Nobody chooses subjugation, but they can be unwittingly manipulated into it. We need to have a little bit of compassion for Muslims who are struggling with this. Imagine that you were born into Islam. You didn't ask for it. You just happened to be unlucky enough to be born into a Muslim country and raised under it. It's not their fault that they believe what they believe. \nWe need to help them to free them from the chains of Islam. The way to help them and free them from Islam is by educating them with the truth. It's difficult for them to accept because they have devoted their entire life to it. It's also quite a shock when they see all of the errors in the Quran which is supposed to be the pure word of an all-powerful and all-knowing God. Then they see things like- the sun revolves around the earth and sets in a pool of muddy water. It's like somebody telling you that your dear friend has been lying to you for the last 50 years of your life. You just can't believe it. You don't want to believe. You defend your friend, you love your friend. \n\nSo instead of insulting these poor Muslim people try helping them by suggesting that they read the Koran cover to cover from beginning to end. Then they will see for themselves that this 7th century book conflicts with modern scientific and historical knowledge. That's when they will realize that Muhammad invented the entire thing so that people would obey him and treat him like a god on Earth. That's when they will realize that he was a 7th century man who knew nothing about the scientific knowledge that we have now in this century. That's when they will realize that the Quran is filled with threats of punishment and violence for not believing and not obeying the supposed word of God given to them by Muhammad. Muhammad put harsh punishments in it so that they would submit out of fear. This is why Islam is so violent. \n\nTo our Muslim friends in humanity. I'm so sorry that you were lied to. Yeah lots of bad communication here. The whole world percieves Canada as allowing everyone in, and the rest of the world is looked down upon for their immigration laws. I think there needs to be more compassion around this issue but not ridiculous expectations.

It is NOT just race. Depending on the bag or backpack you carry, you get followed, which I hate. And I'm not black. My mother also gets followed everywhere in every Macy's store. It drives me crazy. It's really annoying, because I think it's because my mom has big purses and I usually have my art backpack. \n\nWhen I'm in a different town, I get followed in Walmart all the time. If I forget my shopping bags, I will empty my backpack so I can use that to put all my items in at the end of the purchase.\n\n In Best Buy, I'm lucky to get anyone to help me at all!!! I have to hunt someone down, and most of the time, they don't know anything anyway. Target: I have a hard time finding anyone to help me as well. We know a lot of people and my face is everywhere. I never get followed. But out of town Walmart, I get followed in certain stores. When I’m in Best Buy I am asked if I need help with finding anything at least 3 times per visit. I’m not saying the underlying reason was not a racial bias...I just think that some of those employees are following their training to approach people that seem to be wandering in their section. It could have been racially motivated, but without a larger data set there is no way to be sure.

We argue sometimes about religion but mostly for the sake of discussion not a fight. But don't get fooled by the number of muslims here, we do not allow  any religious fundamentalism in our country. \nAnything that is not a part of our culture in Islam is being rejected. Like we do not allow kids to wear hijabs at school. Religious speeches are not allowed in schools and secular institution. Yet we have a growing number of mosques (all under strict control of our government) \nSo if kept as a religious community, where people help each other overcome the hardships of life, practice it moderately without pushing to anyone it is possible to have adescent muslims, but in no way it should be in contact with Middle Eastern ideologist that treats Western civilization as an enemy. \nYou guys need to separate british muslims and mosques from Middle Eastern warlords influence. It is a slow process, but it is worth it as it is the only adult way to deal with Islamic fundamentalism. Not by hating on your fellows citizens just because they are muslim.

As a retired Police Officer I pay attention to people who spend alot of time in certain isles without a shopping cart. And I think he was carrying a shopping bag. I'm black. I have seen white people walk through the grocery store eating chips, packaged danish and drinking soda, finish eating and leave the wrappings on a shelf, never thinking about paying. I saw a young black mother in CVS take toothpaste and drop it in the baby dag in the back of the baby carriage, without paying. If you work in a store they are told to watch out for shoplifters. I've seen video of white people joking they can go shoplifting anytime because the store employees or security are so busy watching black people. Unfortunately minorities are watched more. If I go in my handbage, or backpack I go into the main isle where everyone can see what I'm doing. They don't need to guess what I'm doing. That's just me.

As someone who is more liberal minded, I don't agree with illegal immigration (I'm also pretty fiscally conservative). I'm open to the idea of healthcare for all, I'm open to legalized pot (even though I hate pot), I don't agree with most wars, and I don't give a rats ass who someone marries or who makes your cake. But all those things are for CITIZENS. That CITIZENS should have. Not someone who comes here just because they think everything is free, don't need to learn English and probably not pay taxes.
