Stereotypes are based to some degree on reality. Truth is just do a Youtube search for dine and dash, or shop lifting, knockout game, street fight, black friday fights, car jacker, etc and your likelihood of finding a black person in there are proportionally higher. When people get beyond the boundary of a person's color you will face the reality of what this is all about in the first place. Isn't it funny when we look at things like professional sports. If they -actually- wanted to do real journalism and not some undeserved-guilt-provoking, race-baiting propaganda piece, they would have had to go the extra mile and cross-reference such behaviors with cold-hard statistics about crime convictions by ethnicity, showing that the discriminatory behavior is entirely based on racism and not on statistical risk. Its an unfortunate reality for Canadians. How ever let it be known that European heritage aren't the only ones who make prejudice comments and actions.... In my reality I had prejudice attacks from Hispanics, Nigerians, Filipinos and INDIAN Canadian, as I appear very Canadian Indegenous.

Let's face the reality. Discrimination is a fact of life whether it's legal or not. But it's not all about race. Anyone can be discriminated against because of the way they look, act, dress, even the way they walk and talk. You can have two people from the same ethnic group and they can have a totally different experience. For me, it's mostly positive. Different cultures have different tendencies and behaviours. If you see a certain behaviour more than once among the same culture / group, you will naturally start categorizing. Most people think it's a skin colour (which very commonly is just an attribute of a certain culture or group), but in reality, it's hard to tell people not to stereotype and just simply ignore what you observe.
