will be financed of tax of these Wealthy countries. I immigrated to Canada in 1992 from Eastern Europe and had job in high tech which enabled me to move to US in 1998. \nEven though I went back on occasions to Canada to visit friends, had no idea that things changes for worst so much over years. I saw cost of living and housing going up there, but after reading comments here honestly I am in shock. My wife always regretted leaving Canada which we used to call our second home, but after reading here we seem made a right decision back then…

I left Canada finally after many many years of debating for myself. It’s the best thing I ever did. I have a really good job, that pays me more than three times my monthly overhead. After literally struggling in Canada for 30+ years as an adult trying to keep a job amongst colleagues that hate you for everything that I was and wasn’t, had and didn’t have. I’m very happy that I left and can go to work peacefully everyday, without needing to feel like I’m a piece of crap that doesn’t have the right to exist. I came to Canada at age 12 with my parents. And was always called names, always under minded, overlooked, put down, bullied and never had a single job that also contributed to my pension. When I left Canada, immigration Canada emailed me daily for three months telling me to come back to Canada IMMEDIATELY lol. Because my home country wasn’t safe enough to live in. I’m from Belgium. It’s much safer, friendlier, empathic and prosperous than Canada ever was
