My Haitian cousins tried to tell me their is no racism in Canada. Like I told them. Your just not seeing. You just like white people too much to see the truth.

Hello black women living in Leduc Alberta for over 20 year's . I'm from Toronto born in Jamaica . Now look nowhere is perfect there is racism everywhere, i found more in Toronto then Alberta. In Alberta the most problems i have is with dating but work wise i don't get the racism, its opposite. I get jobs because of my skin. I haven't been called the N word in Alberta to my face anyways and in Toronto too many times to count. I personally love Alberta and will probably retire here. I treat everyone i meet with respect and I've been given the same. I really wish that everyone could just get along and stop with the colors of skin BS and just be kind to each other.

Canada is worst than USA. I am a black American who has been to multiple Continents and USA is the best place to live. And I lived in African nations and tribal racism is worst than USA. They wipe each other completely out.

As a Canadian I'd just like to say, she's so wrong. Africans love Canada, and we love them. Now, African Americans, thats a tricky one. Its not about the colour of ur skin, its about attitudes. 90% of the time when dealing with African Americans, u can tell their waiting and looking for racism, get upset when they dont find it. I would say that pure racism exists in 5% of the population, despite your efforts to create an additional 20 or 30% of racists through your propaganda fiction. Such a slap in the face to homeless people who were born, worked in, and lived in America all their life. Where is their “free ticket” to housing and resources? America makes it hard for their own; especially Blacks, to survive. Always some kind of impossible agreement they want you to agree with to obtain help. As a Black American, homeless and disabled; worked low wage jobs here in America over 30 years; was blocked from receiving my full lump sum disability because they knew it would have been enough to buy myself a home; Have been homeless over a year now and can’t agree to America’s rules for fair housing because their rules aren’t fair for Black Americans altogether. America have set Blacks against Blacks; put them in positions to turn other Blacks away from houses and resources; but all they care about is their job. They know their job requires the impossible for many Blacks to agree to, but they easily and intentionally overlook it. How can I agree to volunteer or work if I’m disabled? I applied for disability because I can no longer work. And…It took forever for me to get that. My long, steady work history will prove that I’m not lazy which is used as their excuse for not helping Blacks. America will bend over backwards to help foreigners while we sleep on the streets. That’s the reason why they went out on a limb to employ people from different countries. They called it diversity when they clearly knew it was racism. They had rather employed foreigners to keep Blacks from progressing. America is reaping its seeds right now. Say good bye to America because it’s about to become a new foreign country to all Americans. You reap the seeds you sow. You must be fair to your own first, but you disclaim your own. ❤ And by the way;…..Reparations to Black Americans may be a good start in the eyesight of God who have watched how you treated us for so very long. Nobody in America should be homeless regardless. When God says enough; wickedness and injustices must stop. Not tomorrow but right now! In the name of Jesus; Blacks shall receive reparations so they may live safe and peaceful lives in measures of ours and our ancestors works. I'm white, both my parents are white and they, we didn't receive much better treatment here either. I think cronyism is a more accurate description than racism. \nCanadians seem to only accept those within their small, insular groups. You will notice that Canada supports multiculturalism but that means that there are thousands of cliques operating inside a whole. As for WS or microaggressions, don't worry as they will be overtaken by other groups which will won't even bother with being subtle.\nPeople have come here through legitimate channels or across at Roxham Road with the polite RCMP bellhops but failed to research thoroughly the reality of this land. I have talked to or read from newcomers who complain that it's cold and there's no culture. No kidding. (Try living in a logging camp with 300 inches of rain a year.) I am a black south african and live In Edmonton Alberta since 2010 I worked hard and built a life for my self and my family I have never gone through any racism in Edmonton Alberta Canada I have white black and native American friends if anyone should be complaining about racism in Canada it's the native American people let's not talk about how us as black people treat eachother that comes from different African countries we have no love for one another

Why dont you just put the dope dispensaries all in 1 location? Then theyll go there and not be laying around everywhere. Also maybe test those imigrants for illegal drugs , and relocating the homeless junkies to a centralized location. It doesn't matter where you go in the world your going to encounter racism and discrimination. Not everyone is the same how we deal with it but it's a free world and people shouldn't be telling others on the Internet not to go places because of it and cause isolation for themselves.
