They were never promised by the Canadian government that they could stay. If Indian consultants made false promises that is not an excuse. Go back to India and apply legitimately to become a permanent resident.

Never mind they get spots in our schools at the expense of young Canadians who have to wait for seats in colleges and Uni’s.And since when do foreign students have a right to stay where they studied . Most Canadians I know who studied abroad were to come back home after graduation. I understand they may have been lied to but Canadian citizens are already having a hard time and these students are taking away jobs from our young Canadians ! Coffee shops have up to 80 percent of their employees are foreign while Canadians are homeless,jobless and houseless ! Why a foreign national who is not a citizen protest to be granted citizenship without following the qualifications of becoming citizens. You are a student and should go back home after you finish your education.

As an Indian, i can assure you that Canada had made mistake long time back.... Prices go up because the dollar is worth less than before so you need more of the currency to represent the same value. The dollar is worth less because the government is constantly injecting more of it into the economy. You want to fix prices? Deflation - take more currency out of the economy in taxes than you put back in in spending, and you do this by reducing spending. This will make workers' paychecks worth more and reinvigorate the economy as people can afford to buy things other than basic food & shelter again.

The difference in the purchasing power of the currencies is brutal on working Canadians who pay very high taxes, but sweet for those going 'back home' on a very regular basis. Furthermore, new business start-ups are lower because the value of the currencies is so wide. Also, schools are 'used' as a gateway for permanently residency, another consequence of dysfunctional immigration policies. There has been no 'diversification' in immigration. It's not just unemployment but 'under' employment is a mega problem in Canada.

Stop hiring only Indians and telling Canadians that Canadians are not allowed to get jobs in their own country and telling Canadians that Canadians are not a good fit for the Indian Culture. That is creating hatred towards Indians. Stop firing the white people that brought you to Canada and gave you a job. This is racism. I was born in Canada when my father was here on a temporary workpermit. But he took us back to India and that is where I grew up and completed my UG to return back to Canada. After comming back I completed my Masters and PhD and Post-doctoral studies. again I relocated back to India and lived there for another 6 years and then I moved to US. But again I moved back to Saskatoon, Canada just recently. Because I realised that Canada is the best place to live. Now I am not going anywhere else. Will live here until my last breath.
