Number 7 is no joke. Racism in Canada is very disturbing. Not only is there a strong invisible wall between the caucasians and non-caucasians, there is animosity amongst immigrants such as Indians vs Chinese and others and there is no eye contact amongst people living there.

I am an immigrant in the U.K. for over 30 years and this is my pint of view… One common remarkable characteristic of us, all immigrants, is the fact that we will always criticise the country we are living in, due to the fact that we will always miss our origins, no matter how good or bad both countries are, and most of us subconsciously live our lives waiting for that settlement of living in the perfect place, ideally our original place of birth with all the positives according to the way we think, act and believe. You are a young couple with strong opinions, who will only find the right path for your family by living the experiences, and learning from them. At some point in our lives, reality always kicks in. May I suggest China. In terms of personal security (especially pertinent for children and women) and freedom to express your Islamic faith, China is a strong contender. I am Malaysian currently living in Alberta. If I may add 1 more point which made me feel strongly not to move to Canada is the healthcare accessibility. \n\nIt is very important to me and my family and we do not see it getting any better anytime soon. I am indonesian, but i’ve lived in Japan and the US for study purpose, and i relate to your experience. Eventhough i had a strong moslem community when i was in Japan/US, and halal food was accessible there, i was still feeling uncomfortable that as a moslem i couldn’t express my identity freely. Whenever i wanted to go for a roadtrip or place outside of my city, i need to search if halal food was available in there or not, while in Indonesia i don’t have to worry about halal food, almost all food are halal, the restaurant usually inform us if their are not halal. Another experience is that in non-moslem country, they didn’t provide many prayer rooms or mosques, that’s also sickening for me. I mean i don’t mind to pray in a random parking lot, or in a park, or in an emergency stairs, or in changing room in mall, or any random places; but i really missed my country where prayer room is available anywhere, you can find prayer room in gas station, in a restaurant, in the mall, in airport/bus station/train station, etc. Also mosques are everywhere too. You are easily going to find mosque after walking around 200m, well yeah there is a reason why Indonesia is a country with the most number of mosques in the world. Another thing is islamic class. When i was in Japan, i could only join an islamic class where people gather to listen from syeikh (or we call it as “pengajian”) once in every other months, in the US was better, mosque in mu place held islamic class every other day. However, in Indonesia, islamic classes are everywhere, it’s like every mosque held their own class, until to the point that i am confused what should i follow because there are so many options ?. The last is that, in moslem country or at least in my country, finding moslems outfit is very easy. So yeah, overall, i prefer to live in moslem countries. Alhamdulillah i was born in moslem country, and alhamdulillah my country’s situasion, eventho not perfect, is peacefull.

I have been living in Canada for over 20 years now, staying in Mississauga & not sure about the druggies everywhere statement, may be true about downtown TO. We also have a strong muslim community around us, ofc azaan five times a day and access to pray easily I do understand is missing here as in any non muslim country of the world. There are a lot of halal food options here now..esp in the past few years. Regardless of where you stay, it is my belief that you carry your deen with you, its a way of life and can be practised & taught to children in any part of the world. I do get the point about winters, but then summers are harsh in alot of countries like the Middle East & ppl stay mostly indoors. To each their own & I wish you the best in your decision! ❤

As an indian who suddenly grew curious about Canadian politics and society in recent times (thanks to JT and his credible allegations), it seems like canada is fast turning into a socialist/communist economy like Russia but without the strong control of the centre. Without a strong centre or a central figure handling things at the top in such an economy, Canadian policies regarding immigration, internal security, trade and economy etc are all in doldrums. Add to that, canada is harboring serious anti social elements within it's border who will strike back at canada itself if the things remains out of control. Being a homogenous society, I don't except canada to follow the fate of USSR, but definitely it is on the way to become the first world Syria.

Assalamu’alaikum. Please check out Brunei Darussalam. I’m not saying that there are only pros but I think they do outweigh the cons. It’s similar to Malaysia in many aspects in terms of official religion i.e. Islam, language I.e. Malay (English is widely spoken though), culture, etc. It has very low crime rate so it’s very safe. I’m not sure about the immigration laws but you can easily check it out. I strongly believe it’s worth your while to check it out if you haven’t. Hope to see you here! As a Hindu I would strongly stand against this, our Sikh brothers sisters have the right to maintain their religious culture.

I am an American Pagan but I have many Hijabi friends and I have always strongly upheld that I will catch an assault charge to protect a Muslima who is attacked/exposed in a hate crime. I don't support any war but I stand for personal protection and the right for people to practice any religion they choose.

Not sure but Top muslim countries are also supporting Israil like Saudi Arabia, Dubai,..! No words to say on this, for me, wherever you are, your iman is strong so it will not effect you. I am not a mom yet so can not say anything about kids and their education or lifestyle. Here in Australia, I have seen a family of two children, mom is a Muslim and father was sikh so his family also, but the mom has settled everything in islamic way, her children are getting islamic knowledge, daugher wears hijab in school, read Quran, etc. I think you can make your home environment as of islamic so that it does not effect anyone of you , but still I am not sure as I am not a parent yet. Pray I become parent as we are married since 5 years

Assalamualaikum guys! I have been following your channel for awhile and as a Muslim living in Toronto, I definitely understand the reasons you mentioned in the video. One suggestion I have is not to move to the Middle East, at least to Gulf Nations. There is indeed a strong Muslim presence there but I found it deeply problematic how these countries are run by the exploitation of migrant workers, and I'm not sure if that would align with your values. I think somewhere like Malaysia would be a much better option!
