The only people to blame for this is the immigration dept. If they had proper rules in place then only proper educated and decent people would've come there instead of many people with criminal or rowdy background who even falsify there IELTS score. As someone said in comments that most of the people in Canada especially Brampton are from small villages in Punjab who have barely seen n lived in big cities in India itself. And it's true everyone in India knows that Brampton is mini Punjab, Punjab with cold weather. I have many friends who have gone to Canada and some of them were living in Brampton also for some time, but everyone left, they all say that Brampton is just a rowdy place and does not seem like you are in a developed country coz of the ruckus the Punjabi people make their and most of the educated people going from India to Canada wants to avoid Brampton.

You can't say Montreal is typical for Canada though. It's always voted among the best major cities to live in. Also, some people can't take the cold. So, even if they moved to Montreal, they might find it a little harsher than expected, in winter months. There's indeed a tolerance of crime vs cold graph people have to consider, when deciding where to live. More people permanently move from Canada to the US, than the other way around. I suspect the weather is the biggest reason.

Been everywhere in Canada and can say for certain, best tap water we have is in Chilliwack, BC! Second place for me would be Edmonton then i’d add in Montreal as a third place.

Many of the facts were some % wrong. Although I love India and happily worked in India for almost decade, but lifestyle and personal life is better in Canada, because in India big business tycoon says people should work for 15-18 hrs. Personal life put on shit. It’s not easy to settle here easily and definitely have to struggle a lot, and that is same in India if u are builting things by your own and not on with family support. Homeless people are being provided with proper shelters and money in Canada, but being druggist they don’t live there. Skilled people here are not struggling much, but if u go in comfort zone and continue with basic jobs, u eventually will struggle. People don’t wna go to distance city, hence all problems.

I would like to add something here to show my gratitude towards Canada. \nI immigrated in Canada and now a Canadian citizen. The best thing Canada has given me are equal opportunities, and system to adopt. \nWhen we immigrated to any country we should respect and obey the rules, culture and values of country. \nIt is hard to say but nowadays some kind of immigrants consultant become greedy and comming students also become blind followers that they are not doing research by themselves. \n\nCanada has very clear and easy to follow immigration rules that any one with basic education can read and understand. There is no place where it is written to give guarantee to PR or extension of the work permit beyond the limit. Usually anyone taking decision to immigrate any another country then obviously need to do some basic and easy home work. \n\nIt is totally not fare and ethically right to protest in the host country to change their clearly defined rules after landing despite of accepting terms while submitting the studen visa. So my humble respect to prospective immigrants and existing students that protesting to change rules in Canada should not be right way to do instead of protest against greedy and lying immigrants consultants who lied with you to save next students and immigrants.

As an international students i would say i would love to stay in canada but i know its not promised when i cam here thats why i am working hard

My family are Central American immigrants. The vast majority of them have been blue collar hard working people that helped shape what we live in today. I am first generation born Canadian coming from this blue collar family of hard working immigrants that earned their Canadian citizenship. I think most of us who have immigrant family from anywhere have seen this. I cannot necessarily say I’ve seen this type of work or drive to contribute from the Indians that immigrate to Canada. Yes there are some who really contribute, but that should be the norm not the exception. I don’t have anything against them, I just really wished Canada would be more diligent on who they let in and how many they let in. This is the result of just opening the flood gates. Canada has always been multicultural, but you gotta earn your keeps.

As an immigrant i have kids and i can say this for sure my kids and your kids will not have a fair options with all the Indians killing the jobs ,schools, roads, small businesses, houses, parks, farm's, and i can go for ever,they are stealing jobs and buying everything and evey politicians with laundry money \n,Explain to your kids how a tim hortons worker can buy a house and a new car when a university graduate cant pay rent ???? \nNumbers prove my point, over 32 years working and paying taxes in Canada yet i cant effort to but a home but a student in college from Punjab can buy a houseand pay 100,000 over asking prices and 2024 car and send money home ????? How ???? Where all this money come from?????

I am an Indian student in Canada and I can say that the government here is very corrupt. You will rarely find student over here who came here to study. Many students can't even communicate in English. It is not safe place for Hindus. The main reason of racism over here our community doesn't want to adopt their culture and not follow the rules. Canadian government brought many below average students here and that is the main reason for unemployment.

