Immigrants are not the problem.\nCanada is made up of immigrants. They contribute financially and morally to Canadian society. It's the overload of refugees that is taxing every aspect of Cannada , from taxpayers' dollars to housing to school overload to government budgets.... Refugees are straining the system because they contribute and bring little to no value to the economy. On the other hand , immigrants pay every step of the way and have to have something solid to contribute to Canada.... which they do always.....they never get anything free......they work hard and build Canada's economy......this video is so\nBiased!

I'm an immigrant myself but I don't have pleasant experience with people from India all my 10 years living in Canada. I rent a place where the house next door is owned by a middle-aged Indian woman. She rejected to split the cost when my landlord suggested building a fence between our place and hers, because one time her one tenant almost run over my landlord when backing up her car. Recently the Indian lady rent her house to 15 plus other Indian people who litter their garbage all around her house and honk their cars at night, literally making the atmosphere much alike those slum videos of India I've seen in the past on YouTube. \n​I've talked to a few of them about the noise, they promised me it wouldn't happen again but they never kept their promises. I have no clue how to communicate with these people anymore, I might as well look for a new place to live.

I am Canadian and I work in an area with a lot of foreign student labour. This is an accurate summary of the situation. I have some college education, and I noticed many Indian students are going to private colleges a distance away. I believe the colleges aren't properly vetting these students in order to allow more in and collect more money from them. International students pay more to go to school in Canada. These young people unfamiliar with a western education system don't understand things aren't being done properly, but the bad reputation of these schools gets around and these students credentials are worthless. It's sad considering families frequently go into debt to send their kids to Canada. Mass Immigration is ruining housing in Canada because not enough building happend to house the sudden population increase. Canadians access to services such as health care is hindered by the population iincrease. Something as simple as the common language spoken in the country has changed. It is true if the goverment changes the people in the country the goverment has changed the country.

I am not indian but if you don'twant immigration then you should have work force.you call them because you don't have enough people to work for your country.they come to your country pay fees ,do all your odds jobs pay taxes ,which you pay to your junkies, build roads your infrastructure Etc and they don't get any benefit of the tax they pay as they are not permanent resident,even they have to get private health insurance for any medical treatment.Remember covid days no immigration, Australia, Canada uk Etc all were crying for works.You need to thankful to them as they are contributing in your countries in many ways.

It's easy to blame immigration for all of Canadas problems. Sure there are a lot of Indian immigrants, however, they go to work, not bleed the system dry. Canada is a huge country, there should not be a housing crisis. However, some want to raise the prices of real estate through gentrification, stopping new housing projects. Skilled labor from india? Have you seen what the building standards are there. They will have to be taught every thing once they show up including english most of the time. For skilled labor we should be looking toward europe and south america. They share Christian values , simular cultures to our own, and the concepts of common courtesy, manners, and personal space. Canada is taking in to many immigrants from (India,China,Philippines,Africa and other nation) which will force Canadians out of a job and created cheaper labour that under estimated the standard of living. Many of these people are none Christian nation and will be a threat to Canada and other part of the west. Canada should stop take in None- Christian nation of people and focus on more to build up the white Canadian people. Canada is allowing to many immigrants in the country per year and where are the real Canadian going to live in years from now to come? I’m a 68 yr old female Senior (caregiver) living in my car because my only option after a 3 yr wait was BC Housing near the DTES … these are SLUMS that we are supposed to be Thankful for … most of these buildings answer to no one because they get their funding from a number of sources … the STAFF are allowed to treat the Residents anyway they like, with No Conscience… if Canada can’t supply decent housing to their Citizens then they should STOP IMMIGRATION… most new immigrants are treated better financially then the citizens who live here …. The building I lived in is called PENDERA at Pender St. & Beatty Street in Vancouver… it ALL looks good from the outside so people really want to move in …. That’s when the trouble starts … I lived in a RAT INFESTED APARTMENT FOR 6 yrs!!!

All Canadians are immigrants. They came from England, France,Europe and other countries. The actual original people are the natives who were forcibly eliminated and suppressed. So don't say native Canadians unless you include all races in that category. Some came earlier and others came later. Your perception is skewed. You overlooked the China immigrants who have pushed the prices of homes out of the reach of the average Canadian with the inflow of their mainly corruption and criminal sources of money. Canada is one of the least densely populated major countries and the problem for your housing prices is less than 1M immigrants over the past 2years? And you're going to lead your causes of this problem with that? Give me a break.\nSpend more time on WHY building new houses is not profitable enough and is disincentivized. Talk about how incentivizing home ownership as a wealth building vehicle turned into a bubble and a ponzi scheme as those housing investments outpaced other investments. You know who can still afford to buy up houses, hold them, and prevent the market from deflating? Corporations. Shifting taxes that hurt poor people (like income and sales taxes) onto land value taxes would stop most of this. It would become expensive to sit on vacant investment houses and corporations and landlords would be forced to sell them.

We need more immigrants here. Places are closing due to labour shortage. Unfortunately we cannot house them at this moment. Slow immigration temporarily while we build housing. Shameful we invite good people here and make them sleep in streets. We need smart immigration.

Instead of blaming these people, one must question their own government authorities who make the rules and legislation to facilitate this. Maybe it's just the truth of a desperate Canadian economy that needs immigrants to keep fueling the 'aging' Canadian economic engine. These people come in and work hard, odd jobs (not to mention the exceptional skilled ones as well like Doctors, health care workers etc.) which the regular Canadian wouldn't do. I've been in Canada for 2 years without a Family doctor. Thank God, the last 10 different Doctors I met were all fresh immigrants and came to my rescue. Ask your conscience, without these immigrants, you wouldn't be getting your late night coffee at the time Hortons drive thru, no one to take your blood works without you waiting several months in waiting, no ways for universities to subsidize tuition fees for the poorer Canadian students. If immigrants stop coming in, the nice detached home you live in will go down in value, the nice truck you drive will become more expensive, your kids University tuition fees will sky rocket, Canadian companies selling groceries, furniture, etc. Will have lesser revenue and eventually get eaten up be American giants, Canadian companies won't have cheap labour to build those much needed housing. \nNot only question your government, but also question your 'own' people.. The difference between modern mass immigration and immigration of the past is so stark. My great grandfather came over fleeing fascist Italy and built a tile and terrazzo business on blood, sweat and tears. It has employed members of my family the last 4 generations alongside 100's of other employees the past 75 years. They have paid millions in taxes and helped build up the community in a literal and metaphoric sense. \n\nToday, most immigrants are allowed entry to boost profit margins in academia while offering little in terms of viable skills outside of the service industry. What a sad state of affairs.

Banks have an endless stream of mortgage revenue and investors earn returns on their money. Now, if you vote in communists, I say that without prejudice, they could freeze rents, build low-rent apartment buildings, freeze interest rates, limit gains on the resale of residential housing, block foreign ownership on and on.
