Racism...even from Asians against black people, but they do not talk about it. Racism... even from black people with light skin against black people with dark skin. (Just watch how many black girls with dark skin have opportunities in US, and compare with black girls with light skin). Racism...even from black people against they own skin colour ( the pandemy of bleaching skin). Racism... even from white people against people with diferent races. I am Malaysian Chinese, been in US for 8 years. Whenever i go to premium outlet/ some retail stores, it is so obvious to me that i am being treated differently by the staffs compared to White folks. The staffs often ignore me (don't greet me like how they greet others) and don't offer help automatically. The experience can be quite upsetting and frustrating.

Does not compare to begin native. I could compared statistics all day, but some of the greatest counterpoints to Canada being better are the intangible attributes of the US. Academically, although Canada may rank higher on standardized tests of science or math, the US cultivates a culture of innovation, and the US is phenomenal at teaching students to challenge the status quo - the reason for so many cultural, scientific, technological innovations being done on American soil or by American minds. Furthermore, the culture in the US is irreplaceable - the amount of diversity, geographically, socially, demographically, makes the USA the great nation it is today.

I find it to be mainly related to two key points: the level of education and the area you are in ! Highly educated people tend to be more decent and respectful to all people. Areas like Alberta is full of Racists compared to BC or Ontario

Being black in Canada sounds like paradise compared to the US. Where is the best real-estate?

This is a bit one sided as this study showed Caucasian businesses. How about Asian, Black or other races' establishments and see how they faired with racial profiling. I used to work with someone that worked for high end stores and she mentioned that they do actually go to class to spot someone that will actually spend money vs someone who just wants to window shop and yes they also taught racial profiling. Sales associates will cater more to well dressed shoppers compared to people who wears plain clothing.

Racism in Canada is subtle, at least in Saskatchewan and Alberta. It's alot better compared to the US or UK.

USA compared to Canada has a greater population given the fact that it is the third most populous nation in the world behind China and India and regarding land Canada is the second largest country in the world only second to Russia.

I'd like to address this to the woman who went to one of Trump's rallies dressed as a Moslem with her head covered with a scarf and having a sign that reads, 'I come in peace'. I don't know why she was asked to be escorted out, but by her own words the people in the crowd were throwing questions at her as to whether she had a bomb under her cloak. Well, whether she knew it or not, she provoked the crowd by wearing the mark of a Moslem - her cloak. Also, by going to the rally dressed the way she was, she knew before hand that she'd be treated that way. On her part, I see that as provocation. Had she gone plainly dressed or attired like everybody else, there would have been no adverse reaction toward her. I don't know what she could have said why she was asked to be escorted out, but she fully knows that the whole of America had been given the real and true picture of Islam - one of terror, murder, beheading, bombs, war, and blood. How do Moslems expect the most compassionate, kind, benevolent people in the world to act? So, please, use your common sense and do not see America as the enemy, the aggressor, or the provocateurs. They're not. They are just being vigilant knowing that the enemy could be so sly, cunning and untrustworthy. Islamic people,we welcomed you to our country. Don't think that we are not watching you. We have given you a new start for a happy life compared to the life you have had in your native lands, but we are guarding against an invasion that your evil governments have designed for our beloved country. I don't see why Canadians must learn about slavery in that country. I mean, if 4% of the population is black and many of them are immigrants from the Caraïbe. What is the point? They live in Canada.