It's gone and it's never coming back, my family goes back a thousand years in BC on my mom's side, and close to 200 years on my dad's side from England suffice to say you can trust me when I tell you I know what made Canada great, four or five generations of my family were born and raised here, I've made more money than five generations of my family combined, through career growth and a small measure of skill and talent, I can afford notably less than my parents. In 1980 the average income for boomers was 20 grand, a house in the heart of Kitsilano was 50 grand, that house is now worth four and a half million dollars... A toddler could inform you that that isn't a sustainable business model. Suffice to say if I live to a thousand years I will never see a 10,000% return on investment. The older generations have abandoned the younger generations. There was recently a pole done and it showed that Canada ranks eighth for happiness in the world for over 60, and it ranks 65th in the world for under 35... Case closed. Enjoy communism folks you earned it. ?

I think every day I say to myself. What has happened to the Canada that I loved? I used to be proud but now I feel like I'm in India. Maybe India is cheaper.

A discount retailer called Zellers went out of business.

As an American, I can say that life for Canadians is very uneasy because it is illegal to pay with too many coins, listen to non-Canadian music , and there are no stores like Target. The Canadian discount store ‘Zellers’ went out of business. So many U.S. retailers have left and failed in Canada such as Target and Nordstrom.

Canadians: Why are we always ignored? Every time Canadians are ignored, they start trashing America, and they won't stop complaining until you say Canada is better than America.

They come here and want to run our country. But we say anything then we are in the wrong. As Canadians were getting pushed out and forgotten. As we pay taxes and fill the pockets of the politicians and those come into this country, we get left with nothing but crumbs sometimes even nothing at all. Canada needs to take back Canada.

I was in Canada for 1.5 months and I can say them much better than India. They have flaws but compared to India they are not that major. Human life matters there a lot more than in India. We as Indian expect they should behave like India so that we will get any thing and do things the we are doing in India but we forgetting one thing we are in there country we need to adopt our self according to there standers. Healthcare is worse even with so little population, Indian healthcare is far far better we forget to appreciate specially considering population in India. No customer service in canada, most services are closed on weekends they don’t care even if ur dying.. India see seekh loo customer service. Plus education is worse they charge high fees but professors are worst they higher anyone that fits their budget not on merit. People occupy positions from graduation until they retire so no scope of growth or upskilling and they get threatened by highly qualified and ambitious Indians who come from fast paced environments. I am a big fan of your videos because of their relevance and practicality. However, for this video, I would say that 60-70% is true but 30-40% is inaccurate. I am currently staying in Canada and I am also experiencing some of the mentioned issues at the end, which are prevalent worldwide and have their pros and cons.

Rubbish video and info i earn 50k a year and got approved loan of 4 lakh . You can buy a condo in 3 to 4 lakh , and treatment waiting list according to priority if its really urgent the no needs to wait . What ever if canada India is so much better then India then stay there don’t come here and make our life hard. And I didn’t come here 15 years back or 10 years back. I must says the Canada was the ideal destination a few years ago but seeing the opposite trend now, many people are moving back to their country of origin or either moving to different country where the living cost is affordable, things are not great here and now the Canada's immigration policy are changed significantly as well in which they only give to certain category of worker who meets their labor market needs such as healthcare, STEM, construction worker, traders, french proficient people and others.

i am big fan of your videos but as off i live in Canada since 2022, I am partially agree with you about drug, house rent and medical. \n\nOther than that I’m not agree with your views on loan you can get loan easily in canada.\n\nCanadian government is deporting that students or people who has misconduct the documents or have done some minor crimes or some other issues. \n\nYes there are lots of homeless people in canada but they are homeless because of their own mistakes like drugs and etc not because of the high rent i was a international student and i was paying for my rent. \n\nYes there are so many negative views about canada but most importantly you can earn by your self which is not possible in india. I am super happy that you guys made video on this , stating facts and figures which are completely true, I am student living in Canada, I came from India last year to have change from my routine , and I can say I have faced all most all the issues raised in the video, I do feel that Canada isn’t the problem in my life but it does adds up in my struggle and I would not recommend anyone to come in Canada without knowing the drawbacks, at the same time I don’t feel like it’s the worst country to stay in but , but living here is not sustainable for longer period of time.

Whenever people ask me what it's like living in Canada, I say we pay Switzerland prices but get India quality of living.

