I m from Lahore. Running my own business last year i made around 6 million pkr profit. And I started my business 3 years back. With lot of hard work and consistency i am able to make it and is hoping to increase it further. But after watching your videos i discussed my intention to try for Canadian Immigration with my wife.\nIs it worth trying for it?\nThe only reason is even after making good money you are ensalved to system. We work with different gov offices like fbr, customs and PRA. There attitude is pathetic that is why we have to work middle men and pay him commission. Moreover i m not able to adjust in this environment. The school system is pathetic. I don't like private schools and how they are looting middle class parents. Same is with Doctors. One of my friend who have well established textile business got their mother admitted to one very famous hospital in DHa lahore. Doctors almost killed her mother just to make more money. For very minor issue they paid around 2 million rs to different Private Doctors. And 3 to 4 operations without even doing ct scan. I luv my kids and would never like them to grow in this environment...

Or accepted practices if you will. \n\nSpecialist appointments. \nWhat is likely to happen you go to your Family Doctor and he makes a judgement. \nDoes this person need to be seen by specialist how urgent is that need. \nYou then set up an appointment for three to four months down the road. \nYour likely not picky so you accept anytime. \nThat’s where you make the mistake. \nYou make the appointment for the first appointment of the day or as early in morning as you can. \nWhat happens then Is you will find you are out within 4 hours. \nThey like to clear their morning schedule before they take lunch. \nSo say your appointment is for 11. Because of backlog they get you in for 12. \nFinished up morning appointments by 1. \nThey then take there lunch. Which means they are two hours behind starting the afternoon. \nRough idea of what goes on but you get the idea. \n\nTwo. You hear it every time you call a doctors office. If this is a medical emergency call 911. \n\nIf you need an appointment with specialist because something is wrong. \nFor instance need to see Neurologist because of seizures. \nYou can go to family Doctor and he will set up appointment for 6-8months down the road. \nOr you can go to emerge snd be seen by Neurologist usually within the day. \n\nThey expect you to do that if you are in distress. \nNot in the brochure perhaps but they tell you to do it. \nCall 911 if this is medical emergency. \n\nSo whether your having heart palpitations, seizures, or just don’t know what’s wrong with you. \nThey expect you to go to emerge if you are in a bad way.

Still drives me crazy that foreign trained doctors are driving cabs while Canadian hospitals bemoan the lack of doctors. The Canadian Medical Association even sees fit to not allow in some cases, foreign doctors to write the competency examination.

Crazy how all of these US citizens no matter their race. Have the abilities to work get good education etc. and throw it all away. I know it won’t be easy but, Toronto has a lot of resources for immigrants and even undocumented immigrants. I worked for a shelter and although it was the only one that takes undocumented families, you learn there are resources out there. \nIt’s about aligning yourself with the right community support Center, finding the people who will fight for you. There are so many people here who welcome and want to help all types of immigrants. No matter your background.\nThe people who work helping these communities they are ruthless in their fight for citizenship, or at least finding you a job and home, they will guide you through the system. Social workers, ones in community resource centres, not government centres, will be your best friend. They know where the red tape is and the resources available to you. \nYou could even go to a specific shelter to t all out your options and where you could go to get help.\nI understand this is not ideal. \nBut, if you want to be here, your best friends are non-profits, finding a center that aligns with your story, your background, because they will fight for you. We have people here from every country and resource centres geared towards your own language, religion etc.\nAnother big way to set yourself up for success. Churches, rich churches to be specific. \nMy mom works in a very rich church and it helps them feel better about themselves helping people, you could be nice enough to alleviate their guilt through their wallets, and connections. Under the table work, shelter, space for your family, set you up, they might even have the lawyers you need pro Bono in those rich churches. Church shopping, do not be above it if you don’t have resources. You don’t just get help, you build a community and support system through a common bond, the church. \nI know these aren’t revolutionary tips, but without specifics of your background it’s hard (for me specifically) to give specific advice online as to what services could be provided for you.\nIt’s kind of like a doctors appointment. You need background info to diagnose the resources for you and how to access that help.

