In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.\n\nThere are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.\n\nMulticulturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Problems in Canada: too much immigration & not enough cheap housing. Cause: bankers & lawyers/liars - almost all politicians are greedy lawyers. And their house owning friends. I'm not just saying that because I live in my car in effing Toronto.

I'm an Indian and had never been to Canada, but in India, The West is portrayed as a disney wonderland and considered as a hallmark of academic achievement if someone succeeds in obtaining a degree from there while ignoring the fact that not all universities outside are Harvard or Oxford and may be on same page as Indian private universities.\nThis psyche has been best abused by Canadian government and their oveseas educational consultancies and they have visa office on every crossroad and street to get the visa process easy, so that these guys may go to Canada somehow and help run the universities there by pouring millions!

It is very expensive to live in Canada aside from Healthcare everything has become super expensive , Immoving back to my country of birth ,the Philippines, yes it going to take adjustment because if is a poor country , but having no mortgage and have a house and hobby farm I'm sure I will be fine, fresh fruits and vegetables right in my property. taxes are too high, too much government demands on business owner. I saw that at age 19, graduated vet school and left asap... so glad I did. Canada is beautiful and Canadians are generally amazing, nice and fun loving but they don't have much extra money to spend on their pets or much else due to the tax and spend government!

In Canada, there used to be a difference between ‘immigrant’ & ‘refugee’. Trudeau and his government have made these two groups into one. My family immigrated from England in the 1950s. My father had to have a job waiting for him when we arrived. We had to go through health checks. My parents had to prove that we had a specific amount of money so that we would not be a drain on Canada. Trudeau has opened the border to anyone wanting to come no matter if they have anything to offer Canada.

I was watching a You Tube video about my old home town the other day and in the background I saw a park full of homeless people in their tents. That homeless encampment did not exist when I left two years ago. It breaks my heart to see what has become of my home country! ?

Now Imagine How Native Canadians feel every time they see a European calling him/herself as a real Canadian. You don't see future in Canada, but you can return back to your home country. But for Native Canadians, they don't have present and they can't go anywhere else, bcz its their home land, home country. It's like someone comes to your house as a guest, then they force you to live in one corner while captures the rest of the house and now even give some rooms of your house on rent, and takes that rent, gives you no facility, nothing. Wow Alina, so many complaints about Canada that I don't know where to begin. Let me just say this. The grass is not always greener on the other lawn as it appears to be from afar. The western politicians are really not very good at governing. The problem you see nowadays in the west is essentially the same problem the west have created all over the world in the past. It is about exploiting other people. Just that they even have to exploit their own people. But their own people get used to the nice life they have had. And all the politicians can do is tax more and more. US and Canada still have a lot of resources. Europe may be the problems since they don't have resources or labors.

Wrong information once again. They obtain visitors visa to be allowed to enter Canada. Anyone can apply for asylum but they need to proof their case to a judge.