I have been in Canada for past 10 years. Life have changed a lot since then. Standard of living has come down. Rent and mortgages increased. Job lay offs. Higher grocery rates and everything have gone up. It’s so hard to survive here. I had a severe sprain in my knee and I could not walk at all. I got MRI appointment 1 year after I went to doctor. This was the worst thing I experienced. My daughter was born very micro premature, doctors took good care of her and she survived here in Canada. We paid 0 dollars. In India the treatment would have costed close to 1 crore or I can say there is no specialized treatments in India for such micro premature babies. I’m thankful to Canada in this case. I have seen best and worst. So I’m neutral here. But I strongly suggest students not to come to Canada at this moment. This country does not have enough jobs, no proper education, no standard of living now

The difference is that the foreign students pay money into the economy and are not housed temporarily in hotels . The Trudeau solution is to reduce the number of foreign students while increasing immigration levels . That's such a good plan. He has also increased the public service by about 80000+ in 8 years, with no noticeable change in the service. He is also raising the capital gain tax to encourage more investment in Canada. Right? Homeless people are everywhere. As for non-aggressive homeless, I cannot say. Racism towards blacks or other minorities compares to other developed countries. Taxes are high on a salary because one has a salary at least. So what I am trying to say, these are issues I agree. I would instead call them areas for improvement, and a country like Canada can do better.

The problem is with how immigration is set up. The general population is ok with immigration as long as most people coming in adapt at least somewhat to Canadian culture while integrating their own.\n\nI'd say thats what Trudeau had/has in mind cause thats what Montreal is like. \nBut its like that cause the Quebec government focuses on secularism & French Nationality which creates a sort of blended dynamic that's still uniquely Quebecois.\n\nThat doesnt work so well in other Provinces.\n\nAlternately, the goverment may be trying to turn Canada into a true melting pot, which would create a different Canadian culture and identity than we currently have. \n\nHowever, that only works out when you bring in an equal # of people from different Countries wnd ethnicities.\n\nWhat we have right now is a system that seems to bring a certain percentage of immigrants per Country. Using that math, India and China will always send out more people as they're the most populous and crowded. Hence why Eastern Canada has a lot of Indian immigrants and Western has a lot of Chinese.\n\nThe government will need to get a handle on it and at least even it out if not also slow the flow, lest we risk a rise in xenophobia/isolationism and racism which has already started to make the rounds.

This has also affected the job market because it is now more expensive for companies to raise investments.\n\nA common theme among the locals against immigration is failure on the immigrants to assimilate. There is a lot of nuance to this situation.\n\nSo yes, if you come from a middle class to upper middle class family that is relatively doing well in India then Canada will feel like the worst place to be.

This is 100% True! Actually the condition is much worst than descirbed in this video.\n\nHealth Care:- Average wait time to get a family doctor is 3-5 years. In simple words, if you have an extremly seious condition then only you get an immediate treatement in Emergency. If you need to see a specialist like dermatologist or orthopedic, average wait time here is 6 months. \n\nRents :- Canada population has increased by over 1 Million every year in past 3-4 years due to libreal immigration policies. However, the goverment did not take any steps to accomodate these people. To give context, Canada has built houses every year to accomodate only 300K people. That is why the average rent(950$) is more than double nowadays (2000$) for the same house/apartment in compare to what was 5-6 years ago. \n\nHome Affordibility:- Average family(two person) income is $75k yearly right now. Average house price in Canada is $700k. The bank only approves mortgage upto 4x times your income. So that is 75 * 4 = $300k mortgage. So you need to make a downpayment of $400k if you want to buy your own home. \nBy the way, the minimum wage job package is only $32k per year. \n\nCrime and Chaos:- Canada has a catch and release policy for repeated criminals. Let's say somebody stole you car and got caught, he will be released on bail in 10 mins. The crime rate has increased 20% in last 5 years. \n\nTaxes:- Average family(two person) earning $75k pays 29% income tax to Goverment for these above mentioned wonderful servies. So in hand they only get around $53k, plus they pay 13% additoanl tax on groceries, clothers, insurance, absoulte everything.

Exaggerated views about a country where you have no personal experience.?. All i can say is life is tough everywhere not just in Canada; get a helmet. Work hard, get a good job and make decisions wisely. success will be on your way then. India is great and Canada is great too. \nThis video is just half baked to provide one sided story.\n1. Waiting times for HC sucks thats true.\n2. Housing crisis true. same situation everywhere not just in Canada.\n3. Medical expenses not covered??? Provincial HC covers the most. Rest is covered by insurance by employers. opt for it and there will be no problems for the expenses then.\n4. Never heard or seen a immigrant getting deported unless individual has done some thing wrong.\n5. Taxes are high and truly not happy about it for the moment but at the same time government gives you back so much in return. Good quality of life, security, infrastructure and more.\n6.
