Welcome to Canada first if all. Why do people choose to leave their own homeland, then complain once they move to their chosen location? Canada has wonderful opportunities for anyone coming here, but if you think it’s a bed of roses, your dead wrong. Do your homework , research, decide what’s best for you. Live here for a few years , decide then. If it’s got you, move on, move out, your choice. But like any country there are good as well as bad. You can live a good life in Canada. So sorry we have cold winters that make us have the need to import many items and drive up the need to live here. So sorry you came and don’t enjoy the lifestyle here. Good luck moving to you next country of choice. Because many people don’t have a choice. Zoom zoom bye ✌️

Canada is to me the best country in the world. Having in various European countries for a decade, and born and raised in Africa, I frankly can’t complain about life in Canada. I’m not earning a high income but thank God, I live a decent life. No debts, all my expenses are funded by my decent income. Plus, I travel around the world since I got my Canadian passport.\nI understand all the arguments in this video but I will not leave Canada for another country.

Wherever we live there are challenges. All in all, Canada is still one of the best countries to settle and create a good life.

Canada is great. We got nice nature, nice weather, and the chance to wear cool winter clothing. We got rye whiskey, maple syrup, and the best cannabis. It's also cheap to buy stuff in Canada secondhand! The people are nice here too! Yes, we have taxes but everywhere is increasing taxes too. We have some really great, creative and talented people living here.

Listening to you guys I can already see why you're not successful. You're english isnt the best, you have a negative mindste and you feel like the country owes you something. I got 50k job a month after I came to canada just because I had a positive mindset. And immigration is very difficult in us, its not easy. Also why do u have a high phone bill ? ALL TRUE. I left Canada for the States in 2021. Single RN no dependents here, no chronic disease. There was no sweet spot for me back home. Working extra shift or working according to my FTE has always been a dilemma. Coz the more money you make the more you are being taxed. At some point, it felt like I was just working for my bills and for other peoples’ social benefits/health care. I wasn’t saving up more. I wasn’t building wealth. Definitely the safest and one of the best BUT that’s if you are WILLING to pay the price. Here in the States, I can pay my US and Canada bills at the same time. Can’t do that back home ??. Sad but TRUE.

Well said I understand that my Brother whole family migrated to Canada and I observed their lifestyle all debt and I hardly see if they have enough savings sad to say. At any rate would rather stay in village and tend my own vegetable farm with livestock than living a stress life on city. That's my childhood dream to work in US or Canada but when I became professional and started earning travelling most of the time domestic and international routes I realised that I will be on my own rather than slave or employee for the rest of my life. And since you did not tell us whether you will leave Canada or not I will not query you. Since facts are facts but every person's decision it definitely subject and circumstances may be relative. Canada is ranked among the 5 best places in the world. If you compare that to yours, you may not have any qualms about Canada at all.

At the end of the day Canada rates among the first 5 best countries to live in in terms of security, safety for everyone, acceptance regardless of race (comparatively), lesser drugs and violence issues (public gun attacks, high drugs issues). Life in Eastern Canada (Quebec and Ontario) is way better. \n\n2) Weather : rain during winter is really a BC thing, the rest of the country : is SNOW and cold for 4-5 months\n\n3) Again, the cost of living is super expensive in Vancouver and Toronto. Here, in Montréal, it’s affordable.\n\n4) The more taxes you pay means you are making good money. 50% of taxes is \n\n5) Canada is beautiful, but if you don’t like our country, why did you came here in the first place ? \n\n6) Covid : Mmm it was maybe extreme, but Canada is one of the country that manages the best the pandemic in the world \n\n7) Rules ? Im Asian and I love Vancouver! The weather is beautiful and mild! I enjoy the rainy days cozying up with nice jazz music on gorgeous cafes and restaurants Vancouver has. It is expensive yes, however if your Asian its not, you just havent explored the Asian market place, cheap housing are also available in the outskirt cities and the best part of it is you are near the beaches and outdoor recreation and fun! Taxes are high yep thats true however with three different surgeries my family had from Apendicitis, to Gall bladder stone removal and stent angioplasty that could have cost us millions but got it for free, also the Free education, Child support, CERB, etc, taxes doesnt seem to matter anymore. British Columbia's mountain ranges, ski resort, hot springs, also Albertas Banf, Jasper, and Canmore for me are truly majestic safe and beautiful! Ive been all around South east Asia Europe and even the middle east however the welcoming nature and culture of Canadians and the power of a canadian Passport for me trumps all other cities in other countries. If you want to learn extreme news go to Asia like, China, North Korea, and the Philippines, also the USA the most extreme of them all! Rules are indeed frustrating but Canadian rules are nothing compared to Singapore, if you want freedom try India, try to walk in sexy clothing on the streets. In the Philippines everybody drives drunk specially on Friday nights. The Canadian mindset of a Multi cultural communinty and the welcoming athmosphere of their thinking for me is the reason why Canada is truly the best place to live.

I hitchhiked from PEI to northern BC I lived In Quebec, for me the 4 best cities are Halifax, Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Now I live In Seattle for 15 years, if I had to move back in Canada I would move to Montreal, no where else.

Spot on with everything. I always rant to my friends about all of this. I’m moving to Europe from Toronto. I have a few options thanks to my work but still trying to decide which country. I guess theres a reason most Europeans don't immigrant to Canada anymore compared 2nd/3rd world countries. \n \nLifestyle, food quality, work culture etc. I love F1, soccer and European history, so thats always a treat while im there.
