Indian students going to private colleges owned by Indians that have no merit as far as there degree are concerned. It's a scam for them to reside here. It's a scam from day 1. Go check if private college is the same as a real Canadian college. It's not, private college is not recognized as authentic community college like Sheridan. \nThey been scammed. \nWho goes to a college in Canada run by Indians . Only Indian students. Your paying $20,000 a year for the same teaching and teachers that would cost you 20,000 rupees in India.\nThey come here and work at McDonalds and drive truck. Nothing else. SCAM

Canadians, I'm an Indian, living in US for the past 5 years in the Midwest. I'll be going back to India for my startup. I've not visited Canada and not planning to. There isnt much to see anyway...\n\nImmigrants from Punjab region were encouraged for a long time against all others for a long time... The second and third generation of them are politically active and strong. All they care about is Khalistan and nothing else and they're close to realising it first in Canada. The chickens have come home to roost...\n\nYou need them to work in agricultural fields and you can't control them. Enjoy the fun together.....

The Indians coming to Canada over the past 5-10 years are the absolute bottom of the barrel. \n\nDo not compare them to those who migrated to the US & Canada over 20 years ago. Those Indians don’t even want to be associated with them and many are now expressing their embarrassment & disgust. \n\nPeople are fed up with the sheer numbers flooding ??.. they’re bringing their caste system with them, they are also racist against others and especially black people, they are known for being exploitative against even their own people, they’re known for being scammers & cheats. \n\nIndia’s population is over a billion. Youth unemployment is ridiculously high. Rural & urban poverty, squalor & filth is high …. It’s no wonder that they are desperate to leave & the “immigration consultants” are selling them lies about life in paradise. Many who come were clearly NOT properly vetted as they are dangerous criminals. Most of the “students” have no intention of returning to India and came to stay indefinitely & feel entitled to do so. Crazy !!!

I worked with Indian years ago and they braged about how they broke laws from paying their friends to taking their driving tests to ripping of social services . I was told Canada was easy pickings. They bring their old people here so they can get oas gis than move back to India.

It's to scapegoat the vulnerable for the poor decisions made by those in charge. Birthing tourism, drugs brought into Canada by Asian cartels resulting in soaring housing prices, illegal Asian migrants from USA who cross the Peace Arch border looking like tourists, bring in tens of millions of immigrants who don't meet immigration criteria, build an international school for Japanese students since the 1990s...and when jobs are at a low and you need to speak Mandarin and Cantonese as a job requirement and the housing is bursting at the seams, you blame the new vulnerable immigrants working at fast food restaurants to explain why you need to speak Mandarin and Cantonese for job.

Do not only blame the agents in India for misrepresentation of Canada. Also the Canadian government is to blame for accepting so many Indians without limit, without considering the capacity of the country of accepting 1.4 million Indians within the past decade.

How students protest against Canadian law, they are not Canadians. They must study and return back to their home country. 70% of students abuse this student visas, and as a result prospective genuine students also lost their higher education in Canada.

When you try to change a country's culture, you find resistance. If you want India here, go back there. Don't turn Canada into the shithole India is. Stereotyping is always based in truth. Own the problem and fix it. Canada has always been receptive to Indians and Indians have always melded well, worked hard, bought land and businesses and have been excellent citizens. Now, we see tribal feuds in BC, illegally armed citizens, open violence and yes Brampton, the worst drivers in Canada. I have three new immigrant families as neighbors and all are polite, quiet people who just want to exists peacefully. Unfortunately, many new arrivals do no fit that mould. Crapping on a beach or in a parking lot is not tolerated here and there is video evidence of the latter on YouTube.

Ppl who left india coz they didn't have skill to survive here is holding pluckarts at canada claiming as skilled worker.

The Canada government will consider any foreign students come with fake EDUCATIONAL certificates .

Thousands of unskilled immigrants coming to Canada in the tag of students. \n\nAlmost 95% coming here are diploma guys with no experience at all and they expect a permanent residence. \n\nI'm a Master's student with 10 yrs of experience from Mumbai, the level of unskilled students here is so high now that every Tim Hortons is filled with students from Punjab or Harayana. Canada ke haal bohot hi kharab hai. Last 5 saal se aur bhi kharab ho gaya hai. Increase in homeless population. Koi ghar kharid nehi pa raha hai. Inflation went through the roof. Jo butter hum $1 se $2 mein kharid te the wohi ab $7 ho gaya. This is just small example. Is some cases the price doubled. Koi bhi newcomers dhang ka ghar rent par nehi le pa raha hai. Kyun ke rent itna zyada hai. You have to wait for 6 to 8 hours in the hospital just to get checked up. Sorry bhai Canada abhi woh Canada nehi raha.

A significant portion of these international students come to Canada with an undergraduate degrees in their home countries and they are much older than 19 years. It is an extremely unfair competition for the local young students of age 19 or so who are Canadian citizens, when these older international students compete with local Canadian young students of age 19 for summer jobs. Please stop giving summer jobs to these international students just because they have an undergraduate degree from their home countries while a 1st year or 2nd year University students with Canadian citizenship apply for the same jobs. The Canadian citizens who are young students do not deserve this unfair competition.

Shut the flood gates from India closed. Our system is not designed to handle millions in one stretch. India does have millions of surplus folks de doesn't meaning Canada should bring them all here. Only politicians, developers, banks and immigration agents are benefitting from this uncontrollable flow.

Get the right people for the right jobs, if you MUST bring in immigrants!\nThere are plenty of Canadian people who can do low wage jobs. Besides, low wage jobs are a good opportunity for youngsters to learn good skills while earning some money on the side to save for college. They are NOT, and I repeat, NOT for immigrants who have other skills to bring to the Canadian market.\n\nThe IT sector needs a serious overhaul. You need people to fill up roles in corporate jobs to boost production, because Canada is seriously behind in technology. Healthcare needs serious people too. There is no point in bringing promising doctors and healthcare practitioners who can improve healthcare services and the number of capable doctors here, but have them working low wage jobs instead to make ends meet. That is unfair to those people and unfair to Canadians who need good medical services in lieu of the taxes that they pay. Canadian Experience is a joke and a very cheap trick played by the incumbent government to swindle good, deserving people of their hard-earned money.\n\nEnough of bringing in refugees into Canada and destroying the economy by giving them handfuls of money paid by Canadians themselves. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and whoever gets these handouts needs to understand that they need to return the favour with hard work and a sense of contribution towards the country that gave them hope.\n\nI am an Indian, but I still say that Canada should come first. I don't think most Canadians would have a problem with Indians in Canada if the number of them here was smaller. Large groups of people in a society who have or are perceived as having close affinity to each other and limited affinity to the society at large will provoke suspicion and resentment, it has happened again and again in history.

This country is so in a wrong path and I get it, cost of living is rising everywhere but Canada seems to be bad in all sectors of life, not just for being expensive….what is the point of paying for a place to live pretty much as an animal for 70% of your salary and then go downtown and look around homeless and drug addicts everywhere to interacting superficially with cold people in a weather that’s freezing for more than half a year to never being able to fly anywhere as ticket for a three hour flight costs $1000…..oh and endure all of this for a $40k/annually salary after tax if you’re lucky. Not your first world category type of country but be advertised for what it really is….a 3rd world.