Doesn’t matter what your “emergency” is... get in line. We have the longest waits in the world for things like X-rays and MRI’s. True story look it up. \n3) we have the most expense cell phone plans in the world with the shittiest coverage. In all fairness we have a small population and a massive landmass. \n4) if you’re moving to BC, car insurance is government run. So it’s extremely expensive (I think also the most expensive in the world) and it’s awful... so don’t ever get into an accident) other provinces don’t run this way. \n5) gas in BC is also very expansive because of multiple taxes, it’s affordable most places in the prairies though \n6) drinking is 18+ everywhere except BC where it’s 19+ \n\nSo if you want to live somewhere “nice” move to BC. but you’ll be poor as fuck. \nWant to live somewhere affordable, move to the prairies but it’s awful. \nYou can’t move to Quebec if you don’t speak French fluently. Toronto is okay and you won’t fit in anywhere in the eastern islands so don’t even bother. \n\nThe end.

Good video.\nFor people in the comments: immigrating to Canada requires you to have prior post-secondary education. It’s simply a must. But once you are here and apply for jobs, your education will not be recognized by employers (unless you come from the Commonwealth countries.) This includes highly sough-after jobs such as Doctors, Nursing, healthcare, engineering, or finance. So definitely expect to go back to school once you are a landed immigrant.

Where Canada starts lagging behind is really in RnD and access to life saving procedures. While with Canada you have fixed prices, which actually encourages stagnantion in development as anything that streamlines the hospital making it more efficient hurst the hospitals next year of available funding.. while being hurt in the USA can really set the individual back.\nIn Canada you get an overall lower quality of care as the talented doctors end up moving to the states where they can get paid what they are worth not stuck on a fixed income. And after all that rare illnesses in canada as stated don't have any coverage meaning that any one hit with hit rare illness finds out the hard way they can either pay for life saving medication or well pass on.. as most Canadian are taxed to high to have any substantial savings available for such an emergency as they fall into the trap that the government has me covered. \n\nSo each system has its positives and negatives and as far as I'm concerned it's not talked about enough honestly up hear.\n\nIf you have been to the dentist in canada thats basically the usa system, though the prices are fixed in some areas so some services won't be available.. as they don't update the payment schedule often enough so certain procedures pay well, other well can actually cost the dentist out of pocket. \nTherefore in some areas you can't get certain procedures done at all the dentist will refuse.

Structural racism in Canada continues because of loopholes in the system that allow discrimination against minorities to continue. I will tell you why. Most decisions are made by the individuals workers who are not going by the laws of the Companies and Government Institutions and they use their power to discrimate against you based on their own biases . That is what I have experienced. I hurt my back picking up five residents in a day at work and let me tell you the process has not been easy. Everthing I say to them or paper that I gave to them from my Doctor is not good. Even if they have facts before them you are not to beleive. More strong laws need to be put in place to protect minorities.

Tim hortons is all over in the U.S. and for some reason my sons new girl friend from Canada had to come here to become an eye doctor Weird. Student visa I guess. And we took her for breakfast the other day at a Cracker Barrel restaurant and she never had a biscuit before. I'm white but discriminated against at a doctors office because I wasnt dressed nice and had insurance but hadn't met my deductible. She tried to refuse me and said right in front of me, shell never pay. I threw afit and refused to leave until I got treated. I have been discriminated against alot because I dont blow my money on the nice hair, nails and clothes and all the other nice things everyone else has.But that's ok because everything I own is paid for. Alot of sacrifice but I'd rather have my little place in the woods then to fit into today's society.

I'm Australian.Back in 1989 Almost died in that dessert outside Agadez.Extremely dehydrated and stuck in a horrendous sandstorm.\nMy death was so close I saw the white light\nAfter being looked after by a French doctor for 2 days I was then trucked to a hospital in Arlit. During that journey it was 51 degrees celsius.\nI was wrapped in blankets and had buckets of water poured over me to refrigerate me.I spent two weeks in that hospital recovering and then I was medically air evacuated to Niamey ->Algiers->Paris.\nWouldn't wish it upon anyone to make that trek.

