Unfortunately stats are saying the opposite. People are moving from Canada to the USA. Why ? Cost of living Even in states, people are moving high bureaucracy and high states to places like Nevada, Texas, and Florida.

He is clearly saying if they want to leave there not welcome in muslim countrys. Yes they have the right to stay in there own country but if they actually need refuge and there own people are literally saying its not there problem then why should it be anyone elses problem ?

Look at these protests, how many Indians do you see here representing other states of India. It looks like the protest of state of Punjab.\nMost of these do not even call themselves indian or are proud of Country India. But right now what would be much more appreciative is talking about the solution which nobody is talking. So it's easy to sit there in Australia and say that oh there's this problem in Canada and that problem in Canada. But you are only experiencing it and witnessing it through a screen. I’m an Indian international student currently in a master’s program in Canada and I think this video perfectly speaks to a lot of problems in the country. I chose Canada due to its high quality of education. I personally also think the country messed up with their mass immigration with no quality check of individuals coming from India. If a person is allowed to be in a foreign country they must assimilate into its culture and values or at the bare minimum not force your own beliefs on the people there. I find a lot of entitlement certain immigrant population feel quite ridiculous , it’s not racist to want people who come into your country to be respectful of it’s values. I would just like to say that not every Indian immigrant is the same though there are people who just wanted a different life and embrace the culture of the country that they had an opportunity to be a part of.

Dont have a problem with it beacause when European colonizers first came to Canada , who was there ? It was the native american Indians and now its the Indians. Therefore, its safe to say they have all right to be there. Whats happening here is that you people think you are entitled to be there more than any other race of people.REALITY CHECK !!!

I live in Quebec and love winter, but I do sometimes dream of living somewhere like Hawaii or California where I could eat ripe avocados and grow so much food all year round. I could build a tiny home (less regulations - so much red tape here - and cheaper bc less need of insulation and heating) and go swimming every day. This is pretty idealistic though, and could probably do these things in non-american countries. Would I consider moving to the United States? Sure I would consider it. Would I though? Probably not. Why? Similar reasons to many folks in this country:\n- lack of women's rights (still growth to do here too)\n- lgbtqia+ discrimination (here as well, but definitely to a lesser extent)\n- racism (we have this here too though... just maybe less nazis?)\n- guns (this terrifies me... anyone I know who has a gun here has it only for hunting and it's locked up in a gun case, which I think is required, when not in use)\n- healthcare (though I'm not in love with our system... I'm currently on a huge waiting list for an mri, the waiting lists to get a doctor are obscene, and can't access dental or mental health support... some of our hospitals are in such poor shape...)\n- politics and MAGA (terrifying that so many people think like that... though our political parties are pretty fucked up too... just not to the same extent)\n- school systems that teach kids the world is as old as the Bible says\n- police and prison industrial complex (seems less personal and terrifying from the outside)

it's not just Brampton, people all over the country say the same. Doesn't feel like Canada anymore but like India. I'm not racist but I feel like I don't belong here and out of place which is very wrong. Canadians from long family tree people here and even of aboriginal descent feel like minority here now. The only people to blame for this is the immigration dept. If they had proper rules in place then only proper educated and decent people would've come there instead of many people with criminal or rowdy background who even falsify there IELTS score. As someone said in comments that most of the people in Canada especially Brampton are from small villages in Punjab who have barely seen n lived in big cities in India itself. And it's true everyone in India knows that Brampton is mini Punjab, Punjab with cold weather. I have many friends who have gone to Canada and some of them were living in Brampton also for some time, but everyone left, they all say that Brampton is just a rowdy place and does not seem like you are in a developed country coz of the ruckus the Punjabi people make their and most of the educated people going from India to Canada wants to avoid Brampton.

You can't say Montreal is typical for Canada though. It's always voted among the best major cities to live in. Also, some people can't take the cold. So, even if they moved to Montreal, they might find it a little harsher than expected, in winter months. There's indeed a tolerance of crime vs cold graph people have to consider, when deciding where to live. More people permanently move from Canada to the US, than the other way around. I suspect the weather is the biggest reason.

Many of the facts were some % wrong. Although I love India and happily worked in India for almost decade, but lifestyle and personal life is better in Canada, because in India big business tycoon says people should work for 15-18 hrs. Personal life put on shit. It’s not easy to settle here easily and definitely have to struggle a lot, and that is same in India if u are builting things by your own and not on with family support. Homeless people are being provided with proper shelters and money in Canada, but being druggist they don’t live there. Skilled people here are not struggling much, but if u go in comfort zone and continue with basic jobs, u eventually will struggle. People don’t wna go to distance city, hence all problems.

Also I second that as a Canadian I really love and enjoy American people. Anytime I visit USA I feel so welcomed, they are always so kind, joyful, generous and hospitable. Honestly I don’t know why they get such a bad rep like I don’t have one bad thing to say about any Americans I’ve interacted with.

in Ontario, you wait for 12-24hr in an E.R,. . immigrants are struggling to navigate the system, find a home. house prices are more than 3x in the past 10 years. The gov. keeps promising affordable houses. yet more people are brought in than houses are built. i have heard immigrants say that too many are being let in.

My family are Central American immigrants. The vast majority of them have been blue collar hard working people that helped shape what we live in today. I am first generation born Canadian coming from this blue collar family of hard working immigrants that earned their Canadian citizenship. I think most of us who have immigrant family from anywhere have seen this. I cannot necessarily say I’ve seen this type of work or drive to contribute from the Indians that immigrate to Canada. Yes there are some who really contribute, but that should be the norm not the exception. I don’t have anything against them, I just really wished Canada would be more diligent on who they let in and how many they let in. This is the result of just opening the flood gates. Canada has always been multicultural, but you gotta earn your keeps.
