you wouldn't need foreign workers if they tightened up the EI program-----many people in atlantic canada and quebec only work for 14 to 16 weeks and get a layoff------they don't even try to get another job-----most crab fishermen only fish for a couple of weeks and then become eligible for benefits-----and then they wonder why you can't find workers for shops or restaurants

There are few decent jobs in Canada. Most immigrants work in coffee shops and fast-food restaurants.

The Canadians have no idea about over crowding of immigrants. Come to Europe and open your eyes to the problems here. The EU which is only slightly larger than Canada (9.9m sq km vs 10.1m sq km) but has had over 30 million immigrants since the 1980s. Canada is a vast empty country compared to any EU Country, there is loads of land there to build new homes, but they don't for some unknown reason.

I'm sorry, but being persecuted somewhere else in the world shouldn't qualify you for Canadian citizenship. To be a Canadian citizen you should be a good fit with the rest of Canada (and existing Canadians should get to decide how that works). Today I took a short trip on a bus , I saw two recent migrants: one old black man in wheelchair and huge young but mentally ill black man - he was screeming and throwing his enourmous fists all time during the trip - passengers were terrified. It is very different picture from what was 20 years ago.

This is the problem with Canada and most of the West these days. Work some kind of BS job(web entrepreneur etc) and doesn't really contribute to the country like by raising a nuclear family. It's the aftermath of feminism. They just end up traveling the world figuring out themselves instead of really building their own country. The money that you pay in taxes has really no value. It's the kids that you could bear that would. That's the modern woman too.\n\nSo yeah governments try to solve this problem, which doesn't happen only in Canada but more across the West), by outsourcing its young people to third world countries like India. But that just compounds the problem because there are just more people, and more old people with time who aren't working.

I grew up in Brazil, been living in the UK for a long time, I've been to Toronto in 2017 and LA, New York, I saw homelessness everywhere. In the UK things have been bad for a long time. Accommodation is very expensive and landlords are very dishonest. I would definitely assume the UK has become a Third World Country. \n\nI would love to live in Canada but these days, Canada, US, Australia, UK and even New Zealand are very expensive places to live. I am aware more and more Westerns are moving to Southeast Asian countries > Cheap, Good people, Good food and is not full of drugs as it is in Western countries.

There are no policy failures happening. Extreme left governments around the western world including the US, Australia, New Zealand, Great Britain, and Canada’s liberal Trudeau government are INTENTIONALLY dismantling our societal infrastructure ... economic, social, health, and spiritual. This is a highly subjective ranking of Canada's provinces. I have lived in both Alberta and BC, and, in my opinion, small-town BC is the best place to live. The biggest problem is housing affordability.