I have no problem with skin color or race. I do have a problem when I go to the doctor's office and cannot understand half of what the doctor is saying to me. I do have a problem when I call for technical service and cannot understand half of what the technician is saying. This is frustrating. If people with another first language want to work for American companies where communication is a big part of the job, I only wish they would speak more fluently. I had this very situation this morning. Called for service, could not understand through heavy accent. He was getting very frustrated with me. If I went to another country it would be up to me to learn to speak that language. I dealt with this in the hospital...and in this setting it can be critical. I spoke to the Chief of Residency because of a potentially harmful situation and was told the residents all meet their requirements for English. well, whoopdido...that did not help either of us when a patient was going south.

Our healthcare is not free in the true sense of the word.....the taxes collected from our income......income tax percentages vary by low, mid, and high incomes which covers many things including most basic healthcare costs.\nThings like doctors visits, most non-consmetic surgeries, most diagnostics, lab tests, birth, etc.\nPsychologists, dentists, physical therapists and others are not covered.\nPrescriptions are not covered and is dependent on the various benefits covered by employers.\nOur income tax, sales tax, property tax covers a multitude of things, such as infrastructure, basic schooling and government services.

We have no idea if they're women if their men if they have anything underneath there that can hurt somebody there was a doctor who was treating a woman and because he couldn't see who she was he Ended up treating her a whole family because ould they all had the same eyes the doctor got in to trouble for asking her to take it off so he could treat her we he did not know he was treating her 2 sisters also onle one sister had health inc there's many reasons for them not to wear them they complain about our culture over here well I have a prom with theirs with that this is what happens when you try to come to another country and preach to other people eventually it's all neutral territory you can't come here and tell people what to do because u dont like it and holler at these young women for wearing what they want but it happens all the time well not u got what u wanted it goes both ways

I know lots of people with fake diploma that are working in insurance company. I also know some guys that have paid $3000.00 to get their certificate in interior designer. But when they were hired to do interior designing work, they were so called offside and didn't know what to do. As a result they were fired. Same person was also trying to sale a condo that was not theirs, they got caught. There is a guy that charges $3000.00 and will provide you anything you want. You could be a dishwasher today, a week later, you could be a doctor. That really sucks.

This brings to mind that Vegas shooter who hated Americans and would only date a Chinese, crossdresser preferred. They came to Canada to invest in the housing market. Well. There it is. Canada forgot to mention they also prefer professionals: doctors, engineers, scientists. Not Juan the day laborer. It has one of the toughest immigration policies. And forget it if you have any criminal record.

lazy is a good word! I know what my brother went through in order to immigrate to Australia many years ago. You have to have a clear record, no criminal convictions, paid all your taxes, qualified with the correct credentials they required, eg. IT expert, mechanics, Doctors etc., have sufficient money to live for 6 months, and or a job waiting for you, and sufficient savings. His family ahd to wait 6 months to join him whilst he established a home and job. Possibly these are people either hoping for welfare and freebies, or running from the law? Im not saying all, but someone is promising more than a Country can deliver!

In america there is 1 doctor per 1000 people which is definitely wrong. There should be at least 100 or more per 1000 people. Anything less is fraud and deception coming from these socalled doctors who perceive themselves as gods that are in bed with the pharmaceutical gods. Very sick peoples

Just to let everyone know I actually wish fox was fake news like CNN this is nothing new this has been going on for a few years now I live in toronto Canada and it's pretty much next to impossible to get a room in a motel just last week I had family fly in from bc for my cousins wedding and they could not get a room so they had no choice but to stay with family everywhere they went to try to get a hotel was jammed packed to the gills with migrants and my new next door neighbor told me that he came here and claimed asylum and they instantly put him on government social assistance aka welfare and he said his next move is to get a doctor to fill out paperwork saying he can't work and get disability check all he said he has to do is give the doctor 100$

Canada has a tougher immigration system than the US. It’s a skill based immigration system (doctors, engineers, etc). At least US allows a shitload more family sponsorship immigration. Canada is full of shit

Implicit bias is ridiculosly commonplaceAlot of people have it and if you dont check it you could be discriminatig without being aware of it.Like the doctor deciding who to treat first and with what medicines, or the HR manager picking out resumes to shortlist or award the job to or the judge passing senteces .The search has shown that there is strong bias at play in these scenarios.
