I am from Pakistan and all my friends and relatives moved to UK, US, Australia and Canada. When I say all I mean 18 out of 20 left Pakistan and they don't want to come back to Pakistan ever because who doesn't want a better lifestyle for themselves and for their future generations but my father advised me never to leave your country because no matter what other countries will never accept you as their own citizens. Instead of leaving your country try to make it better. \n\nToday I see exactly that happening throughout the world. They want their countries back and you see their hearts filled with hatred against these immigrants. Sooner or later these immigrants will have to sell everything and come back to their countries. I know, what I am about to say isn't easy to swallow. Because I also understand how prevailing sentiments of fear are, when it's easier to blame another group for our shortcomings. Problem is we don't get to choose who comes into Canada, but we are perfectly accountable for whom we vote. Who we vote responsible in the end for policies that make or break a Country. They draft 5-10-20 years road maps for a Country's growth, the trace demographic's trend, births, jobs creations etc etc. They are responsible to understand Economics factors and how they are interwoven into Global trenches. Furthermore they are responsible to manage money budget and spending but above all control waste. I mean Canada became an Global Oil dominator second only to Saudi and we blame migrants? Sounds to me we should kick someone's teeth in, but that ain't my neighbour Cheng or Abhuoul. BTW I was born in the late 70's from Italian migrants, came back again in 95. I left a dead Canada in early 2000 and never looked back.

They're streaming into the US from Canada to NYC by the (literally busloads) because NYC has a free housing policy for illegal immigrants. They are being housed while veterans are left on the streets - literally no room at the inn. All of the leftist political parties in all Western democracies have increased massive immigration exclusively, from 3rd World pagan cultures, such as China, India, Africa, the Middle East and Haiti, in order to soften the influence of Western culture and try to lock in the left-wing vote. Pierre Trudeau said that we must protect our French culture and so he rammed the bilingual policies down our throats, way back in 1970 or so. Today when you drive along Steeles Ave, along the southern edge of Markham, you will see only Chinese light boxes and 3d signage adorning all of the super malls there. No English and no French. The real goal of diversity is to erase Western culture which, was one of Karl Marx's wishes.

Statistics show that half of the new immigrants in the photo op at the end will have voluntarily left Canada within the next 5 -10 years. Many to the US, and most of the rest back to their home countries, as they will find that Canada is not a place to come to to get ahead. Canada is over-hyped for sure. I know, I came to Canada and then left after 10 years to the US, where opportunities are far, far better. Save yourselves a decade of wasted time and come to the US straight away.

Modern immigrants expect to both better as well as replicate the one they've left behind. Why would anyone coming from an impoverished life expect anything different?

We should be granting asylum to female/child refuges no doubt in my mind - but instead we are being flooded with economic migrants. Not only is this harmful for our own economy but the refugees who really need help and would show appreciation to their host country are being left behind to suffer.

Immigrants come from ALL countries. So it's not one group over another. This isn't about race. I know, very hard for the Left to grasp that concept. It's about integration. About our own Canadian culture. Our own Canadian values. Brampton Ontario, Surrey BC, Richmond Hill BC, Markham Ontario and so on. When new immigrants are told they don't have to integrate into Canadian culture, learn our languages English or French, share our Canadian values, or wave our Canadian flag. But instead, they are allowed to build their own mini countries within our Canadian borders, then Canadians are slowly losing Canada. One city at a time.

Because our prime minister wants to win the next election, and he's willing to ruin our country to do it! There is no need for people who refuse to accept our ways, language, etc. If they want to make it like the country they left, then stay there! If you refuse to at least learn the language, you're not welcome in our county, it's pretty simple.
