I HAVE to say i am curious why Pierre hasnt addressed this concern. I do hope he is just putting it on the back burner for now but will deal with it swiftly when he becomes PM.

I grew up in Brampton since the early 80s and witnessed the massive cultural/demographic shift over a period of 20 years. Now, it has become the place to go for a lot of the newcomers, and that was what it was. However, with the recent illegal immigration there has been an unprecedented spike in crime. Firearms, drugs, pr@stitution, car theft, and home break-ins have all gone through the roof. I know that it still hasn't reached Toronto status yet, but we are very close considering the size of the population. We need to deal with home first before we take on the worlds problems.

I was out walking my dog and these 2 immigrants approached me and asked me if I would like to talk about Jesus. I suddenly had an uneasy feeling. Based on all of this, it sounds like you are arguing that capitalism has failed in Canada. Corporations have built huge monopolies and are gouging Canadians, and investors are buying up every home/condo they can, instead of letting average people buy them up. It also sounds like you're arguing that the government hasn't done enough to stop it. \n\nCanada certainly has its share of issues, but I don't agree with the tone of this, which is mostly Conservative Party talking points. If they were running things, they'd have let mergers go on and signed bad trade deals with countries, just like they did between 2006 and 2015. The Liberals have made a lot of mistakes, but they also weathered the largest financial and health crisis in the last hundred years. I'm not sure what the fix is, but arguing that the Conservatives would have done any better is specious.

Indians have a very groupism mentality even within themselves although they are very friendly but for example, a group of Indians who are hindu and vegetarian will not welcome even other non-hindu Indians who may be non-vegetarian to live with them. Sometimes students from same study program also stick together and will not include someone from different program even though they go to the same school. But as a community they look out for each other in that way so chances of seeing immigrant Indians dealing with drugs and other crap that the white people do will be almost non existent. \n\nThe other ethnicities might feel threatened due to over whelming majority of Indians and they group together to voice their concern but those ethnicities are individualistic and don't care about the country or each other. They just get heated up in the moment as they don't see people who look like them. If Brampton was all rich white folks but still with a majority on the streets like San Francisco or NYC doing all sorts of crap , nobody will be complaining or make a big deal out of it. Apparently, that's acceptable.

Canada has been the down the road of high immigration in the past, erven in the face of housing shortages. This happened right after World War II. To deal with the shortage of rental housing stock then in the large cities, the government put demands on immigrants and refugees to settle in agricultural areas and small town Canada. But, it seems today that most immigrants just want to go to the already overcrowded cities, especially Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Montreal. Rural Canada is now facing manpower shortages, but has a fair amount of housing, as many small towns have actually shrunk in population over the years. and could use the people. Immigrants assimilate better in small towns.

It very true when they say there are no homes available it's no jock . I'm in bc in a fare size city you may fine 20 at the most single bedroom rentals shared accommodation and maybe one full home if your lucky and you are nit the only one looking thousands are dealing with no housing .

The Liberal government will likely find some form of permit extension for about a year or 2, because to initiate any form of deportation will look bad politically. They will leave the problem for the Conservative government to deal with knowing it will be difficult to depart hundreds of thousands of international Indian students/temporary foreign works (and other people groups), and manipulate the situation to gain political capital.
