Make babies, not get married as then man’s income is part of household and less $$from government, and collect WIC, food stamps, housing subsidies and monthly welfare checks. Just be glad there is not a large Mexican population in Brampton. Mexican culture is the lifestyle in the southwest USA. They immigrate and make their new home look like the one they ran from in Mexico. Makes no sense. Indians are like Japanese…highly intelligent with great work ethic. Just look at tech companies in northern CA, numerous tech CEOs and workers are Indian. We will trade you!

It's not just Brampton. Every municipality in the GTA are ethnic enclaves now. Brampton is Indian, Markham is Chinese, Scarborough is largely Sri Lankan, white people have moved out to suburbs further out from the GTA. This kind of self-segregation is not healthy for society. So i was born and raised in Canada and a visible minority.and have lived in brampton i wont lie brampton/canada is india i lived here for over 30 yrs. And 40yrs in Canada, which dosent except me nor dose my ethnic community. SO WHATS NEW.

Once I saw a white man taking out some food from the garbage can outside an Indian restaurant in Brampton . I was so shocked to see that. I gave $20 to my son to give it to that man so that he can eat something.

Anyone gets to try living here as much as you or your ancestors did. At least these folks are not coming to ravage villages and burn kids in residential schools.

Ive lived in brampton for 5 years. Yes we do have a good number of our people here. \nTalking about temples, thats what indian people do, we are religous. And i dont see anything wrong with having our temples built the traditional way. The city had no issue with it thats how they got permits to build. \nWhy so many of us live here …. Brampton is located very close to all major cities in gta. It has a good public\nTransport network…. A lot of colleges both convenient for the students. And more over the govt did not specify where new commers should go. \nI thought canada was always a land of immigrants from hundreds of years so dont know when they say too many of us here. We came like others…. Did the paperwork… got approved for visa. Students pay 3x the money for the same course a canadian would pay. Its contributing to the economy.

I am from India but am sorry for the state Brampton has become, that was not the case 20 years ago. Now my kids say they hate Brampton. It is JT and his party. They messed the whole country. When I came to Canada there was multi cultures in all neighborhoods in Brampton and now pathetic.

Canada should limit immigrants from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. They all look alike. Real and original Canadians are becoming the minorities in the country. Immigrants from other Asian countries are outnumbered. True Brampton is looking like India and the homebase for scammers.
